Very poor **** ******* understanding.Skeptical prescribing pain meds to patients in need of them. It seems like they are afraid of being monitored by the ****** specially nurse practitioners, like passing on a hot potato. Doctor's don't speak with patients over the phone, they use assistants as intermediates. Don't return calls leaving the patient in a wondering state. ******** repeated mistakes with referrals. Doctor's and nurse practitioners don't listen to patients needs, pretend they are specialists want a be's, prescribe meds out of their specialty and again, covering their ***** not wanting to prescribe Pain meds for those who really need them. I moved from one of their facilities to another because doctors don't stay long, constant turnover. I understand the reason why they hire nurse practitioners, the pay is lower. I'm Looking for a different primary doctor out of intermountain H*** care. Last words, don't let them intimidate you. Based on your previous experiences, tell them what you need not what they think. Your body is the one that feels, they don't feel your pain. .

Was in a severe motor vehicle accident, I was tboned by a semi, and could barely walk, and let's just say I'm currently in talks with a lawyer for malpractice, when I was seen by the ** doctor at makaydee hospital, all the doctor did was feel my stomach, and do an EKG and sent me home with Advil, the next day I couldn't even move and get out of my bed, I went to my pmc and my pmc did x-rays and ordered an MRI and CT scam, a week later all the results came back, and I had brain damage from my head hiting my car window, and 6 bulging spinal discs and nerve damage. Horrible healthcare system, and my car insurance company was fighting their billing department, cause they kept sending me bills, when my claim rep had already sent their payment. Worst heathcare system.

My husband went to *********** in **********. Insurance paid, then he paid but we cannot get a receipt to turn into our HSA. He had called many times and was told today that it still has not been sent. IH.c expects payment on time, but they sure drag their feet when it comes to giving us what we need. Completely unacceptable, and I am not surprised they have a low score on this sight. Problem is, they dont care about customers because they have a monopoly. I am going to write a letter to my congressman.

To request an itemized bill takes 14 business days by email which is absured. They bills do not come with CPT codes and you have to request something called a UBO4 to get CPT codes? IHC is a total nightmare. I avoid dealing with them at all costs

Over the past year, I have lost trust in the Highland Clinic. The amount of miscommunication between doctors, nurses, and front desk staff is astounding! I met with the office manager a couple weeks ago. I decided to try picking up paper scripts. But at the next interaction with staff at this office, I was given two identical scripts for one medicine instead of a script for each of two medicines I need. I accept part responsibility for not checking the scripts. WHY would they give me a duplicate, though??? Its also the one the pharmacy said was out of stock. The one they had, and I didnt need as badly, was in stock and I had no script for it. Just a second copy of the first. Unbelievable. Im looking for a new doctor. Not easy, but I afraid of getting more care here.

My doctor ordered an MRI in March 2022. I arrived at the hospital in American Fork and was told that I had to pay for the procedure in advance or they would not do it. I was charged $2757.54 and had the **** Two weeks later I received an EOB from my insurance that said that I should have been charged $1997.03, a difference of $760.51. I called IHC and told them what happened and they said a report would be filed and I would receive a reimbursement. Nothing happened so a month later I called again and was told the same thing. Again nothing happened. I called two more times and I was told the same thing and again nothing happened. Finally in early August I received a check in the mail for $610.49 -- which was $150.02 short. I called again and the agent told me a bunch of mumbo jumbo about who, what, and where which never did explain why the check was less than what I was supposed to receive, so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told that all the supervisors were busy talking to other people and wouldn't be able to talk to me for another 48 to 72 hours. Gee, I wonder if anyone will really call... Not likely.
