  Glyde is a top company leading in the industry! They offer much more than I've seen with any other solar company. In house install, tier 1 equipment, home efficiency upgrades, as well as reputable tax preparation which gives more tax benefits than just the standard 30% tax credit. The employees that work for the company are a dependable, honest, professional group of people. You can count on Glyde to get the process from start to finish effectively and smoothly.

  Glyde is an amazing choice if you're looking for a solar company that takes care of customers the whole 9 yards. They offer services that improve the homes energy efficiency and help you save on not only electric, but gas too. I've never seen attention to detail like this in the solar industry! If you prepare your own taxes and choose to check them out ask about the tax package!! You'll get so much more back than if you did it through Turbo or H&R. 10/10!!

  Honestly a great all around choice for solar. I had solar with another large company on my previous home but went with Glyde because they do energy efficiency. My sales rep was not pushy at all and super educated on the process. I was pretty impressed throughout the whole process. There definitely will be negative reviews for all companies, which I took in consideration before moving forward, but I feel like they did a great job. They also have a pretty cool referral program and after my install I definitely did feel excited to refer a couple family members. Would recommend.

  The owner/sales person is Profits driven,don't care about the customer.Owner/sales person left out of the conversation critical info.that would have lead to a nosale if the customer ME would have been told.He came in asking about my present utility bill during the heat of the summer,and asked to see a copy of the bill then proceeded to say solar will reduce the bill to 266 per month without mentioning the cost of a system.He also mentioned that Cleco may have a buy back program and my system would produce more than I can use so Cleco will pay me.But he failed to mention I would need a battery to store the energy.This little knowledge I've gotten is only after the fact.The system has never produced as expected or as told.I was told several times that the govt.would pay 20/30 % of the cost and still no mention of the cost.I was told once I get the funds from the govt.don't keep it,pay the bank.I was told to contact a *** which I did and I had three days to decline the offer but work and life happened and by then when I heard back from the *** he said that the govt.will not send me any funds and that you will only get a tax credit and it will take 7years.By the time I got paperwork in the mail and saw where I had been declined for 84k I said for what?Then I read further where I had been approved for 70k.By then it was to late to decline.After several months and several different repair people they are telling me the system is working.but I'm still getting utility bills no reductions.I feel I was taken advantage off because of my lack of **************************** is no way at my age I would have taken on this amount of debt.I was told that the company would pay the bank until the system was running properly,that has never happened.I was also told that the system is fully covered but I noticed that I should contact the insurance company to ad more coverage.I can't afford more coverage I was also told that the company had there own roofing dept.If I needed any repairs.

  Glyde is an incredible solar company. One of the few solar installers in the ***************** that also offered in home energy efficiency upgrades. Not only do they provide solar but they also offer attic insulation, door blow test, attic fan and perfect power box. When ever researching solar companies and their reviews getting the system turned on is always one of the biggest hurdles. Glyde has this part of the process more dialed in than most other companies.

  I got solar panels from this company and got robbed of the tools i use for work when they installed the electrical part of the install .I reached out to the company and I told them what had happen and they told me they would address it right away. I talked to atleast 4 people and they all said they will take care of it right away but to give them some time to get all the tools and they will send them yo me . I was really grateful on how quick they responded. But it was all lies , a week went by then another . I reached out to them to see if everything was being done as I was told and the story changed now they wanted me to claim it on my home Insurance then the stop answering my calls . This company is not to be trusted .

  One frustration after another! Glyde Solar originally seemed great. Then the sales guy quit and it all went to h*** after that. The only way to ever get anything done is to either threaten to get an attorney or spend every minute of your day trying to track down answers. We had one salesperson who finally took over and has worked to get the system installed. Then there were permit problems with the electric company that seemed to be ignored by the installer, and as per protocol...until we threatened to cancel the whole thing nothing moved along. Finally, once things were permitted we received a call stating that the system was to be turned on and they would need our wi fi info. I was told that I would get a call when they were at the house, so then I could leave work and go home for some instructions and such. Of course...nothing happened. There are no delays in you getting your bill, of course. This has been a disaster. Very unprofessional company. We have been in this process for over a year now and we are still not up and running. We truly regret the decision to go with Glyde. Prepare to babysit them throughout the entire process. Keep notes of everyone you talk to, when you talked to them, and what they promise you. Have an attorney on retainer. Really, just go with someone else.

  Glyde is a lot different than other solar companies - they have a lot of ways to save energy while also switching the source of power generation. It takes awhile to get fully installed, but that's because there is so much red tape with the utility companies and government regs. It's worth the wait though!
