      So I went to the location in ********* ******** and ordered glasses and sunglasses. I was told at each step that I was getting what I ordered. In truth, what I got instead was nothing I wanted. I placed an order for nearly $600, and got only non-polarized sunglasses and only polycarbonate lenses. I did not get uv filtering, scratch resistance or any other upgrade. The sunglasses are clear why? Why would I order sunglasses that have no polarity? What would be the point. So the entire order was wrong, the worker said I was getting exactly what I wanted, to find out the entire order was wrong AND to fix it I would have to pay more money They literally did nothing right, and that is my fault. Their ****** cant even read the receipts to figure out what was included completely unacceptable on all accounts

      I have used the ************ location at ******************************************************** and It is amazing.Dr. ****** is the assigned ophthalmologist. He is not only knowledge but also has a calming character who takes the time to explain to his patients. At the actual optical ********, an associate, and Yayma, the store manager, are amazing. They always help the customer with their advises. This last time I have worked with ******** for my new set of glasses and he helped me with his expertise and did his best to lower the price as much as he could. Honestly, this is a great location and I strongly recommend it.******* *****, *****

      Working with corporate regarding this issue, atp. Ordered glasses on day spectrum business went down and so did their internet. So the payment and order went ignored for almost a week until I called back, then they realized order had not been placed and submitted it. Given various dates and assurances when my glasses would arrive, none of which were true. Three weeks later I have no glasses, no record of an order in their system anymore and no refund. Had my mother get involved who is an attorney and she is in communication w/corporate. It is ridiculous and unacceptable that all of this occurred and not one person has apologized or taken accountability or even given a flat, scripted "I understand your frustration"...not from anyone incl the "Supv". All they do here is place blame elsewhere, claim it's out of their hands and force me to wait for more bogus info or for the next negative thing to occur. It is unbelievable how much has gone wrong with this place! and I'm actually shocked at all the positive reviews! I should've gone to Eyes on ******* like someone recommended but nooooo! ??09/04/24 UPDATE -#1) Although I gave **** the phone number where I can be reached, a ** allegedly tried to contact me yesterday but he used the wrong number. You would hope after reviewing my complaint this GM would've taken the initiative to check whether there were other numbers he could try...but nope, he didn't reach anyone and that was that. SMH.#2) Now ***** w/corp customer service has advised since the original order placed in August mysteriously disappeared and could not be located in any of their systems, they have reordered my glasses! AND...I was told it could take up to 2-3wks to receive them! So in total, it will have taken TWO MONTHS to receive a pair of glasses from Visionworks!#3) I want a refund asap so I can quickly move forward from this.This entire experience has given me increased anxiety and I am angry at the way I have been mistreated throughout!

      This place ***** ! They are absolutely disgraceful and their ghetto manager is horrible! Spent $800 in 10 mins and a month later still no glasses. Telling me it takes time to make glasses ! Time?????? What are they making these glasses at home in their basement. And of course you cant find any owner because hes running a scam. When you walk all his employees are talking on their phone messing around. You need to hound them to get anything. What a horrible horrible place.

      Visionworks has been a terrible terrible experience twice. The first time it took me 6 months to get the correct lenses. VSP insurance makes you go to this place with cheap frames just to get the best deal on your insurance. The second time I've been seeing for over 9 months they still keep s******* up on my lenses. Now they don't want to give me a refund and want me to pay out a pocket even though their doctor screwed up on my lens.

      I had an appointment scheduled at 12 on Monday June 24th. I walked in at 12:09 due to a traffic jam and was told to sit and wait for an associate to assist me. About 8-10 minutes later I was asked what was I there for I stated I had a 12 noon appointment for my yearly eye exam. She stated how the doctor may not be able to see me due to me being late and they only give 5 min grace ******* It was stated I wouldnt have been seen at 12 noon if I was here on time because the doctor was running behind with his other patient which is why they wanted me to reschedule because it would cut into the lunch time which is not my fault if I was here on time or not I wouldnt be able to be seen at my scheduled time. The doctor was still in service with the previous client so I would still have to wait and it was always cutting into the lunch time. She stated how they had lunch coming up and would be able to reschedule for 2pm . I feel the motive for wanting to reschedule was to cut off an appointment so they can get to lunch on time which is a huge inconvenience to me. I was 9 minutes late to an appointment and couldnt have been seen which I explained i have a very busy schedule and I cant just come back and I need this exam because my glasses are broken and I need my glasses to see. I have never heard about being turned down due to being 9 min late. Some jobs dont even consider 9 minutes late. This is very frustrating and unprofessional. The store manager name was ***** and the associates were named ****** and ****** very rude

      I made an appointment over the phone using their prompts, for the **********, ** location. Booked it for 12:40pm. Was there at 12:30, and a lady took my info and ask me to be seated someone will be with me shortly. In the meantime I see their workers going back and forth. Some tending to customers others not. 45 minutes later, a worker whom I've seen going back and forth, who I saw tend to one customer earlier, called my name. He ushered me into a dark room where there was a young lady already seated. He asked me several questions to which I answered. Mind you I am already disgusted that I was seated way pass my appointment time. Then he ask would I like to get a test which examines the back of my eye and cost $19.99, because it's not covered under the insurance. I said no because I waited so long and wanted to be done with the eye exam. The young lady whispered something along the line of "he can't afford it". To which the guy said, you know you're the first one to say no to the $19.99. That infuriated me because it was nothing but an upsell and totally inappropriate. I just got up and told him I did not like the statement he just made and left the establishment. BTW the lighting in there is subpar, had many lights that burned out all over the showroom, hard not to notice that while one is waiting. Never again will I visit a Vision Works store, never.

      Ordered glasses for my child. Its been 5 weeks I still dont have them. No one is communicating with me. *** been told there was a problem at the lab after 3 weeks of waiting and nothing else since. Appointment was 5/2/2024 today is 6/6/2024 still no glasses no GM has called me back nothing. School and testing are now over and insurance only pays for one pair a year. So I guess I have to pay out of pocket somewhere else now? The worse part for me is there is NO COMMUNICATION! Theyre avoiding me completely. I guess I will hear from them if they ever call and say the glasses are ready.

      I make an appointment about a month a go and they never told me anything about bring the details of my insurances. And now my appointment was yesterday 5/17, and they **** me as a no show. And a lady name bridge canceled the appointment. Now they cant see me because of the mess this lady dis not share with me they day i did the appointment and yesterday when she call. Im furious i have a procedure next week my eyes iis not doing good a d i was looking forward to this appointment. Im so upset why is my fault to bring something when NO ONE TOLD ME. Now i have to wait until next week. This place is Visionworks ***************** ********************************************** Horrible and now im stress and upset and now wait for next week ?

      The Vision Works located in ********, ********, has very poor customer service, to start. I personally had to ask 3 times to get my script written for single vision and then it took getting laughed at to get it. And them telling me the place I was ordering from didn't know how to read a script, yet a friend of mine who went there also, they didn't get her script right, so obviously they can't even read a script! I have never in my life been made to look like such a fool by not only the desk people but the doctor himself.
