      Teach your sales people what NO SOLICITATION means. Very impressive going door to door on a kids scooter. Idiots

      I tried to give them zero stars but the app wouldnt allow that.One of their representatives came to my door at twilight. He starts by asking if i own the house in which i live. I asked him why he needed to know that. He starts asking me about pests around my house. I told him I had "a guy" and I wasn't interested. He kept talking even when I closed the storm door. I opened the the door and told him to get off of my porch. He starts being a real "smart-***". He gets on his hoverboard and just stands there running his mouth. I came out and told him to get off of my property. He starts riding off being a "smart-***" the whole time.Judging from my experience and the reports here, one would be stupid to have any dealings with this outfit.

      Last evening (4-18-24), a door to door salesperson from Ridd Pest control rang my doorbell and wanted to discuss the service I already with them. Along the way he offers a new service to spray for mosquitos, ticks, fleas and no see ums. I expressed concern about spraying chemicals on my property due to the abundant wildlife, including green frogs and lizards, bees, butterflies etc. To address my concern about toxic chemicals, the salesperson specifically said not toxic and that the spray was some sort of organic substance that works differently than chemicals and that it is completely safe to the animals I was concerned about. I agreed. The application occurred on 4-19-24 and paper left by the Ridd employee had the name of the chemical applied - Gamma-cyhalothrin. A little research revealed the following in a summary of an analysis: "It is highly toxic to honeybees and many aquatic organisms and moderately toxic to birds and earthworms." I called Ridd, got a helpful account manager who was sympathic, gave me a credit for the service and promised to discipline the sales person for his deception and untruthfulness. To my question about toxicity, he should have said 'YES, BUT it is diluted blah, blah, blah. Not no, it is not toxic.'

      Been using RIDD for a year and a half now. Best company I have used yet! They will always come back for free if I need anything extra. The technicians are always willing to go above a beyond to make sure Im satisfied. Not sure what people on here are saying. The majority of reviews are on *******

      Worst company out there...Will not fulfill contract as stated Inexperience people that don't know what they are doing Canceled for this reason, they still try to charge cancellation fees Complete rip off and scammers

      If you want pest control beware of companies like RIDD. They don't train to take care of customers and get upset at you as a customer for being upset. The area supervisor gets mad at me for complaining of their poor service. I've had 4 instances of the technicians not coming or leaving too early and now want to charge me extra for a flea service after everything they did. If I had the power I would tell everyone I can to steer away from this people. When you call to cancel you have to speak to the area supervisor and there is no other way. He hung up on my face for being upset at their service. I called back and I am now stuck because no one is calling me to cancel my service. So the BBB will know about this. I have to help others not fall into this trap.

      DO NOT USE! After 2 full services and a call back service, I was still seeing ants and spiders. This was the main reason I signed up for this service. They refuse to cancel my contract without charging me the cancelation fee. But expected me to continue service that was not effective and still pay for another company to come and do the job they could not. I understand the contract, but if the contract is breached because of RIDD not honoring the guarantee, I am sure I should be the one eating the cost. Very disappointed.

      The biggest scam company in today's history! Preys on the Elderly. Insists on a blank check, sends you a copy of an agreement and takes money out of your bank account EVEN when you don't receive services. Refuses to cancel no matter how many calls you make telling them to do so.Insensitive and the service they give is fake anti bug control. Should be reported.

      I signed up for a monthly contract with RIDD as I was having an increase in spiders and palmetto bugs inside and outside of my home. The sales guy told me that Saturdays would be no problem as I am not home during their hours of operation during the week. So I locked myself in a contract thinking that they would be there Saturdays so they could spray inside, since they were doing lawn extractions. I would have never signed up had I known they aren't always available on Saturdays because you see, I was never told that! They started coming on Wednesdays when I wasn't home and only treating the outside of my home and I started noticing an alarming increase in very much alive palmetto bugs in my house, so much so I had to leave and stay with my parents until i could get someone out to treat the inside. I called and complained about this and asked to cancel my contract. The account manager had zero cares about the increase in insect activity, all he cared about was getting my payment and getting the 200 something dollars to cancel my contract. He offered no solution what so ever. I'm livid. I had to pay for another service to come out and treat the live bugs that came into my home after the lawn extraction when I specifically asked them not to do unless the Inside was treated as well, which by the way is what i was paying for (outside AND inside). Then I had to go to bug depot and dump a bunch of money there for PREVENTATIVE treatments, which by the way worked WONDERS. Again, no real solutions were offered, just "how do you want to pay your balance and cancelation fee". And he was quite cocky as well, occasionally interrupting me and saying "ANYWAYS". Very unprofessional.
