To whom this may concern as a customer I deserve respect the Manager at ********************* **** used provanity coming inside of my residence and after being a customer paying money into an account I'm finding it very difficult to rent item from my local Rent a center but the problem is in paid into a washer dryer combo and when my dryer needed service they picked up the dryer and left the washer now the problem is the washer needed service and now I'm having to worst experience because **** seems as he doesn't want to service me after I made complaint to corporate and now when I do application for business it seems like I can't get anyone to help me at that store locationBusiness Response

Employee told me he didn't care if I died from my health condition(I have made 4 maybe 5 complaint on this employee and asked evem to send anyone else but him and he comes back)but then another time the same employee kicked bottom of door and stuck foot in while I was closing my door to try and keep talking and did it TWICE which I have videocfoorage of everything then Showed up 3 times in one day. Have had to call law enforcement multiple times for how I was being treated and how they have been at my door. Definitely emotional distress and harassment regardless of situation. 05/29/25 Approx. 4:30 pm I was online looking to purchase our rent to own washer and dryer and came across their web sight. It clearly states in their web sight that 10 dollars pays for first week. I went when applied and it was approved to move forward. So I entered in my confidential and private information and sorry elected how I'd be making the weekly or monthly payments. After doing a hard pull on my credit I was approved and entered everything for my payments going forward. I was finished with applying and decided too call the store to set up a delivery date and time and when I did I was received by a rude! Inconsiderate, and grouchy mean idiot. Who didn't bother to explain anything but Told me that I would Have to give them my work phone number so they can contact my bus(HELL NO!) THAT'S PERSONAL AND PRIVATE! SAID TO GIVE THEM TWO PAY STUBS - PROOF OF EMPLOYMENT, PROOF OF ADDRESS ID AND ETC ETC NOW WHY WOULD THEY BE ADVERTISING THAT IT'S 100 PERCENT ABLE TO APPLY AND DO EVERYTHING ONLINE. THAT'S A BUILD HAVE LIE. AND HAVINGB THEM CONTACT MY EMPLOYER TO EXPOSE WHAT I'M BUYING AND HOW IS A PRIVACY ISSUE THAT SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED?!! ALSO BESIDES FALSE ADVERTISING THERE THEY ALSO STATE THAT 10 DOLLARS OAYS FOR FIRST WEEK?? BUT IT DOESN'T THEY CHARGED ME ***** AND MADE NO ATTEMPT TO TELL ME WHAT FOR. ANOTHER MISLEADING BUSINESS PRACTICES WHEN CLEARLY THEY STATE 10 POSTS FOR FIRST WEEK. ON TOP OF THE HARD PULL ON MY CREDIT THEY WANT TO DO THAT THEN HAVE THE STORE MANAGER RUN IT AGAIN FOR THEIR PEACE OF MIND?! HOW RIDICULOUS. SO MY CREDIT GETS HIT TWO WHAT THREE TIMES AND THEY STILL HOLD ONTO MY MONEY AND CAN YET STILL DENY MY ORDER EVEN AFTER ONLINE I SIGNED DOCUMENTS THROUGH DOCUSIGN FOR THEM AND EVERYTHING! IT'S REALLY BAD PRACTICES TO MISLEAD CUSTOMERS AND THEM ACT AS IF IT IS NORMAL.. I am disputing an invalid account reported by ************** on my credit report. This account is inaccurate, unverified, and violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Upon receipt of your complaint, Rent-A-Center (RAC) submitted a request to have all trade lines reported by us removed from Ms. *********** credit. The AUD control numbers are ******** and 12939184.
RAC can request but not guarantee that the credit reporting agencies will comply with our request to remove the trade line and there are no guarantees as to the effect of the removal of the trade line on the customers credit score or status. Updates to credit may take up to sixty (60) days to reflect.

I ordered a New Xbox from the store to rent. When I got there they tried to rent me a used Xbox so I said something about it! They said they would fix it so I left the store. When I got home I filled out the survey about my delivery and the guy called me afterwards and saw I gave them a low score and decided to argue with me! That was wild. I contacted Rent-A-Center over a week ago about my washing machine, making a weird noise and grinding sound for three days. They kept telling me that somebody will call me and somebody will be out. They never called me to make the appointments. I always had to call them and then finally I was able to get somebody where they came over and checked out the washing machine, but it didnt make any noise because they changed setting on the washing machine so after they left, I started back up the way I use it on a different setting and it started making a loud sound again the grinding sound and so I called them back. They said that theres somebody be out here today which is May 23on a Saturday. I called them this morning for them to come by. They said they will call me back because they dont know how the weather is to be and they will let me know I never received a call back no one ever showed up. Here it is over a week and my washing machine is still not fixed and its still full of clothes smells really bad because I cant do anything with it and Im getting very upset with this customer service because it does not take over a week for someone to either replace my washing machine or fix it. The woman at the office promised me that she will be here. She promised me that she was going to come and check out the washing machine herself and even bring the new one in case they had to replace it. They expect me to fulfill my promise when paying them, I expect them to fulfill their promise when they say theyre gonna do something. Considering that it is memorial Day weekend itll be over two weeks before I could be able to use my washing machine and I would like to be compensated for those two weeks that I was not able to use my washing machine either two weeks free for my agreement or a refund the two weeks that I was not able to use my washing machine and compensation because I am now at a laundromat to pay to wash my clothes. I started a rental agreement last week on a ******** switch. I found a much better deal and tried to take their switch back. They refused it and said the serial number didn't match. It for a fact is the same one they gave me. I am extremely upset with this situation! I have spent thousands of dollars at their store and have never tried to get over on them! I started a rental agreement with them back in late October. Recently I had some health issues and was unable to pay, but I had been paying for their benefits program that offered protection in the event of sickness or unemployment, which they refuse to uphold that offer for me. The store manager texted my personal number offering a $25 buyout that would put me up to date until my next bill, once I responded he switched saying the offer wasn't available for me despite mentioning me by name in the text. They refuse to respect the terms of their benefits program ive been paying for as well as the buyout they offered me, switching the terms both times despite never informing me on terms when the offer was placed.Business Response
