STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I leased a 2021 Santa Fe and paid a good deal extra for the windshield replacement warranty. I recently got a crack in my windshield and this dealership says they are not responsible because I leased the vehicle just before the dealership was sold to a new owner. They told me to contact the old ownership and then proceeded to give me the wrong email address. I finally got what appears to be the correct email address, but no one there will reply to my email. So one one is standing behind the warranty. I agree with the reviews below that we are victims of a shell game. Isn't it time for the State Attorney General to look into this dealership and the transaction in which the dealership changed ownership.

Time to let the BBB know because this dealer called to ask me to remove my ****** review. How about treating your customers like real people instead of commodities. Forcing your customers to pay $200 for nitrogen for tires is predatory in nature. $200 for wheel locks and these aren't options we had the choice to remove. Our original quote never had a window etching system included, they decided to add this afterwards which again, was not an option a customer could remove. Then we see it on the car and it is a sticker. That's right a sticker that can be peeled up. 2 stars because the people we worked with were nice, but predatory and not transparent the way pricing structure breaks down.

If you are interested in purchasing a Toyota, I suggest you try other dealerships in New Mexico before going to Larry H Miller American Toyota Albuquerque. While getting an oil change at this dealership we decided to look at a new RAV4 Hybrid. List price $42,169 for LX model (unfortunately we found this out later). The dealership had a new model returned with 50 miles on it. The salesman (********************* and ***************************) wanted us to pay $60,000 for the car initially. They would not show us the car's window sticker and gave us a useless printout of what the car included without price breakdown. Due to our lack of preparation, we overpaid. *** emphasized to us that this dealership always sold at the Manufacture Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), regrettably not this time. We contacted the dealerships Customer Relations Manager (***************************) and she initially said she could have easily pulled up the cars window sticker for us but was not asked. Later after talking to the salesmen, she claimed that since the car was officially used, they were not required to show me the window sticker or tell me what the car originally sold for 8 days earlier. This is the third car we purchased from this dealership, and we are happy with the RAV4 Hybrid, unfortunately not with the salesmen and their unscrupulous approach. Larry H Miller American Toyota Albuquerque is not a customer friendly dealership and if given the opportunity will not refrain from taking advantage of its customers.

**********************, Thank you for taking the time to leave our sales department a review in reference to pricing and MSRP concerns. Although you have been in contact with our Dealership and have been provided further breakdown of MSRP eligibility for New vehicles, Id like to get a further understanding of your experience with our Sales Team and our dealership. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience so I can further assess the situation and ensure your concerns have been addressed. -Hud ******, General Manager, ************

Our major concern is that the salesmen were not honest in dealing with us. While getting an oil change at this dealership we decided to look at a new RAV4 Hybrid. We were initially treated as if we were getting a new vehicle that was just returned with 50 miles on it. However, they were actually treating the RAV4 as a used vehicle and did not mention this to us. In our initial interaction ******* stated that Larry H Miller American Toyota takes pride in selling cars at ***** If they had told us they were instead treating the RAV4 as a used vehicle and could charge us a substantial markup, we could have bargained from the ***** We could also have asked more for our used car trade in (a 2018 Camry LX, 8000 miles) to compensate for their markup of the RAV4. Instead, they started by asking us for $60,000 for the vehicle and refused to show us the cars Window Sticker which the Customer Relations Representative, ******** later provided us one and a half months later, upon my request (MSRP $42,169). I do not know if the three salesmen who orchestrated this deal (**************************** and their sales manager ***************************) are representative of your entire sales force, but I did not expect this type of subterfuge from a well-respected dealership such as Larry H. Miller American Toyota.

If I could I would leave 0 stars. I took my truck in for a alternator replacement. When I got my truck back it is no longer drivable and out of 3 diagnostics that they ran and routine oil change maintenance. Only the last time I took in my truck complaining about my trucks condition I magically and all of the sudden need a new engine. That was never detected on all 3 diagnostics that were ran within a 2 month span and they magically found metal specs in my oil only after they changed it and now my only option is to change the engine they messed up. Oh I forgot to mention they are still trying to charge me full price. The only discount they took off were the parts that are still under warranty. But they think they are doing me a favor and trying to solve the situation by thinking customers are stupid. I should not have to pay for an engine your mechanics messed up in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They keep replacing things in my car that don't need to be replaced and charging a ton of money for it.

This place is the worst!!! I went in there to buy a truck back in April. They had my truck for a total of 10 days before June. I have had nothing but problems with it since I bought it. They replaced my transmission beginning of June (told me the previous owner replaced it in 2018. And now here I am having more issues. My truck started making weird noises, I lost my reverse, ****** fluid was low so we had to put more inno leaks, we can put it in park but it still moves. I want to get out of this mess that they put me in!!! I loved working with the sales manager because he tried to help out but the rest of the place is a joke!!!

2020, as I was looking for a newer 2017- 2018 van I was shown a 2007 they said just came in with less miles (83,000 ish) and detailed clean. It had some curious rust on the bottom of the door panels, trunk and side. What was really odd was the carpeting in the back was filthy but I just thought that would be easy to clean. It wasn't.
Mike Shaw nor ****** ever mentioned the rust or anything under the car except undercoating. I paid cash. Because of COVID I didn't put many miles on it. So, I didn't pay attention while it was parked.
I got a tune up, and maintenance. I took the car in to repair a leaky shock and they wouldn't work on it because of t all the rust. So then I start taking it to other repair shops. All said the same thing. Too much rust...If they start a repair the parts would fall off !
In the mean time, big chunks of metal are falling off the sides of the car. I saved some of them.
I take the van to another Chrysler Dealership only to find the RUST that I was warned about means the ROCKER PANELS AND FRAME are nearly gone! A $29,000 estimate !
How Could Mike Shaw and ****** MISS THIS?? Basically, I was sold a car without a FRAME ! Who ever thinks a dealership OR anyone would sell a car with dangerous structural problems !!
No one would buy a car with frame issues, except a Salvage Yard.. And, that info was never on the ****** report.
The only way a car has these kinds of problems is if it Sat in Water possibly by flood/ snow for a long, long time. It explains the carpeting, door panels and visible rust, everything.
The van's history -in 9 years it was only driven 25,000 miles. and in 2017 it was exempted from odometer reporting. So, this van sat somewhere for a reason?
Mike Shaw said they would call me back.HA! Nothing ! I've been dealing with this for over a year! Sorry, Mike Shaw...this is unthinkable and unacceptable. What are you waiting for? The car to break in half with me in it? Hurting /killing people? This is serious.

I recently traded in my car for a newer one and discovered, the hard way, that the A/C was not working. I got in touch with the salesman and after almost a day of waiting was told that they would not fix the problem, that all of their used cars were sold as is. Though I can understand that this may be usual business practice, I do think that their website should note this and that the specific problem with the car should have been disclosed before the sale was finalized. Under no circumstances will I ever go back to that business nor would I ever recommend them.
