      I was charged $1.99 on May 8th from a company called FloatMe and I had to idea I signed up for a membership so I just found out I was signed up for a membership without my permission or knowledge and they used my account info which was supposed to be used to supposedly track my acc and tell me how much I am spending on difference things and also see if I qualified for a $50 fee which was the main reason I downloaded the app but they kept saying I didnt qualify because I didnt have enough deposit which wasnt true and they refuse to refund my money back my email is *************************** I am also requesting for my bank info to be removed from their system.

      Hello, 

       

      The account under email address ************************** was canceled and the subscription fee was refunded at request on May 9, 2023. The user submitted a support ticket on Monday May 8, which was replied to on May 9th. 

      Please see attached screenshot of the member's support ticket, stating that they signed up for an account themselves but would like to cancel. Since this user's refund is on the way, we will mark this issue resolved.

      Ive cancelled my float me account and yet theyve still charged me $1.99 on 04/24/2023. *** never qualified for anything and Ive attempted to delete my bank account info but no success,

      I have reviewed the response and I would like to clarify, I cancelled float me account prior to o4/21/2023. There is an in app option to cancel and it doesn't specify what date you cancelled on. Float me is a scam.

      I made a floatme account and you will not let me remove my bank info this is illegal and I dont want to have to get my bank involved please remove my bank info now!!!!

      float me app taking money out of my account and i haven't received anything from them for services. they are stealing money

      Hello, 

      Upon review of this customer's account, we found that their subscription remained Active until it was canceled by the customer on April 14, 2023. 

      We charge a **** monthly subscription fee for access to all of our services, including Floats. This fee helps us ensure the security of the platform and provide our current and future services. We advertise the fee for our services on the App & Play Store when the app is downloaded, as well as during the sign-up process and in our terms and conditions.

      Our customers can cancel their subscription any time via the app or by emailing us directly. We have now refunded the latest subscription charge as a courtesy and responded to the customer's refund request via Support ticket, which as submitted earlier today on April 17, 2023.

      We have marked this customer's support request Solved on April 17, 2023.

      FloatMe continues to charge my debit card twice a month for $1.99. My account was canceled previously months ago and I never qualified for a loan. This company is a scam. I have notified FloatMe two times with no response. I want my money refunded.

      After a thorough review, we have found two accounts under this customer's information. One was closed, but one remained Active until it was canceled on April 16, 2023 at the customer's request. 

      We have now refunded the last two subscription charges on this account (email address: ********************* as a courtesy and replied to the customer via email. Customers can cancel their subscriptions any time via the app or via email. Our policy strongly recommends starting only one FloatMe account to avoid double charges. 

      This customer's support request has been marked Solved as of April 16, 2023.

      I closed my float me account on 11/14/22. I was wondering why I was still being charged $1.99 from ACH since then. ON 03/03/2023 I received an email from ******* at float me. I have added the screenshot of the email below. I followed the steps he told me to. I thought that it was done. Then I went to my banking app today 03/25/2023, low and behold I see an ACH from my bank for another $1.99 not even 1 month later! Also, I downloaded the app again just to try and cancel AGAIN through the app but I cant because floatme blocked my account for whatever reason. They are stealing at this point! I want my checking account information scrubbed from their database and I want a full refund of every $1.99 they took since I closed this account in November 2022!

      We appreciate your patience in this matter. We've conducted a thorough investigation and found that the member in question (***************************) had 3 separate Active FloatMe accounts. We strongly discourage opening more than one FloatMe account to avoid multiple charges.

      All FloatMe accounts detected by our system to be related to this user's device and information have now been closed, and the subscription charges were refunded as requested on March 25, 2023.

      These people do not allow cancelling subscription!!!!!!! I've never used a dime because I didn't qualify and now they are charging my account!!!!!

      Float me refuses to allow me to access my account and has blocked me from the app and logging in but wont stop charging my bank account monthly. I havent been able to borrower money since 2021 and yet I still have monthly charges from float me every month for $1.99. It is not a lot of money but it is useless and not beneficial to pay a company for no reason especially considering I have an email stating my membership was canceled but yet they still withdraw funds from my account every month. I have reached out to support I have tried to call but there is no customer service number I have followed the steps to cancel membership yet FloatMe never stopped charging me monthly. I have no other resort but to file a complaint in hopes to get this resolved.

      On Dec 22, float me took out 2 payments of ****, which I tried contacting them about and never got a resolution (my bank refunded me and I had to get a new debit card) & again on February 17th, they took out another ****. They tried taking another payment of **** out today (February 21st 2023) but my account did not have enough in it. I want them to STOP taking money out of my account for an app that I dont have an account with anymore! I have tried contacting their customer service with no response. I would like my money back also.
