We moved to ******* in May full time. I looked into solar for our house before moving from *****. I did not think it would be cost effective to install enough solar to pay for all of our electric usage. The team from Lumio came to the house and presented a plan that would be more than enough to take care of our power needs and it is very affordable. We are excited to be energy independent and to get the system installed.Lumio

This company has serious internal communication issues between teams and will waste your time. I signed a contract in March of 2023 and am still waiting for them to complete city inspections and close out the agreement with my utility. After months of delays they finally completed the installation in October 2023. Since then they've failed to coordinate an inspection on four separate occasions. The first three times they scheduled an inspection they never even showed up or bothered to call. I later learn that the inspections had been cancelled. Imagine staying home from work to be here for an inspection and then never having anyone show or bother to call that the inspection was cancelled. Today was another inspection and finally their tech showed up. Once the inspector arrived it turned out the tech had the wrong paperwork and called for the wrong type of inspection. Utter incompetence. I had complained about the delays in July and requested they pay my monthly solar finance bill until the project was complete. They did agree to this, however, they have not followed through. I've been paying a monthly bill since June and have yet to receive a reimbursement. I very much regret signing up with Lumio!Lumio

Subject: Disappointing Experience with Lumio Solar I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I have received since the installation of your solar panels. Initially impressed with the responsive Lumio representative, my experience took a downturn when issues arose post-installation.The solar panels, operational since June 2023, have led to consistently high electricity bills. Attempts to contact the representative proved futile, and the customer service team provided conflicting explanations. Moreover, suggestions to deal with the issue independently, including purchasing additional equipment not mentioned during the sales process, left me dissatisfied.Escalating the matter resulted in a transfer to the Lumio Audit team, who advised hiring an electrician at my own expense to identify increased electricity consumption. This is unacceptable, as issues post-installation should be Lumio's responsibility to resolve.The lack of support and the statement that it is not Lumio's job to assist further compound the issue. This level of service falls below expectations.Before solar panel installation, my average electricity usage from the utility company was around 600kWh. Post-installation, combined usage from both solar production and the utility company increased inexplicably to 1100kWh. Sending back around 200kWh monthly to the utility company adds to the confusion. When I reached out to my *************** to ask how much I stored, they said it was Zero!Despite a substantial payment for the solar panels, the lack of benefits and an increase in insurance costs are disappointing. I expected more from Lumio Solar.In conclusion, I urge Lumio Solar to promptly address these concerns. I hope for a resolution that aligns with the high standards I initially associated with your company.Lumio

Be aware people, do not sign any contract with Lumio!!!!!!! We signed our contract on June 6, 2023 and today, January 22, **** our system is still inoperable. They keep on bouncing your account to different manager, that way when you call to inquire any status, nobody can take responsibility for the account because it was passed on to someone else.Our panels were installed on September 8, 2023. The *** panel was finally installed on January 8, **** after numerous calls and email to CEO ******************************* BUT it didnt pass the final inspection. We were scheduled today, Monday January 22, ****, for one of their contractor electrician to come between 10AM and 12PM. He never showed up. We received an email around 2PM stating we were rescheduled with the same contractor on Friday January 26.Story short, 8 months after signing the contract and the solar is still not running.They just want to **** you in but after that, they dont give a c*** about you, about your emails, phone calls or time. They are getting too big and too busy to have a good customer service.I would never recommend ********************** Solar to anyonedo yourself a favor people, hire some ****************** who care about their customers.Lumio

Just got installed a few months ago and absolutely love it! only decided to look into it because they kept knocking on our door, so we sat for the free report and we werent disappointed. they explained everything so well and they answered every question thoroughly. got a few quotes from other companies but between the knowledge and customer service we ended up with **********************. still have a small bill right now while waiting for the system to build credits but they told us it would happen. very upfront and personable people!Lumio
