      I purchased furniture from American Signature in Bear DE. I was advised that using Progressive Lending would be helpful as they report to the Credit Bureaus since I didn’t have any credit of my own. So the furniture was delivered to my home on April 24, 2025. The sectional sofa I purchased would not fit down the steps to take to my family room so I sent it back but kept the other pieces of furniture which was a sofa and recliner. I went to Signature Furniture and couldn’t find anything else I liked. I called the store to request my refund. Apparently no one put that in the system. I received an email from Progressive. Called them advised them I had not found anything else I liked a,d they pa were to have refunded me. So I called American Signature Furniture and the woman told me she had just spoken to someone from Progressive and she would call them redo the paperwork so everything would be adjusted. Today they are trying to take the money out of my Band Account cfor All of the Furniture. I’ve been on hold for the past 20 minutes for a Supervisor. I intend on doing a Google review and contacting the news media about them’

      I filed a fraudulent dispute on 3/17/25. I am a victim of identity theft - someone purchased a couch through Progressive Leasing using my personal information, including my banking details. I was charged $1,200.00 and their investigation confirmed I was not liable. They are however not returning my money.

      I bought a mattress at Mattress Firm. It was never delivered. The order was canceled and now Mattress Firm and progressive are saying that the order isn’t canceled and they’regoing back-and-forth and nobody will cancel the order and give me my money back. It’s been over 10 days and they’re saying it could be up 4 to 6 weeks before I get my money back. I want my money back now. They are refusing to give me my money back.

      I was advised to use progressive leasing in a mattress purchase in August or September of 2024. The sales lady used the financing option as a way to push the sale. I was not disclosed thr hidden interest rates or penalties associated with this leasing option at the time of sale.

      I discovered later that my payments with progressive had ballooned and I now owe 2x the original sale price.

      I attempted to work with mattress firm on two separate occasions. Both times they said it was out of their hands and furthermore wouldn't accept the return of the leased mattress.

      I was charged 25$ sales tax each installment and am curious if this tax revenue was even accurately reported to the government/ irs?

      Mattress firm would not produce any paperwork regarding the lease application when requested to dispute the charges.

      Progressive leasing has been a defendant in a class action lawsuit which they lost for deceptive leasing practices and still continue the same sales practices with new consumers despite the court case being won against progressive.

      They are involved in predatory lending and do not disclose the risks of these financial instruments to their consumers despite knowing the harms and lawsuits.
