Scam! I bought a 60 watt street lamp from them about 6 months ago that worked for about a month and then stopped. It was supposed to have an unconditional warranty for 2 Years. When I contacted them to request a repair or replacement, they disconnected my call and blocked my phone number and email address. They are operating this fraudulent business from a cellphone and DO NOT honor any type of guarantee on the products that they sell.Initial Complaint

THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD! I PLACED AN ORDER ON MAY 27 FOR $194 AND CANCELED IT THE SAMED DAY. NO RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY THAT IS RUN BY A ONE MAN SHOW WITH SEVERAL BUSINESSES USING THE SAME MAILING ADDRESS.
THE NAME OF THE BUSINESS I PLACED THE ORDER WITH IS "HOME AND LIGHTING CO".
RIGHT AFTER PLACING THE ORDER AND CANCELLING IT I RECEIVED AN EMAIL SAYING THEY ARE SHIPPING THE ORDER THE SAME DAY. THAT WAS 3 WEEKS AGO. PLEASE READ THE NUMEROUS BAD REVIEWS AND COMPLAINTS FILED. MY CREDIT CARD HAS LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION AND NO RESPONSE FROM THE BUSINESS.Initial Complaint

12/21/2023. Ordered solar light. Received light charged for 2-days. Installed it worked ok for a week then started going dim a few hours after charging messaged company and a guy named Patrick said try a reset he asked me to do no change. Asked for a refund he said there was a large restocking fee. Said look at the return policy. Nothing on website or with light about. Ad says:100% no risk promise try out for 60 days no risk promise or money back ! Also states made in USA. Box has made in china. This guy lies and lies.Initial Complaint

Purchased a 60W light today (4/1/24) and discovered that the lights does not come with a mounting bracket. No where on their page, ad, picture of item, or item description does it say this. You have to go to Frequently Asked Questions to learn this. This is poor advertisement and shady business practice as they want you to buy bracket for almost as much as the light. I asked to have my ordered cancelled and they said I would be getting an email cancelling my order, which I have not received.Initial Complaint

I purchased two lights April 4, 2023 for $184.75. One of the lights works great...one has stopped working. I have left five phone messages over the past two weeks. No one returns my calls. I have tried emailing. Can't get the email to send to the given address.

I received some 60 watt solar lights from home and lighting company that do not work as described. I have tried the troubleshooting shooting method recommended by some guy identifying himself as Patrick. The troubleshooting did not work so I requested a refund. I have made several calls and corresponded several emails all with the same guy. I can never get anyone different. This guy answers each time you call or you get a voice mail. This has been a nightmare experience just in trying to get a refund. The website states a 60 day money back guarantee and I have had these lights only two weeks as it took so long to receive them that I canceled my credit card for fear of fraud. The ###-###-#### number that you dial has a fake menu. When you select an option it takes you back to original message. Please do not waste your money as I have. Please do your due diligence on this company before making a purchase. I found out this company has an F rating from the BBB of Utah and over a 100 complaints..most of which are unanswered. We purchased this product from this company ( Also doing business as " Home and Lighting" several months ago. We returned their product despite their extortion level return fees not properly disclosed on their website and obtained tracking info on the return. We confirmed it was received by them on 4/3 at the time indicated. Despite multiple emails and phone calls we have been unable to get the company to facilitate the return even though they now possess. the product. We paid to have the product shipped, and product was returned unopened in its original packaging. We are seeking a full refund to the payment method used for purchase.Initial Complaint

May 6, 2023, ordered the 60w Solar Street High Brightness 6000 Lumen, 3 plus 1 free, $233.70, plus 33.11 for 4 mounting post, after previously purchasing one unit for my home, which is impressive…The four is for my girlfriend’s home and 3 are working excellently since installation..However, one has not shown and sign of life, even after following the company’s fix of May 18. Since, numerous emails and left messages..Finally, I had a company representative, yesterday, I guess responded, broken English, berated me for sending photos of the in place light, in lieu of videos of allowing light to remain in full sunlight for 3 full days with light shut off, then covering light and switching on and placing on automatic setting…zero life..He disconnected..Initial Complaint

I ordered a solar light on-line. ********************************************************************************************************* The first time I ordered, it took me a while to test and set up the light. The light never worked, but since I called backed over 30 days later, they said I couldn't get my money back. I reluctantly bought another light in 2022. After about 6 months this light started malfunctioning. It would get very dim while on, and then it would turn bright again. It would go back and forth from dim to bright constantly. On the website they state: 1 Year Warranty and 30 Days Money Back Guarantee I tried calling multiple times before the 1 year warranty was up, and I emailed them to get the product fixed under warranty. Then, I finally got someone on the phone. The person hung up on me twice when I was trying to request the warranty.
