****** center employee violation of my contract by telling other people about the amount I owe and items I purchased at the renter center. I called to make a complaint but I was told that I was a lier. I asked for corporate number and *** the manager at the Decatur location told me that I can call all I want but he was going to let them know that I didnt make a complaint and that I never called. I told him to please give me the number and he refused by saying I was going to have to Go Through chain of command which was starting with him. But since he was going to tell them I didnt call in (which I was doing at that time with him.) he was being very nonchalant and rude.Calls should be recorded for insurance purposes and I would like those phone calls. Also ****** a worker came banging on my door after I politely told her to stop she kept knocking. Also I tried to make a complaint as well they refusedBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have returned the property and they did violate my contract terms by disclosing personal information and details about my account. ****** did tell someone who is not listed on my account about my delinquent payments and what items that I had a renter center. They are completely lying which they told me that they would. *** the store manager said he wouldnt talk my complaint and that he was going to tell corporate if I got in contact with them, that they didnt have any information about me calling in to complain and I stated are you serious and he said he was.
they are backing him up and I am taking legal action I have someone who will testify that they did disclose my personal information from our contract and I also have it on police video cameras that the day ****** came and banged on my door the guy with her finally admitted to her doing so. He just didnt want to get in it because he work there. The cops have already let me get that to use in court august 9th. They violated my privacy policy and rights and I want to *** for that matter. And also its a ring on my neighbors door that has the whole video.

I ordered a 5 pc. dining room set first week of June. I paid $326 via my Chase account over the phone as a down payment. The week of delivery, they confirmed 4pcs with table to be delivered on a date I was not available so I canceled the order. I have been given the run around since then for my refund. They now tell me they don't see my order as if I am not entitled to a refund. I asked if I could send proof, could not. I have spoken to more than 7 people at the company and was told I would be contacted last week but no call or communication from them and now when I call I don't get an answer at all. I have attached my payment receipt.Business Response

The response stated I gave the wrong address for refund which is not correct.
I was never called or informed of a refund before my complaint to BBB. **** called me on 7/6/2023 and stated the refund was mailed. At that time, I asked where she sent the refund to confirm. She had my new address which was where the furniture was to be delivered but she checked her records and told me the check was being mailed to my previous address.
At which time, she updated my address to my new address and stated she would have the refund sent here, to date, I have not received a refund.
Customer Answer
Date: 07/14/2023
I am rejecting this response because: what she is stating is incorrect. No one called me about a refund until after my complaint to BBB. **** called me on 7.6.2023 to say the refund was being processed to be mailed and only after I asked where the check was being sent did she check her records. She knew I moved, we had a lengthy discussion but had my old address listed to send the refund check. I corrected her at that time and confirmed my new address for her to send the check. I have not received a refund to date.Business Response

Acceptance now states that if furniture is in good condition but if you (as in my situation) move to a home the furniture does not fit- they will check the furnitures condition and have a RAC pick it up so you can then purchase furniture that works. After numerous calls. No returned calls. No solutions. Paying for furniture I cannot use. There is still no resolution. I was however, informed that if I didn't pay for the furniture I cannot use, the law would get involved. In their agreement fine print- it says they assist you in these situations.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
Furniture was picked up but have no proof I'm no longer financially responsible for it.
Also, considering I was paying for furniture I was told would be picked up, then once filing a complaint I was able to speak to someone and STILL having issues getting it picked up, a refund from the time I called and was told "yes we can definitely help you out" until now would be ideal.
I did lose a day of pay waiting for the furniture to be picked up. And it had to be moved 3 times. Money I spend, furniture that couldn't be used. Personally spend $200 1 move then $650 the 2nd on this furniture.
So no I don't accept. I have no proof you have my furniture but I'm still financially responsible

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. Although the company could reimburse me from the time of original complaint to them directly. As their attempt to brush my request off failed because of contacting the BBB. That would demonstrate good business. Very few companies do it anymore. But as a nurse with a big mouth- those are the ones I recommend. To TONS of patients & their families.
