    I received a broken solar light. It is unusable. No one answered the customer service phone number, so I began communicating with Home and Lighting by email. During one of my first interactions, I was told that their customer service representative had to request an authorization okaying my return. Subsequently, I was told that the authorization was obtained, and I could obtain a replacement light by returning it at my expense. When I disputed having to pay return shipping on a broken light, the customer service representative said my request had to be okayed by a supervisor and that I would receive a follow up by the end of the day. Surprise, surprisesince then its been crickets from Home and *********, in spite of my numerous attempts to contact them for a status. Horrible customer service; good luck if you do business with them.

    They also sent me the lights without the brackets!Told me also $40 the bracket or $30 plus shipping to return!I offered to take them out to lunch, no response ??

    Horrible company. The light I ordered did not come with all parts shown in all of the literature photos and videos. They want to charge $30 for a return fee even though the site says "100% money back guarantee" and "No-risk purchase"What a bunch of scammers.

    Where should I start. This business is definitely a scam . I never received the 3 sets of light I ordered & a customer service representative stated the order was canceled & Ill be receiving a refund but weeks later I still havent & my calls are now screened as well as blocked from online chats. They basically took $459.85 from ******** done with me. My message to the company is one thing for sure whatever you do here on earth you have to also remember you will reap what you sow before you exit.

    This is a completely scam organization. My complaint is no different from the disappointments, disgust and sense of being violated voiced by others. Ordered 9 lights with 3 free for a total of 12 lights. 3 lights did not work right out of the box. Of the remaining 9, 7 llights just absolutely dont work, and 2 dont work as advertised. We received the lights and we informed these fraudsters that it would take us a few days to gather an electrician to mount the street lights on our development. The Electrician hired a lift and replaced the lights. When we complained about the defective lights we were asked to send in videos which we did. And then dead silence.So we complained to Paypal who reversed the charges. These cheats waited 2 months and recharged the account. We have disputed the charges yet again. Meanwhile we also challenged these cheats and question the re-charge to which the reply we received was the 7 day warranty ********.We have filed a complaint with the UT attorney General alleging dishonest practices, fraud, mail fraud and wire fraud. We will also be be suing for damages and costs. We have gathered 20 folks who have agreed to provide affadavits and include these folks in the complaint.Anybody reading this, please come join us in making certain these jerks are brought to task and take responsibility for their shady fraudulent business ethics.These folks are pure plain cheats. IN short this best describes them.

    This company is guilty of false and misleading ads ... they state lights will last all night long but fail to mention if its cloudy they don't 2 hrs is all I got after a week of testing ... they are also guilty of price gouging after buying and finding out the hard way the help basically admits they will not work all night if its cloudy type weather.. the return policy states "6 month money back guarantee" they fail to mention restock fees that take 60% of what you paid for them,.. that kind of policy will keep you from returning them when you find out the did not tell all of the truth about them.     This Company is an absolute scam. I ordered $422 worth of lights in 10/26, and paid with a credit card. I received an order confirmation immediately. On Friday, 10/28 I had not received any shipping information, so I tried calling, went straight to VM. I left a message, have never rec'd a call back. On 10/28, I also opened an on-line chat session with them. They said they had minor issues, but my lights would ship over the weekend. Received nothing form them over the weekend. Called them around noon to check into status, went straight to VM. Left a message. I then opened another chat session around 3pm, they stated that they've been having Fed-Ex issues since 9/25. They said issues are now resolved and I would receive an email with tracking information today - 11/1. Guess what - I received nothing! I opened another chat session, and they claim the product has now shipped and they would send me tracking info in a few days. I said Thanks, and asked if Fed-Ex actually had the lights - they have not responded to that, and now they are totally ignoring me. If you ****** the parent Co - Magnetic Rapture, it shows as Temporarily Closed. I have filed a dispute with my credit card *** hopefully I will get my money back. I also sent them an e-mail cancelling the order, and requesting a full refund, but they have not responded to that e-mail.

    11/4 - Update. Still claiming issues with Fed-Ex. Late on 11/1, I sent an email to them telling them to cancel my order. Edd - the **** stated he was sorry to hear I wanted to do this, but would process my request. I asked if that meant he was issuing a full refund - He has not responded to that e-mail. I have not seen a refund on my credit card.

    OMG, I also wish I had checked here before ordering one of their lights & a set of brackets! I placed the original orders (brackets & light) on 9/25 and confirmations received. After about 10 days, and no word, I tried calling, unable to reach a live person, so I left a message. On 10/5 I received an e-mail saying there was a warehouse delay but now backlogged orders were being shipped and a Fed ex tracking # and a **** tracking # were given to me. At this point I filed a dispute with my bank and they refunded my account and said they would research the dispute. On 10/10 I received and email from ******* (after I left another message) that he was checking on my orders. The tracking numbers, when I checked them, had been issued but no product delivered to the carriers. On 10/13 I received 2 separate e-mails stating my product had been shipped, with NEW tracking numbers. With this info I became excited, thinking I would get my product. NOT so. Got 2 SMALL boxes each only holding 1 discount card (exactly what the packing slip states!!!! This company is a SCAM and should be made to close their doors. I wonder if the Postmaster General can do anything about this??!!!

    They are operating under the name Home and Lighting on ********* It is the same company and address. I ordered a solar light on 9/5/2022. It was billed on 9/6/2022 . After one week, I called because they had not sent a shipping confirmation, so I felt the need to follow up. I was told it was a warehouse mixup or problem. And that they would followup with an email, in a few minutes. I verified the order #, my email address, shipping etc. This was on the 12th of September. The company, Home and Lighting, has a Delivery Policy posted on their website that states 3 - 6 day delivery. I have called them, at the number they provided, every day since the 12th of September. Either there is no answer or you get a voice mail that you can leave a message. I have left at least 2 messages, to no avail. No response. I had sent an email to the corporate office twice. Once through their website, and once via the BBB website. Still no response from the company. They do have a ******** page, but it does not allow comments, it is merely a portal to their website. Check it out for yourself before ordering. Do not be fooled by USA manufacturer or company. There is no comfort in that. Pass this along to anyone that might be thinking about doing business with them.
