      In April I signed up for Ridd Pest Control. this is a subscription service and a contract service both of which I don't do well with. I cancelled my service on 9/25/2024 and paid the 249 early cancellation fee. My pest control got worst with this company we couldn't use the backyard due to ants and mosquitos. My advice research before signing a contract with this company. This company charged my credit card without permission to do so.

      I wish I could give zero stars. A college age guy from this company walked into my backyard and looked around and then came to my front door and banged on the door for ten minutes straight. When I finally answered he would not take no for an answer. He kept asking me personal questions about myself, my daughter and my husband. I told him my husband wasnt home and he said can you call him right now? My husband in the military so no. But thats also none of his business. He tried forcing his way into my home and said my husband would be happy and love me more if I made this decision without him. There was so much more but there is literally a page in my community about this company and how to avoid them and make them leave and the cops have been called for harassment so many times. Im pretty sure its a human trafficking front at this point.

      I am disappointed with the service provided. Unfortunately, we are still dealing with pests in and out of our house despite the treatment. The initial assurance that the entire yard would be taken care of was not met. I have requested to terminate my contract without incurring any cancellation fees, as it's unfair for the customer to bear the cost of an ineffective solution. In comparison, I did not encounter this issue with *******, where the problem was resolved after one treatment.Next step if RIDD can't take ownership of their issue and cancel our service contract without having to pay a cancellation fee is the Federal Consumer Agency.No star review

      I will not renew this service. They signed my name and told me i cannot cancel. BEWARE of this company.They have charged me for 2 months after i canceled my account. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      This is scam company that overcharges for poor service. I tried to cancel the service a week after their first visit because no bugs were killed and a monthly fee that absurd for not even coming to your home to do anything. I sent three emails to cancel and their website says they except emails but when you talk to them they say they dont. I was trying to cancel and pay the absurd $249 cancellation which I had no problem with but the sent me a bill for $392 because it was one day into the new month and they claim I owed them for the entire month. Their so called managers wont work with you, just charge you money and dont care.

      I would give a zero if possible. Do not fall for any promises from this company! A young man sold me on promises of what this company could do with insects. The plan was cancelable at any time if not satisfied. Ridd Pest tech came out the first time and sprayed a few sprays inside but wasn't at our home long enough to de-web spider webs or really spray as promised, I talked to ****** in their customer service on 06/24/2024 and requested the account be cancelled. He asked to let another tech come back and spray again and de-web for a month and a half free to do the job the first tech did not do. I advised ok but I still want to cancel the account. The second tech did a good job of doing what was promised but still have the insects and spider webs. The account was not canceled and I have been billed again. I sent **** an email showing my conversation with ****** but I was told to call again to get the account canceled to stop the billing. I am getting a complete run around from this company. I am a 80 year old woman who fell for a lot of promises which did not materialize but I do not quit when I fill lied to. I worked in **************** too many years to be naive. STAY away from this company.

      A , *** , **** p. c . in late June 2024, the sales rep. told me about their service , I ask about different bugs , and decided to get the service, he said it would be $99. per month and would be deducted on june 24th . Also I would be serviced before the 24th , on the 20th I was charged $103.00 and no service, so I called the ***** number , the answer was as for the early charge they had to make sure I had a bank account , which they had used it to get the $99. to get the account started ( which I didn't like that answer ! ) . SO, I ask the $103. instead of $99. he said it was a charge to use the bank , which they insisted me to use .

      **** got us to sign a 1 year contract. Promising that they can get rid of all insects in and outside our home. Promising that the service will not need to be done more then once every 2 minths or so. They must be diluting the solution very thin. After the service the insects are gone for about a week. Then the patio and the front porch is infested again. They cleared the wasp nest over the entry door but never removed the remains of the nest from the ground under the area wher the nest was. They do not provide the service they promis. For that they are in breach of contract. And we would like to have the contract canceled. But **** representative told us that we have to pay a penalty to have it canceled even if they are in breach of contract. Not only do we want the contract canceled but also we would like to get a full reimbursement for the service we were promised and never received.

      This company had a sales rep come to my home and promise me that I can try the services out and can cancel at any time with no fee. I explained that I was with Terminx and the rep ******* stated that they could be the price and if I don't like the service or the service does not work then I would be able to cancel any time. In the beginning of June this company Took out over $400 out of my bank account and said they don't know what the reason was though could only give me a month of free service and credit all the charges back. Due to the credit taking 3-5 days to return to my account there were charges of over draft and return check fees that were charged. The didn't take responsibility for those charges even though they are the reason for the error in the first place in my account. When talking to rep **** on the phone he stated that I would have to pay $249 for cancelation when I informed him that I was advised I was told there was no fee. I called ******* the sales rep on the phone and he stated he would call on my behalf because he did advised me of that. When I called the company back to cancel after getting a text message saying I can cancel the next rep laughed and said that ******* did call and that he didn't back me up as a customer and didn't provide me with that information. If this company can have people lie and cheat their way I to services this service should not be offered. The poor customer service and the lies to get a sale is unacceptable and this company needs to be stopped before they can do this with another person who can not help themselves. I have already told the company I don't want their services and they refuse to cancel.

      Solicitor (****) chose to ignore the No Soliciting sign and rang the doorbell AND knocked. When I opened the door, he started asking about if we have pest control service. I just pointed to the sign and closed the door. This is ridiculous.
