1 starI was approached by a young man the in of July 2024 about Fox Pest Control company and what services they had to offer. He said that he could offer me a deal since he was in the neighborhood and had given the people across the street the same services for over $300 for the first visit. He said he would only charge me $107. Then after that I would receive services quarterly for the next year and that charge would be around $60. Since this time I have had a monthly withdrawal from my checking account for $58.85. I have emailed them now several times about terminating the contract. All I get is the run ************ I got a call from a ******* TX phone number telling me that they will be at my house in 15 minutes. No call prior to arrange the appointment. When I call the number back the man was on the rude side, telling me to call the office.I have again emailed the company to cancel their services, feeling that this was a bait and switch or some kind of scam/ dishonest business practice for not fully disclosing the finanical responsibility. This company needs to address my request to end this contract, for fraud.Review fromBill C

Wish I did more research before signing the contract. First time service, they came at the wrong time. Our cats were outside and it specifically says to keep animals indoor. And the plan was to get them inside once I was home which is why I scheduled the service for the time I did. So that I could be home and point out the problematic areas and the animals would be safely inside. Since that didnt happen, a lot of areas were missed and someone had to come out again. As first time parents (partner was visibly pregnant when sales person came to chat), we felt we were making a good choice. Im not sold on the effectiveness of the product. We have more ant hills then ever. If it wasnt for the expensive cancellation fees, we would have cancelled.Fox Pest Control HQ

The *** salesman showed up at my house 4th of July week while we were preparing our boat to leave for vacation. He even said, "I can see that you are busy so I won't take too much of your time". I guess by that he meant he was going to leave out some pertinent details. He told us the up front fee was $180. He said they sprayed every quarter and it was $60 a month. I SPECIFICALLY asked if we weren't being charged until the next quarter and he said we weren't. I made a point of asking. He never told us that there was a $250 cancellation fee and never told us we had 3 days to cancel. Like I said, we were preparing to go on vacation so we did not read the contract within the 3 days. He should have been upfront with that info and told us that ahead of time. We have been in contact with Fox. We spoke to someone initially who gave a message to someone to call us. We explained to her (I think she must have been customer service) what happened. The person that called, called when we were in ******* for a funeral and we had not been able to get back in touch with him. So, without speaking to us, they cancelled our service and charged us $250! I had reached out again through email and asked for a phone call and someone finally called. The person who called my boyfriend was rude and basically said he wasn't here to know what the representative said to us. It seems to me that he thinks we're making it up. And also said that they did nothing wrong, it was in the contract and we signed it. So in conclusion, we paid $180 for the initial fee and they sprayed that day. $60 the following month and $250 for the cancellation. This was an expense we did not anticipate after paying to travel for a funeral and some health issues. I wanted the unexpected charges of $310 refunded. The $180 is what we had planned to pay, but we were not anticipating the $60 to begin until October, which would've been the next quarter. Their customer service could also be improved.Fox Pest Control HQ

If I could do 1 star I would. This Mormon owned company (based in ****) recruits gullible college kids who basically work for no pay with the empty promise of getting rich from an MLM pyramid scheme and commission from pesticide sales. It requires walking from door to door and canvas of neighborhoods using gorilla marketing tactics. The kids actually have to pay the company to use required equipment, pay their own taxes, housing and travel expenses on their own. If they quit early in summer then they have to pay Fox and return earnings. Read the fine print kids, do not sign their contract!Fox Pest Control HQ

I have used Fox Pest control for a few years at two of my properties... I had a problem with moles or voles so they put out traps. The tech they send stepped on a retaining wall and knocked a very large retaining wall stone out from it position onto my stone driveway . They sent some people over to fix it back in place however, they did not put it back properly and the stone fell back onto the stone driveway that day. I called several times for them to come back and fix it as it is far too heavy for two people to lift. I was finally told by a secretary that the manager said they came out as a one time curtesy and would not be back to fix it properly.. CURTESY ???? They caused the damage but refused to replace it back properly... sad.. I also hired them to spray a retaining wall for bees. I was charged but the bees are still there the next day.I always spoke highly of the *********** but lately, I wonder if they have a new management team that does not understand customer service.Fox Pest Control HQ

1 starI purchased a pest control service from Fox Pest Control. They are a national company. I didn't pay attention to how much this service was going to cost me. After I added up what the cost of the 2-year contract would be, I realized I didn't want it. It is way too expensive for me. The contract says I can cancel early if I pay a $250 early termination fee. That is cheaper than what I would pay if I didn't cancel the service. I called yesterday and was told protocol is I have to speak to a supervisor but none was available. I was told someone would call me in 24 hours. That was Friday. Today I attempted to cancel again. Now I am told I have to wait until Monday to speak to a supervisor. I imagine the supervisor is supposed to try to convince me to keep the service. Not going to happen. I should be able to just pay the $250 and cancel. This company makes it extremely difficult to get rid of them. I would never use them again.Review fromJacqueline D

I was very disappointed in Fox pest control. I had contracted for an additional service at the tune of ******* which I paid in full. Then they turned around and charged me monthly installment for the monies that I just paid in full to the tune of $212. This new service was in addition to my monthly subscription of $70. The gentleman did not do as they said they would they did not provide the materials as they said they would. I was very very very disappointed. I did cancel my membership. They waved the cancellation fee for the monthly the subscription after some back and forth with a young lady named *****. And then a young man named ***** refunded the cost of the $212 and change and have the cost of the additional service. But I am now of the opinion based on the customer service in my paying my bill dutifully over the last year or so that my money should be refunded in totality for the additional service. They did provide me with half of the refund which was $1,010.32. however they should have refunded my entire monies which they did not offer. So I would feel like my refund. It was just an atrocious situation and it could have been managed much better. It could have been explained much better and the service of the end instead of just basically throwing me some items to what I feel was to shut me up they should have done better.Fox Pest Control HQ

They said they will offer treatment for 49 dollars per month but they kept collecting ************************************************************************************************************************************************** my house.i kept calling them several times to cancel subscription but they kept charging money even though i called them several times. Then their so called manager left me a message that cancellation fees is 240 dollars .I called them again this morning and whoever picked up a phone said that their company has no services to offer for scorpions elimination. But i hired them initially for that purpose in last November.i think their whole focus is to get customers and then keep charging money instead of focusing on any services they provide..I am very disappointed.Fox Pest Control HQ

I was approached by a young student salesmen who sat and discussed their services with me. Being elderly and both compassionate for this young salesman and on a fixed income I weighed in on compassion and with the thoughts of removing potential pests. This young man assured me I could cancel the contract at anytime so there was nothing to lose. I paid the intial $150 fee and the very nice and informative tech came to house a few days later and performed his service. One month later I received a $59 membership fee deduction from my credit card. It was at that time I realized I could not afford that deduction on a monthly basis. My call to the customer service person resulted in either a $250 cancellation fee or continued service. My good nature, trust in someones word combined with my failure to read the fine print has resulted in an expanse burden that hurts my survival. Im just looking to end this contract without any further expense.Fox Pest Control HQ
