      This company is terrible, I purchased a product for $360 using Acima as a leasing service and now I'm stuck paying $800 dollars. I contacted customer support and they told me I have to pay it there's nothing I can do. I want my money back and I want this loan canceled but they will not do that for me. At the time of applying for the loan I was never notified about having to pay that much, they've trapped me. Do not use this service it is a scam.

      Negative 10 stars!!! This is a perfect example of why **** needs some legislators who will reign in these insane interest based companies that only make people get further in debt. The reality is they just don't care and their offer to make an early pay off is a joke. I just spoke to some human, and tried to make some type of arraignment as I am so done with dealing with these POS. That said, their pay off options were little to no help. I get constant harassing emails and yet, they still take money out of my account twice a month and I'm done with it. Also, the website balance it says I owe,$613 according to the ********************** I just spoke is actual according to him is over $900. I'm not paying for the owners boat, corvette or his mansion any longer.

      Horrible company to do business with. They are scamming people out of their money by charging way over what the merchandise is worth. Their doing this cause they know people are out here with bad or poor credit and at the mercy of such companies as this one. I will never ever do business with this company ever again and will let other people know .

      This is a ******it company. I just sat down and read my lease & find out for a 500 dollar ring, we are paying 600 in interest which is more than the ring itself. You are out here robbing people!

      I signed up with this company less than 8 hours ago. I tried to purchase an LED light. ******* the checkout process there was an contract error so I called Acima up. ****** told me to go ahead and try the order again. I did and there was another error AND my bank account was charged. I called them up ****** answered again. I told him of the troubles I was having again. This fool told me since the merchant I dealt with only had email that he couldn't verify the product wasn't ordered. WTF!!!! He suggested I email them. And say what ******, ***** took a payment for a product that didn't complete the check out process, you sound f**** dumb. I contacted my bank initiated a fraud claim. I won't be doing business with theses crooks. BTW if you want better results people submit a complaint to the *************************************

      I purchased some jewelry items and used the acima lime of credit that was offered. I was never told what the final amount would be. I expected some interest, however, the amount extra was over 50% more than the original cost of the items. I tried to contact customer service but when you call you can't get anyone. I randomly received a call from them and they said I could return the item to them but I would not get a refund. This company is a fraud and a scam. They are stealing people's money! They told my my agreement was canceled yet they continue to pull money from my account! What legitimate company does that?! They know they are wrong they just refuse to assist customers. Do NOT!!! I repeat, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! It's a SCAM!!

      I paid an account off and was told to me that I could do another lease and I didn't need it at the time. However I'm getting married the 15th of April and tried to use my lease option I was told and emailed and texted from them I could use and begging me to take can no longer be used because there was a bankruptcy discharged 10 months ago last year. I cant have a lease now but call Experian and apply again in 30 days. Really what can I do with a 10 month discharged bankruptcy??? If I was clear for a new lease why couldn't that be honored??? **************** ***** and don't like to look into anything at all. Very Very disappointed !!!!!!!! Sorry I gave you business the first time.

      I am being robbed. My glasses cost ****** I paid 300 in cash, ACIMA covered the balance of ******. Today I am finding out I have a balance of 900 dollars, I have already made 300 dollars in payments. Tell me how this is possible? The customer service ***** and no one is willing to help me. I will be literally paying $2000 for a pair of glasses. DO NOT USE THEM!! They are thieves.

      I leased some tires through this company. We had 90 days to pay off the balance in full same as cash. We had until 12/28/22 to pay off the balance. On 12/8/22 I went onto their app and saw the pay off balance to close the account. On their app i chose the payoff option and paid in full the amount the app said I owed. The account should have been paid and closed. Nope. They took my ******* dollars and instead of applying that to my balance and closing the account they instead held onto my money and just applied it to future monthly payments. That made me go past the 90 days. Didn't think anything of it since it was supposed to be paid off. Months later I notice charges on my account.I called their customer service line and all they did was tell me I didn't pay the full amount and went past 90 days. That's not true. If I go on your app and it says payoff amount 500 and I choose payoff and give you 500 that doesn't mean hold my money and keep the account open. I was told I still owed 800 but they could close the account that day for 500ish.Who in their right mind would see that they could payoff in full for 500 but instead pay 500 and want it applied to future payments instead so that it goes past 90 days? Why would I give you the payoff amount for a one time payment to be put on future charges? No one would do that. I wanted to pay the 90 day payoff amount instead they took my money and just applied that to the monthly payments. Then say I owe them 800 more.I tried explaining this to the customer care rep and all he kept saying was I missed a payment and owed the money.I put a stop payment on the account. I want the account closed. I did my part. I paid what I was supposed to within the time frame it was supposed to be paid. Due to their s**** up, not mine, it says I still owed money after 90 days.Acima, you can clearly see my intent when you look at my account. You've gotten more than your fair share of my money. Do the right thing. Close my account.

      I purchased ******* worth of jewelry from a store. I was unhappy with the products. One of the products was a watch. The hand on the watch that kept the seconds was skipping every other second and it was not keeping the correct date or time so I contacted Acima in ref to the stores no return policy. Acima told me that if I returned (all) the items to Acima I would receive a full refund and dismissal of the debt incurred. I packaged the items, took a photo before sealing the package, put the package in a sealed envelope at the post office, and also covered the package with an insurance policy for $******* in case it was lost, stolen or damaged. I was contacted by Acima a week later saying that they had received the package but that some of the items were missing. They told me that I was still responsible for the total cost of all the items purchased until I had sent in all the items and that they could send the items they received back to me. As of yet I do not have the products and am being held liable for the loan which continues to aquire interest on a daily basis. I have filed a complaint with the post master of that particular post office and will continue to follow up and/or elevate this matter against the at fault party (whoever it may be) judicially to whatever level necessary to gain resolution to this matter. I am thoroughly disgusted by the way people are being taken advantage of by opportunists and just overall dishonest people who are preying on the vulnerable in today's economy!Another thing that I want to inform everyone of is that if you miss a payment with Acima they will threaten you with repossession of the property you purchase through them even if it is your last and final payment!
