1 starMy firm placed an order for business checks over the phone almost three weeks ago, the status details of which did not show on the website. The automated phone system prompts you early in the call to enter your routing and account info. This notifies the system on whether you have a pending order. If you have a pending order, the system's options tree will always pigeonhole you towards two outcomes: 1. Instructs you to check/shop the website and disconnects, or 2. Gives you the minimal amount of information and disconnects. You are never provided an opportunity to speak to a human because they don't WANT you to speak to a human. This is a critical failure on the part of Harland Clarke and for this alone, I wish I had ordered through literally any other company. To "hack" this system, enter "0" as your routing number and you will be presented with different options which will eventually connect you to a real person. When I did finally speak to a human, I was informed that my order was not entered properly (by the previous CSR,) would never be fulfilled, and needed to be cancelled and a replacement order placed. Bottom line: I should not have to manipulate Harland Clarke's faulty automated system to learn that Harland Clarke screwed up my order.Harland Clarke: Do better by your customers.Financial institutions: Contract literally ANY other company. 1 starThis company is the worst! I ordered checks through here because they were the recommended through my bank. Biggest mistake! Although they acknowledged my order I never received it, and when trying to call and talk to someone I get hung up on when trying to talk to someone. 1 starAbsolutely a NIGHTMARE. Online order is the biggest cluster f@ck. Will not recognize my email that is connected to my banking and I have ordered checks through before. The only email I have used. It is entered correctly for the 100 and millionth time. Absolutely no customer assistance. I need **********************. ***** ********** does not assist with this. The automated phone service is a complete joke. I will NEVER use Harland ***** Corp. Again. Disgusting. No stars. You are reason America is going down the tube. America is passing with its greatest generation. The only generation and some if mine that actually give a sh#t about customers. This is a simple thing and critical item that you have absolutely ruined. I doubt this review even matters to a big corporation in this day and age. Surely the most self centered generation of Millennials are running it. You folks will ruin what I and your great grands built. All because you are unwilling to sacrifice. 1 starPlaced an order for personal checks with Harland Clarke on 7/6, with trackable delivery. The order status page reports the order was shipped 7/11, with an expected delivery date of 7/18. My bank account was billed on 7/20 for the order. To date, 7/28, I have not received my order of checks.The Harland Clarke order status page contains a shipment tracking link. This takes me to DHL's tracking page, which reports "Unfortunately, no results found. Please confirm the accuracy of your tracking number and try again. If your tracking number is correct and you still do not get tracking results, kindly contact the merchant for further support."Every login to their online system to check status results in the ordering "cart" being pre-populated with a NEW order for checks. This is Opt-In at its worst.My attempts to contact Harland Clarke have failed utterly. Attempting to navigate their automated customer service phone system NEVER leads to a human, nor provides any means to request additional information. All paths eventually lead to the system suggesting placing an order through their website, then saying "Goodbye" and disconnecting.Finally, on 7/28, my bank reversed the Harland Clarke charges for my order, and placed "Stop Payment" orders against every check in the order. I am now searching for a reputable business to print my checks.I strongly suggest NOT ordering checks through Harland Clarke, or any check ordering service that uses Harland Clarke or their new name "********".Review fromBernadette E

1 starDo not use this company to order checks. They use DHL to deliver and DHL must be the worst delivery service in existence. I placed my order on 7/5 and received notice they were shipped on 7/11. Tracking from DHL said they were handed over to **** on 7/17 and should be delivered on 7/18. I realized the **** doesnt operate on anyone elses schedule but when the checks didnt arrive by Thursday, I went by the **** who told me they had no information to give me and then I called Harland, who suggested I needed to go to the bank and close my account and reopen another one as the checks definitely seemed to be lost. Then I called DHL and was told that once the package is given to **** they become UNTRACKABLE. Unbelievable! The rude customer service rep told me **** does NOT scan them into their system so there is no way to know where they are. I cannot believe Harland sends out peoples personal checks in this careless manner. All someone needs is a routing number and checking account number to clean out a bank account. Shouldnt a check printing company know this? Evidently they dont or dont care. After getting myself upset at the thought of someone stealing my checks, and worrying about having to reopen another account, my checks arrived on Saturday, 7/23. Never again will I order from Harland. My bank takes all kinds of online measures to protect my information and then uses this company to send out checks in the manner. 1 starHarland supposedly sent my checks 6/22/22 and they never arrived. My bank has advised me to cancel all my bank accounts and start with fresh accounts. I have to individually contact every company that did automatic withdrawals for bills and redo my company direct deposit for my paycheck. What a pain.Terrible customer service, was told to "be patient" and "wait it out". A MONTH????? Where are my checks!!??Review fromGretel H

1 starAs with others, Harland doesn't even deserve one star. Shocked that my bank directed me to them to order checks.1) Didn't get notification of shipping.2) Shipped 6/27, due 7/4, paid for tracking, click on tracking and DHL says tracking number is invalid 3) call their number, if you misenter your account number, the button to reenter doesn't work and you have to hang up and call again.4) You cannot reach a human agent on the personal account number -- it just redirects to the website (They have no webform or email contact, so to contact about any problem, you have to call)5) CALL THE BUSINESS ACCOUNT NUMBER if you need to reach human. Did finally reach someone who is sending me new checks, but now contacting my bank about the 80 checks floating around out there untraceable despite paying their extra tracing fees.Review fromBianca D

1 starAs other reviewers have stated, if I could possibly give these folks a ZERO star review, I would.I ordered my checks at the end of June. I was then told there would be "delays" because I ordered duplicate checks and there is some "supply chain" issue. OK, no problem, I am in no rush. I got an email confirmation of my order, where it stated that the "Est. arrival" was 7/5 -- which of course is total fiction as I had already been told NOT to expect this any time soon -- so why put that on your order confirmation email? That email also said this was shipped with some "CheckProtect" TRACEABLE shipping method (which this company took the time to trademark). Unfortunately, that super duper "CheckProtect" TRACEABLE system has a few holes. The company shipped my checks on 6/30 (NO NOTIFICATION OF SHIPMENT, WHO DOES THAT?), shipped the checks via DHL from TX. DHL then "tendered" the package to the **** in *******, ** on 7/7 and from there, this package has gone into some black hole. DHL cannot provide a **** tracking number. They have informed me that Harland Clarke shipped the package with with an "untrackable" method once DHL turned over to ****. What? How exactly can you track the checks then if you make the shipment "untrackable." NO ONE can provide a valid **** number (not DHL, not HC) so, **** has NO way to track or even acknowledge receipt of this package. NO one knows where the checks are, where they have been since 7/7 and when or if I will get them. My blank checks are out there, somewhere, unaccounted for and "untrackable." And Harland Clarke's response to all this? Oh, don't worry, they are "not lost," (how exactly do you know that if you can't tell me where they have been for the last 9 days?) "They will turn up eventually?" That is what passes for a secure check shipment process? And the kicker? Their rep ******* me this had been going on for TWO YEARS. And you still haven't found a solution?HOW DOES SUCH AN INCOMPETENT OPERATION STAY IN BUSINESS?
