      Dear ************:

************** entered into a written contract in the form of a rental agreement that contained all disclosures mandated by applicable state law.

Our District Manager has contacted ************** and upon disconnection, has attempted to call back in order to assist ************** in bringing her delinquent lease current. Unfortunately, **************' conduct during her communications has prevented RAC from reaching a mutually agreeable resolution.  Without the ability to communicate with ************** we are unable to resolve the complaint. It is **************' responsibility to make timely payments and she may do so by contacting the store to avoid collection.

I had gone to rent a center a year ago leasing a washer and dryer. June 10th i moved, asking for it them to retrieve it after they said they dont help during the moving process. it took a few days to get back in contact and they told me they could only pick it up Friday, but I had a balance due. I paid that yesterday, online. Come to find out I paid an additional $150 that would have allowed me to hold on to it for the month. they asked if I wanted to, I asked for a refund multiple times before it was picked up but was ignored. I called today, and the woman I spoke with said unfortunately after units are picked up, we cant offer refunds our systems wont allow it I asked to speak with a manager, she transferred me and a man answered. I explained the situation and he laughed said hold on put me on hold for a few seconds snd said the manager will be calling you back. The manager has not. I was scammed.

Im away and a family member has been keeping up with my account. Its been late a few times. We made a late payment 6/16/23. Before that payment was made, we noticed a missed call from the mangers personal cell phone then a few seconds later an attempt on my card was made without my authorization. My account is not set up for auto pay. Im positive it is unlawful for any company to authorize a payment without consent.

I contacted the ************ in ********, **. Location and spoke to ***** regarding a lift chair. He asked me how long I would need the rental and I told him 1-2 weeks, he gave me a weekly quote and said it would be a few days because he would have to get one from another store. He said that he had to collect payment for the entire month and I then questioned why as I only needed the rental for 1-2 weeks and he said the policy is to collect payment for the 4 weeks and that at the end I would be refunded if I didnt keep it for the 4 weeks. Today I called to setup pickup (2 weeks later) and was told they couldnt pick it up until one day next week. I then asked if I would be charged for those extra days because I no longer needed the rental. The lady that had taken my call then passed me off to ***** who began yelling and speaking over me that he never told me that. I asked him to stop being disrespectful and that it was okay I would report this to management and requested that he provide me with the contact information to do so and he said he would not be giving me the information to reach out to his manager and hung up on me. I have rented recliner chairs for many years from Rent A Center and have never been treated so poorly. I would like to speak to someone who manages this store and they can call me on my cell: ************

I went here for a bed and a recliner. They delivered an incomplete bed on Monday and now it's Thursday and they took the bed back because the driver scratched and chipped the wood, because ***** told to put a metal base inside the frame he set up, this was done because the queen sized wooden slats didn't fit the full size frame. He didn't bring a tape measure (twice)to cut the boards, and twice they were cut too short. I told them to get it back and issue a refund. They told me they would call me as soon as they had cash come in. They have no idea when that will be! Now, I have no bed to sleep in because the old one went to the garbage. They offered me to keep the mattress with a metal base too big for the mattress. I was willing to pay ***** dollars to have this bed but all I got was a giant headache. I have a broken back and have arthritis in my hips and I get to sleep on the couch. Unacceptable
