Rent-a-center committed to providing me with a brand new living room set. But after 5 months, the couch broke in on the right side. The manager said it couldn't be replaced because it was brand new but it had been sitting in the local office where it could be sat on. I asked if the money I've paid could be put toward a new set, she said no. I could come in a get a new set but I'd have to start with a new contract.
I would like for the money I've paid to be put towards the purchase of a brand new set of living room furniture.

I have made several attempts to resolve this issue and they refuse to show me a correct payment history and their written contract was honored. I oaid every month and more than $162 a month. Their payment history does not match mine and I need them to verify my payment history per bank statements. I paid as agreed and more. They are not honoring their contract.

(The ******** indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I will accept it, I will explain why it can be better. I honored the agreement and I expected the contract honored and all actions made transparent. I paid $2645 and acceptancenow are not acknowledging payments made. POOR customer service. They are still reporting $2207 received. What happened to the $438 additional payments made? I want total transparency. ESPECIALLY IN THE PAYMENTS POSTED ON MY CREDIT FILE. Account paid in full. Delete from all credit files. Thanks

I rented a LIFT/TILT chair to accommodate my disabled/wheelchair bound friend while on vacation.
I WAS NOT HERE WHEN THEY DROPPED OFF a broken chair with exposed wires.Someone has SCOTCH TAPED the wires to the base of the remote control.
The chair did not work. For TWO days my friend just sat in the chair. I used a hoyer lift to get him into the chair. I accidentally found that if I pushed the wires into the remote it would lift up. SATURDAY, July 16, 2022 I called the Wareham store to inform them that my friend was STUCK IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION AND THE CHAIR WOULD NOT WORK AT ALL. I was fearful that he would slide off the chair. No one returned my calls, nor did they inform me that the store was CLOSED ON SUNDAY.I was able to get neighbors to help me get my friend away from the chair and into bed. I reported the issue online Sunday on the corporate website. No return calls at all. I established a ticket # with Corporate and was told 24/48 HOURS. I made over a dozen calls to the Wareham store and finally spoke to the Mgr, Alton that told me he had no lift chairs but could have a lounge chair delivered Tuesday, July 19 between 12:00 and 1PM. Several calls, no delivery. Finally at 3:40 PM delivered a rocker chair. It's impossible to place a person in a lounge chair from hoyer lift. Called immediately to have it REMOVED. The 800 rep, Robert informed I should have know when it was delivered and I'd have to wait 24-48 hours for call from DM. Store Mgr said they could not pick up the chair until FRIDAY, July 22 between 1-4PM. Explained I needed it out ASAP to make room for another vendor to deliver a lift/tilt chair. "That's all I can do" was his reply. Delivered faulty/dangerous chair and now one that doesn't accommodate. Not the chair I contracted for.Customer service was rude, abrupt and a response of "that's how we do it" wad reply to starting clock again for resolution. Store is not troubled that delivered dangerous chair and disabled man is bed bound now.
