    Enjoyed working with my sales person, who was always responsive to my questions and stayed with me throughout the process. They worked with me to schedule the panel installation after my roofing project was completed. The panel installation had a great team -professional, positive, (fun) and knowledgeable. Educating us along the way. Big glitch with me was the online signing of all the documents the energy company required...I was supposed to sign my name but was only given numbers as a signature. That really held up the process until the energy company called Ambia to help me learn how to properly sign their connection documents. Somebody fixed it so now the electrical panel replacement and hookup can take place. It happened after the holidays, on the freezing cold windy day. The worker had to keep warming up his hands in order to keep working, requiring him to acquire a light to work into the night to get the electricity restored to the house. He didn't pass inspection but really gave his all to serve us. Ambia hired a local electrician to complete the process and to continue to work for Ambia. Grateful that you spread some of the jobs to our area. All is working and now I'll see if I made a wise investment.

    We've considered getting solar on our home for many years. AMBIA's team has been responsive and helpful in designing a solution that will look good on our home, and help offset our energy bill and carbon footprint. Our particular design is quite complex and their team has been very helpful working with our city to get approval for ground mounts and batteries. Best experience with a contractor we've had on our home!

    Ambia has been a nightmare to work with. They were quick to install, however, it took them 3 months and way too many phone calls to get the panels turned on. I missed so much sun because of Ambias delays which would have helped offset my electric bill in the winter. Im now sitting in the winter paying for the panel loan on top of my normal electric bill because the sun isnt out enough to affect my bill. On top of that, Ambia drilled a 3 hole through my siding because they measured wrong and have yet to repair it. Its been over 5 months since installation. Nothing but excuses and headaches. I cannot explain enough how awful my experience with Ambia has been. I wish I had read BBB reviews before signing up with Ambia. I absolutely regret this decision.

    We had our solar installed last summer. We are still not able to use it. When we call company the supervisors are always in a meeting and the person that answers the phone always says they will call us back. Nothing. Their customer service is horrible and I would not recommend them to anyone.

    The installation of my solar panels went well that was back in August 2023 but Im waiting on Some fixes to be done Ambia has issues with communication techs dont show up when theyre Supposed and no one calls.

    Pros:-Installers are nice, knowledgeable and willing to work with you.-Install work was done well. Cons:-Not communicative with you.-Last minute changes on day of install I was not aware of.-Office lacks ability to communicate between departments.-Customer support does not have vital information available to them, I.E. contact info for department managers.-I had to be the one calling to make sure things got done. The experience I had with employees directly was good. However, there seems to be issues in the way the company is structured making communication difficult. If these issues are able to be resolved, I can say that they will do a great job. The end product was excellent, I just wish the process of getting there was smoother. The Solarado install team and their electricians did a quick and good job installing the panels.

    The installation was complete 24 August 2023. I've since been ghosted in my calls and correspondence.I have been calling weekly and always assured of action taken on the approval and commissioning of the roof solar system... that ends up having been installed without proper approvals, permitting or inspection. No action has been taken. Phone calls have not been returned. Emails have gone without reply.I do not recommend doing business with this company. Their word means nothing.

    It has been a full year since my panels were installed. This has been an insane experience. We have been ghosted by several different "customer service" people. The original installer (not Ambia) screwed up the install and promptly went out of business. After many failed attempts Ambia contracted a new installer....the Ambia folks were still **** When Everbright (finance people who as far as I can tell are not associated with Ambia. I have been on hold for about 30 min since I started writing this review and will stay on hold until a human actually answers my call. I am looking for a phone # that I can use if I need any assistance in the future. Just got an answer from Ambia (*****) who acknowledged the many problems that we had this year. My wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about the time that we started with Ambia. My goal was to have electric generating before she dies....and thru some miracle we have done that with much difficulty. Ambia sadly jumped into the solar business because of the generous credit we received. They just don't have the experience that is needed to truly be a "good" solar provider.

    NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD. But I have to chose 1. Do not hire this company, I repeat, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! They lie, cheat, and harass. AND, they don't complete the project!!!!! I was told I would be saving long before my first payment was due, NOT THE ********* Five months since install, almost 6, NO SAVING A **** *****. Now I have a payment due January that I cannot afford because I am NOT saving on electricity. WHAT A BS COMPANY, and I am being nice!!!!! I have PROOF of the tall tales and lies. They simply won't admit they **** and can't do their job!!!!
