      Original contract was not provided upon **************** person did not audibly disclose 5 year contract. Came up on the end of contract and made multiple phone call attempts to cancel and loyalty department was always closed or unavailable - a call back was promised but never happened. I finally reach loyalty **** just to find out that a written statement to cancel was required a month in advance (with zero renewal updates or anything from AMP). I attempted to find details or information from their website and couldn't locate anything helpful. I've been counting down the days until I could stop paying for this unreliable service and they auto renewed me for another 5 years unless I want to pay $1850. Half of the equipment stopped working within the first 3 months, never saw a second technician after an initial repair was made (door closure alarms keep falling off and ripping paint off of my walls) - ******** hasn't worked for years.

      Hello *******, we train our sales representative to be upfront and transparent before, during, and after the sale. Additionally, we conduct quality assurance phone surveys and provide copies of all signed agreements to our customers on the day of the sale. A 3 day right of recision is supplied as well. This timeframe gives a grace ******* which allows customers to review the paperwork they signed, contact us with any questions or concerns, and, if so desired, the ability to cancel with no penalty.       .Their equipment is usually glitchy, and good luck canceling services even after selling your home and moving. Their customer service is overseas, so theyll say you have a bad connection when calling. They are also condescending and unprofessional. My cancellation fee was $1800, and they still charged the monthly payment even when the services were no longer in the home. Stay away from this company at all costs!!!!

      AMP HAS DOUBLE CHARGED ME FOR 6 MONTHS, WITHDRAWING TWICE A MONTH WHICH I FEEL WAS FRAUDULENT AND ALTHOUGH THEY DID RETURN SOME 0F THE MONIES THEY INCREASED THE AMOUNT FROM $83 PER MONTH TO $96..I APPROVED TITATIUM TO DEBIT MY CARD NOT AMP,,,I WASNT EVEN NOTIFIED OF AMP TAKE OVER,, IVE BEEN TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE FOR OVER 30 DAYS AND APPARENTLY THERE IS ONLY 1 LOYALTY SUPERVISOR THAT CAN ASSIST ME, BUT HAS BEEN TOO BUSY WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS TO EVEN RETURN A CALL,,, ALTHOUGH AUTO PAY WAS INFORCE AND 2 CHARGES WERE TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT I RECEIVED A PAST DUE FAILER TO PAY NOTICE IN THE AMOUNT 3 TIMESTHE FRAUDULENT 96 DOLLAR CHARGE, *** SPOKEN TO 9 DIFFERENT EMPLOYEE AND 1 ASSISTANT LOYALTY SUPERVISOR..STILL AWAITING RESULTS TO RECTIFY SO I CAN CANCEL THIS SERVICE

      They stick you with a contract we had a contract for 36 months since we didnt send in our cancellation letter 30 days before we needed to cancel it automatically renewed reverted back they told ** to the original five-year contract and they went back to the 36 month contract so I gotta send it six years the stuff dont even work so were paying for units and stuff that does not work very disappointing The payment started out at $70.99 and is now $74.99.

      I have never had any problems with this company. My payment has been the same for the last 5 years. I changed my internet and couldn't get the doorbell to link up to it. Customer service patiently walked me through the process step by step and I got it all sorted out and it still works fine. I find the alarm system reliable and if it happens to go off, it's because I forgot to disarm it before going out the door. In this instance, they call my panel IMMEDIATELY to access the situation. If I'm outside and can't get back to the panel fast enough then they call my phone. Just had 3 new cameras installed, and they are working great!

      I signed up for this in December of 2017 I tried to cancel my service two years ago and was told I had a five-year agreement. I just now tried to cancel my service again and was told that since I didnt do it in December of 2022 that they automatically renewed my service for 5 more years and that I would have to pay $1000.00 + to cancel.

      They ensured my system was back to normal afer a fraud attempt by another home-security vendor, and all appears to work as advertised. Kudos to **** for keeping my home safe!

      **** was an outstanding employee today he saved my **** and got me my internet going my Wi-Fi going on my camera and on my security. I'm thankful that he is as patient as he was because I don't think anyone else would have stayed on the phone as long as he did to get my system up and running you only have five stars but I think he deserves I know he deserves 10 plus a big fat raise!

      These people are horrible and take us elderly abuse and scam ** for their service. I am 72 years old senior who signed up for 3 years and when I canceled my service they told me I signed for 5 years NO I DID NOT AND HAVE A WITNESS TO THE 3 YEARS PER SALES PERSON. I have never received a contract and I refuse to pay them anymore. They are using threats and I will not pay or speak to these crooks.

      An absolute scam. We signed up two years ago, thinking Ampsmart offered better services than competitors at a lower price. It all worked great until we were outside of the initial cancellation window. Then we were locked into a 60 month contract. Since then its been nearly constant issues. Theres always at least one camera that isnt working. The equipment is slow. The doorbell never works when we need it to. Its incredibly difficult and time-consuming to try to troubleshoot it yourself. Customer service has been outsourced to another country, so communication about issues is a major pain. I called in wanting to add my husband as a second authorized signer, in case any changes need to be made to our account and I cant be the one to do it. They couldnt provide a way to add him without forcing us into an additional 60 months on our contract, even though hes the one that pays the bill! Always, always read everything before signing a document from them. Youll be legally bound, even if the call center on the phone says that its not true. We 100% regret going with this company and will be getting out and switching to a different provider as soon as this ridiculous contract is up. Its way too expensive for providing such unreliable service.
