      Ezcorp reps had last 4 of ssn, and old employer , and was attempting to garnish my wages if I didn't pay and proceed with more information. They were very convincing and quick with their words, they made it clear that I pulled cash and was being sent to court for FRAUD and if I didn't comply , well the courts would garnish my wages due to my fraud case. They made me think for a moment but I knew that my accounts were good and IF ANYTHING I would receive a letter from the courts especially if I was being sued. THEY ****, IF I WAS 20 YRS YOUNGER OR 20YRS OLDER I WOULD BE SH^^^TING MY PANTS !! SHAME ON THEM

      I received a phone call one month ago stating that mfp and Associates out of ********** were collecting a debt that I owed from 2012 from CashNetUSA payday loan and the $500 cash advance I received went into a ******* which I contacted the bank and cashing at *** and neither one have had an account in my name with my information but this company is trying to collect money for EZcorp in the amount of $4,849 on a $500 cash advance online loan that I never received that I never applied for I have turned this in to my local police department and also the *** They just called me again being very rude and saying they will put a lein on my truck and take me to court im a single mom this is not ok

      I received a call at work this morning from this company called First Step Servicing or ******************** claiming to be a mediator for ** CORP saying they were contemplating a civil case against me in court. They had my entire ssn, prior address, two emails which one was correct, work number, name of employer, but when I asked details about when this supposed loan was taken out, they could not tell me. They said the original loan was $500 and that maybe I moved and didn't get the information from the ** Corp. All of the info matched except the bank account number. Then they said maybe someone used my banking information for this loan like my ex-husband. Again, they couldn't tell me anything. Most mediators do not act this way. They insisted that if I didn't make a settlement today that they would send me to civil court. Just the fact that they were ******* for a settlement today seems suspect. I asked for information for my lawyer, and they would not provide it.

      I went to Ez Pawn to pick up my item and I was told it wasnt there. The staff said someone broke in through the roof and stole my item. Although Ive paid the required fees , I never received any notification of my item being missing. I asked the store why I wasnt contacted about this situation and I wasnt given a clear answer. The answers varied from We didnt know your property was missing, We were told to not tell customers anything, Wait and talk to customers when they come into the store. A staff member even said I was told to tell people that its lost, but thats not the truth- your item was stolenThese responses didnt make sense in relation to the actual events that took place at all. Some of the staff got extremely rude, loud, using profanity, and even physical, towards me. This exaggerated behavior seemed very suspicious to the point it was an obvious cover up for what really happened.I was told that someone was supposed to contact me to resolve this, which hasnt happened. This store refused to replace my property with a new item or reimburse the money that I paid either. Instead , they tried to give me someone elses property to replace it, which isnt acceptable. Be cautious of doing any business with this company due to the dishonest handling of customers property, especially with the lack of communication while customers are paying for services.

      I have been getting voicemails from this company claiming to be a mediator for EZ CORP saying they were contemplating a civil case against me in court but they couldnt provide any proof to me that this was in fact me. The loan was supposedly from 11 years ago! I have resolved all of my debts and do not recall what this could have been. Now I am reading all of the scam notifications and l am convinced this is not real. I am not paying any company a dime without some kind of proof that this was in fact me and they were giving me the total runaround - transferred me 3 times to a manager who told me the same BS story. I asked for something in writing and they said they could not send anything without my commitment to resolve the case. Ummm, NO. Thats not how it works.

      This a scam company that uses false information that claims you owe money this company text and called me and said i wrote a check that was returned and i owed over $900.00 in 2015.i told them i did not owe them but he said a judge had been contacted he said to avoid this i needed to pay this and or i would be served with a get served with a summons to appear in court so i set a payment plan and made 1 payment for $100.00.a week later another company called me and said the same thing this made investigate the EZCORP.INC. i was SHOCKED ! They have 200 hundred complaints for the same scam as of October 2023.I need my money back and need BBB TO help me do that also want EZCORP.INC.to apology for this scam practice have contacted my bank to cancel anymore attempts to withdraw any money from my accounts.4

      Today I got in mail letter from ********************.The statement that I got said that I took EZCORP EZMONEY the amount was $1,900.70. Yes have last four s.s number .I know that I have not use this company for loan. It fun because it does not say name of back the went to or that a payment was made. As I reading it it had my x-husband and mom name in letter I got. I feel like scamming or my mom use my name and s.s number but I do not know because she pass in 2016 and I divorce my husband back 2008. I plan to email heritage and ask them send me that so call paperwork and copy of my drivers license. This got to good scams. Plus if I did have loan would it show on my credit report or I would not be able to get a new card that wouldve been on my credit under collection agency so I know its just gonna be one h*** of a good scam

      They will not quit calling me and my family members. I've asked for info regarding the debt and they won't email me anything without settling it first.
