We purchased this product from this company ( Also doing business as " Home and Lighting" several months ago. We returned their product despite their extortion level return fees not properly disclosed on their website and obtained tracking info on the return. We confirmed it was received by them on 4/3 at the time indicated. Despite multiple emails and phone calls we have been unable to get the company to facilitate the return even though they now possess. the product. We paid to have the product shipped, and product was returned unopened in its original packaging. We are seeking a full refund to the payment method used for purchase.Initial Complaint

May 6, 2023, ordered the 60w Solar Street High Brightness 6000 Lumen, 3 plus 1 free, $233.70, plus 33.11 for 4 mounting post, after previously purchasing one unit for my home, which is impressive…The four is for my girlfriend’s home and 3 are working excellently since installation..However, one has not shown and sign of life, even after following the company’s fix of May 18. Since, numerous emails and left messages..Finally, I had a company representative, yesterday, I guess responded, broken English, berated me for sending photos of the in place light, in lieu of videos of allowing light to remain in full sunlight for 3 full days with light shut off, then covering light and switching on and placing on automatic setting…zero life..He disconnected..Initial Complaint

I ordered a solar light on-line. ********************************************************************************************************* The first time I ordered, it took me a while to test and set up the light. The light never worked, but since I called backed over 30 days later, they said I couldn't get my money back. I reluctantly bought another light in 2022. After about 6 months this light started malfunctioning. It would get very dim while on, and then it would turn bright again. It would go back and forth from dim to bright constantly. On the website they state: 1 Year Warranty and 30 Days Money Back Guarantee I tried calling multiple times before the 1 year warranty was up, and I emailed them to get the product fixed under warranty. Then, I finally got someone on the phone. The person hung up on me twice when I was trying to request the warranty.Initial Complaint

My mother (********* ****** **** ***** ***** Hamilton ohiod) placed an order with home and lighting in March of 2023 - the company supposedly shipped the package and it was delivered on 3/9/2023. But the package was never delivered. My mother was charged twice for the items ($247.45 & $245.95 for a total of $493.40). I have attached an image of the fed ex webpage showing the supposed delivery. My mother contacted the company right away and they have been giving her the run around for 1 month. I got involved on the 14th of April. Since then I have managed to get a hold of the company, they claim the were tracking down the package but hey never filed a claim. I have since filed a claim with Fed Ex on this issue. **********.

I purchased a 60w 6000 lumen solar lights from this company. I followed the directions on mounting and using the lights. They indeed came on but are so dim that they are useless. There is no way these are 6000 lumens. I tried to return them and they said I could but would have to pay shipping (which I figured) and $120 restocking fee. I got the runaround for about a week before they said they would allow me to return them. They also never gave me a RA number or directions to where to ship them to.Initial Complaint

I purchased 3 60w solar outdoor lights I spent approximately 200.00 in June of 2022. I am starting to have a problem with 2 of the lights one does not want to work and the other one just keeps blinking on and off. I tried calling the company 3 times within the last 2 weeks and emailed them 2x. Today 3/14/2023 I sent a message to customer service through their website. I didn't receive any response on any of my emails or phone calls. Also today I tried calling again and the response on the automated message was we cannot receive any phone calls from your area. I do like these lights they work great for what I use them for when they were working. All I am asking for is for them to honor their warranty. And make right what is wrong with these lights. I received an instruction booklet with the lights and followed the instructions to troubleshoot the problem with the light not working and it still doesn't work. Purchased two 6000 lumen solar street lights with mounting hardware on Feburary 8, 2022. Total cost $222.88 Order #*****. The lights worked for about 9 months then stopped working. I contacted customer support via email and they ask me to complete a "reset" procedure on both lights. The reset did NOT work and both lights are dead. I responded to customer support the "reset" procedure did not work. They stated; " it's been more than 30 days since you placed your order and received it in February 2022, and we can't process a replacement or a return at this point". The lights have a ONE YEAR WARRANTY as advertised on Home and Lighting website. Both lights failed within the 1 year period.
I am requesting Home and Lighting honor the One year warranty by a complete refund of $222.88 or replacement of the two failed solar lights.Initial Complaint

Purchased a 60W Solar Light in Dec. 12,2022 and received it on within a week. The price paid was $89.19 with free shipping. Followed the instruction manual on how to turn light on. Been having issues with it not coming on at dusk or sometimes not staying on all night. Even used the troubleshooting section to get the light to work properly. Also noticed the remote that came with it is different from the other 2 lights that were purchased a year ago and these lights work perfectly. No issues with them. Have been calling the number printed in the booklet and get nothing but a voicemail. Left a message and never received a call back. Sometimes calling twice a day. They say there is a 30 days money-back guarantee. After that they provide 1 year warranty for replacements in case it is needed. I purchased a solar light from them in November.
3 days after I got it stopped working.
They instructed me to reset it. It started working again. For about 3 days again. I reset it several times since climbing 25 ft in the air to reach this light. It has now stopped working.
This business will not stand behind it saying its been 30 days. It started failing 3 days after I got it.
