      I paid them off on March 14th 2025 & They reported a late payment on my credit report! I called an asked why & they said well dont worry next month weeee wont do it again! um well ma'am thanks but the damage is done now! Why yall have to lie!

      This is the worst card and experience I've ever had to deal with. Everything *****, customer service, unnecessary fees ??. I had unexpected family emergency which I used my card for, I've been paying on it for over 6 months and still owe more than I spent, now How is this possible ??. I'll be alerting the **** this has to be unlawful process.

      This company is the worst. I have a maxed out Double your line Credit card through Merrick that I literally have not used since November 2024. I am trying to pay it down month to month, but everything I pay into it is getting eaten, because Merrick is charging me ridiculous interest on THEIR OWN FEES. Im getting a monthly account fee as well as interest on multiple other fees. My limit is $700, and I pay $100 a month towards it, but its a perpetual cycle of fees and interest. Ive given Merrick almost $500 in the past four months and its just GONE. Gone from fees and interest and Im still over limit by $145. This is ridiculous, and Im honestly shocked companies like this are even legally allowed to operate like this. This is making zero mention of the fact that Merrick refused to double my line of credit because I was TWO HOURS late on a single payment. Merrick needs to do better. Simply put. Were sick of being nickel & dimed by predatory credit card companies.

      Worse credit card ever! It plainly says NO annual fees, No account set up fees and No processing fees but... on my very first statement, they charged me a $100 fee! I called and got the run around from a person who couldn't even speak English well enough to answer my questions! Even their website is so bad, there are times you can't log on to pay your bill!

      I have been with this company for quite a few years. According to their representatives there is no way to waive the monthly fee, not even allowing a pause as many other creditors allow. I will close this card as soon as I can. There is no ***** for the customer. Just constant charges.

      After receiving my statement on Feb 7, I made a payment. Evidently, their system thinks I made the payment BEFORE my statement was sent. NOW, I have a late fee, along with a much higher minimum payment.I called a few minutes ago (NO online features such as email or chat!!!) and I was told to call customer service in the morning (I am in ******** right now, so I will have to call back while I should be sleeping!!!). I will drop this credit card like a hot potato if they will not fix this.

      Worst card ever . Credit karma should be sued for recommending this garbage. They have 72 dollar annual fee , thing is they charged me the same annual fee this month feb 13 2025 then have the audacity to blame it on my bank and said I have to cancel it with my bank even though Merrick sent me an additional email saying they was going to charge me again this month. Why should I go to my bank when they know their policy and see the twice payment. Do not use this service.

      Issued me a 1099C !! I never have had a CC with them! I called them and they said it was from 21 years ago.. Couldn't even supply me with an address or info on this "CC". Have to wait ***** days for the fraud department to contact me. I made an appointment with my local *** office to report them and show them this fraud.

      i have received in the mail a1099c form from merrick bank and it was for debt discharged and interest. i have NEVER had a credit card with this bank EVER!!! i have been trying to contact them(many numbers) for almost a week straight and only got a hold of one person and when asked to speak with the fraud **** and she just chuckled and hung up on me. very very rude and unprofressional and still havent been able to geta hold of anyone else. i want this fraud credit card taken off my credit report and i want paperwork that i asked her about on phone showing any info on this so called card acct. this bank is very shady and very unprofessional in dealing with fraudulent credit cards in peoples name and needs to get this matter settled and fix their error of s******* up peoples credit and perhaps get some professionals in their bank who can actually deal with phone calls for fraud situations and check out what needs to be done. there have been numerous cases i have seen on here that have the same problem as i am having now and i want this case totally and thoroughly checked into and investigated and removed from my credit and name immediatley for fraud. never had anything with merrick bank and they dont want to send any info to me or even talk on phone just hang up.
