I bought a Jeep Renegade from Tim Dahle Nissan in Murray on May 31, 2024. Just seven days later, I brought it back because the air conditioning wasnt working. Its a major system issue that shouldve been addressed from the start.I also paid for an extended warranty to protect myself from repairs like this and trusted that I was *********** the dealership has had my car since July 3rd, and Ive just been told the repair will cost me nearly $2,000 with no help from the warranty or the dealership. I never would have agreed to the repair if I knew Id be stuck with the full cost. @Tim Dahle Nissan ?? Why wasnt this covered??? Why wasnt I told upfront that Id be on the hook for it??? Why are you leaving a loyal, ********** customer without transportation and a $2k bill?

Business is advertising a great price on a used EV that they claim meets the requirements to be sold with the Used Clean EV Tax Credit. I attempted to buy the car, I was even told verbally that they know what they are doing and if they do not meet the requirements of the tax credit, they would be liable. Thanks to the magic of AI, I was able to verify that they were not being honest, they were trying to charge me $1700 for a rear light that flashes when you press the brakes, I tried to reject this fee from the start but they said I needed it so they could make a profit, otherwise they lose money. This is not mandatory by law and is actually a violation of local statutes, meaning I would get fined if I have it on my car and drive in my state. I was also told to pay Utah taxes despite registering the vehicle in another state, but they assured me the rate was correct.I completed the sales contract then verified that they were not being truthful to me the next day. We went to the local *** and verified that the local sales tax for a used car is 4% and that the rear light addition was in violation. I also verified with my tax preparer that the contract they gave me was a violation of the Used Clean EV Tax Credit and that I would be personally liable for paying back the tax credit plus interest.I am a very well qualified and motivated buyer, I was prepared to take ownership of the vehicle if they were willing to sell it to me as advertised. Be aware that they are not being honest with buyers, get information in writing, all of the details!!! I was notified today that when I asked them to remove the rear light and confirm that the vehicle as priced meets the Clean EV Tax Credit, and that they should not be charging me more than 4% sales tax that they are cancelling my contract. I literally just wanted to buy the car as advertised. What a waste of time and how annoying that they ran my credit based on false information. Beware!!! They also take a long time to reply.

There is nothing good I can say about the experience we had. The vehicle we wanted was listed online with no indication that the price was "with Dealer Financing". It was nowhere on their ad, nowhere on the listing with AutoTrader, CarGurus, or ********. But when we sat down to make the deal, they came with a cash price that was over $2K more than the listed price. We declined and I came home and did my research. First thing next morning ** (claiming to be the "General Sales Manager" wanted to know if he could do anything to change our minds, I told him to sell me the truck we wanted for the cash price we could afford. He said he had to check with the sales team to see if they could get the price down - this didn't make much sense to me since you would think that the "General Sales Manager" would be over the "Sales Team" - but what do I know? Regardless, I said fine, he said he was "actively" working on it. So throughout the day I kept checking, he kept saying he was working on it, but in truth he was just stringing me along until 6:35pm when he said that there is nothing he could do - I showed him that their add made no indication that the price was contingent on financing, but then he just played stupid (maybe he wasn't playing - but again, what do I know?). Turns out, as he was stringing me along, they sold the truck out from under me. This is not only unethical, it is by legal definition a breach of contract and a violation of fair dealing laws. If I actually gave a ****, I would sue them, but they are not worth it and we ended up finding a better option at ************. Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere, the so-called "Forever Warranty" is not worth their B.S.

Where to start, i went here to buy a new rogue, was shown a Pathfinder that fit my tall son better, online it showed $37590 with dealer financing and discounts, with excellent credit I qualified for 2.99apr, **** brought a paper showing payments of $960, i said what are you adding on there, this isn't right, i don't want the warranty, windshield warranty, gap and any other c*** you added, he then came back with an offer with a monthly price of $873 or something like that, i said, show me what you're adding because it makes no sense, they finally said they can't give you the rebates if you want low apr, it's either or, he then came back with an offer of $573, i went to look at the car the next day and it had hard water marks everywhere as if it was parked under a sprinkler, the inside had black fizzles everywhere, it was so dirty, **** said for about $300 you can have someone detail it, why would I pay for that when buying a new car? I have a fraud alert on my credit report so they said i had to verify my identity, i called Nissan to do that and they were closed, 10 min late a guy calls saying they're from nissan and needed to hear me verify my ssn, i refused and he yelled at me, i hung up. I think they might be selling customers info to scammers!! I went to **** ***** instead and it showed my car that I never traded in, had been listed for sale at *** dahle, they also reported for sale worth carfax, they use that tactic to apply pressure so you go back and end up buying something there. They like to lie and add hidden things on their contacts without showing you. If you go here, prepare to be scammed. Shame on you *** dahle!! That "free" forever warranty is not FREE, they just hide it.

They sold a used car that didn't even make it home before it ran hot. I took it to 2 different shops and they both told me the car was worthless. I tried to take it back and the sales manager told me a could get $300 for it from a junk yard and they would even come tow the car off. The only way they would even do anything was to take the money I owed on the car and add it into another car. For that price I could've bought a new car. Not only that, they out in the title application that there was a lean on the car and there is not. I got a signature loan from my credit union. Now I'm having a hard time getting the title to the car.

I have to say, when I read these 1 star reviews, I was like yeah no way. After going and experiencing it, it’s 100% on point. Fortunately I didn’t get the deal or car I wanted but i’m the end, they still owe me $$. Yeah, i’ll get it back, but they’re just claiming the the refund is coming up as an error with my bank. Yeah so shady. I have to say, my salesman is the ONLY zone that is straight forward and honest with me. I feel bad that he is associated with this group. I know he can do and get better than this company. Shame on Tim Dahle for having your team be SO inconvenienced.

They sold me an extended warranty that I did not ask for nor did I even want. I tried the next day to cancel and it’s been almost a week and the finance guy there named Garrett refused to cancel the warranty.

I haven't bought a car in quite a while, due to an unfortunate situation I was in the market. I was told to go to Tim Dahle for the lifetime warranty. So that's where I went. They said the lifetime warranty is "free" however, they charge $1900 at closing to make sure "it's good to go." They also sold me on a 5 year warranty (bumper to bumper) for another $3500 and said wear and tear is not covered. Two days after buying this car I had to fork out $800 for new tires. They said I have fog lights, I don't. They kept saying "ya, we'll find out for you and we'll look into that." They didn't. They didn't even fill the gas tank (this one is minor, but it was annoying to leave from buying a car and having to fill the gas tank). It just shows the lack of care that went into this. They wouldn't budge on ANYTHING at all. I have a 824 credit score, and they were going to set me up with a bank at 9% interest. I told them to check my credit union, because that is BS. It came back at 7%. I wish I had gone on here before buying the car. I wouldn't have gone through them. They are crooks and didn't deserve my business. We'll see how they treat me in future. Maybe I'll be able to update this post to something better, but as it is right now- Never again will I go through them.
