      My payments have been made every other week since my purchase which was February, some how the claim I’m past due, they call regarding payments not stating mini Miranda. Send text messages, not following TCPA guidelines.
      Then show up
      Not only did they not set up my refrigerator I never even signed my contract.
      Very unprofessional

      If i could leave zero stars i would, The Tappahannock va store is by far the worst. They leave nasty and distasteful voicemails about you and other customers on the phone. I called and was told that i would receive a month free and never got it and the manager cussed me out as well. I will bever purchase from here again

      I just paid off my washer through them.. I had the additional insurance they came 2 1/2 weeks ago to get my washer to fix it and still havent heard from them. Always an excuse when I call. So I took my business elsewhere!!!

      I have a few inquiries that I was trying to ask the corporate office of Rent A Center. However, I ended up getting the customer service instead. I had asked them what the policy is and they refused.....even though I am speaking on behalf of both myself and my wife (who is at work and unable to be present).
      The issue number 2 is that we had purchased some furniture from our local rent a center in chickasha Oklahoma. Apparently, the furniture looked new and debugged at the store. However, when they brought them over, there was a rip/torn zipper on the seat cushion. After 3 weeks of having the furniture, we started to have an infestation of bed bugs originating from the rip/torn zipper seat cushion. We had informed our local rent a center about the issue. They said that they can't deal with the furniture while the furniture is under contract. I contacted rent a center corporate and like I said earlier...gotten their customer service and they gave me the runarounds.

      If I could have give 0 to the sore located in ********* *************************************************************** I would. This is a scam , what kind of business they are running?? They make up their own clause that is not written in the contract. Using scam tactics with customers! Thats bad business.

      I needed speakers and a subwoofer for a surprise backyard birthday party and decided to rent from rent a center since they had a mobile audio package listed. The setup was affordable and I thought it would be a convenient choice, everything was ok until about halfway through the night, the subwoofer cut out intermittently, when I called to get it checked, the technician took days to show up and I had to return it a day late. I ended up paying a small late fee, which raised the total cost more than I expected.

      I have been late on some payments. I'm human so I'm not rent a centers best customer but I've almost paid all my items off and I've paid my TV off early. I've dealt with my local manager and he's the most un professional person I've dealt with. Sending me messages from a personal phone. I had a wreck during a blizzard and couldn't make my payment for 2 weeks and the same manager made so extremely unprofessional comments to me. Then proceeded to tell me he was sorry the comment he said was referring to a different customer. So I refused all calls from ******************** so I kept making payments. I was late this last 2 weeks so he leaves a printed piece of paper that has legal actions for people stealing rented property. I'm not a thief I'll never do business with them after I finish my contracts with them.

      Got a washer, dryer, and entertainment center delivered, but the entertainment center was the wrong one. They delivered the right heater attachment, but the entertainment center appears used and smaller. When I called/texted the pic of the right one, I was told that'd cost me more. I feel like I was scammed into paying $95 a month for something, then got sent the wrong one, so they can try to upsell me. Now I'm stuck paying $95 a month for something I don't like, and they gave me 2 heater attachments! I also asked in the store if they could assemble it because I have gMG (Myastenia Gravis), and that I'm not good at assembling stuff. Thru said they would, but I had to take it apart to remove the styrofoam from around the heater, and the I have no idea how to attach the legs or shelves. Haven't tried the washer/dryer yet, so I hope they work, because this already ***** as it is. **** isn't even texting me back to try and make this right. Been through so much this last year, so it ***** feeling like you're being taken advantage of again. Can't there be one place that has good customer service, and not care more about making the most off of people? Going to have to go eat a pint of ice cream now since I'm stuck with this! Would love it if someone can tell me of a place to go to get my next furniture since I'm not going back to the Rent-A-Center located at ********************************************* here in ***********, **.

      I recently rented a washer from rent a center in ********* ***** , I was a couple days late on my payment and received a message from an employee at rent a center in there own personal phone calling me brokie and to pay my bill and stop stealing , rent a center also came to my house and told my minor son while I was not at home that I am a thief and need to pay my bill .. this is so unprofessional and at this point I am being harassed for being late on my payment instead of them trying to work with me as a customer
