      A sales rep came to my door today and lied to my face saying that Hawx Had a promotional deal going on for a 1 time service of 49$ there would be no further charges after the initial promotional offer for doing general pest control as well as preventative termite control / soil etc. After reading the contract that was sent to my email, 1st it’s an untrusted email it arrived in the junk folder then I saw that there would be a quarterly charge for a year along with a cancellation fee that has to come through the mail for some reason if I wanted to cancel <<— total scam by the way should be shamed. Also, the rep lied saying they were a local business but I see they have offices in Utah. He also wouldn't show me any contract but asked for my email before agreeing to the deal that he was offering so I could check on details later. I would like to cancel the upcoming service and all future services. Please do not charge my card or I will call my bank to file a dispute / and sadly take legal action if needed. Thank you.

      The rep did not make it clear that I would be charged additional payments after being granted a promotion. I specially told the rep that I did not want any services done and he insisted on leading me on to trying the services one time. For starters Im not happy with the result of the spray because my backyard is still coming up with insects. I signed the form for the cancellation of services and still got charged for another month. I no longer want to be charged for this or I will file a dispute with my bank.

      So a solicitor of the business "Hawx pest control" came to my door on 5/18/22 saying they could treat all bugs and pests and mosquitoes alike for a low rate and come every month if I wanted them too. I told him I had already signed up with another company and he said he could beat their rates so I said ok I'll try them out for a month. He showed me a price on the tablet and said initial here and that was all. The first service date was 5/21/22, Their product did not work and I called them back out a couple weeks later to come service my property again due to insects still being all over. They serviced my property again and still their product didn't work and their are mosquitoes all over and wasps and spiders. I called on 6/17/22 to say I no longer wanted their service and the customer service person then proceeded to inform me I would be breaking the contract and would have to pay a $450 cancellation fee. A contract I knew nothing about because the solicitor never informed me of a contract nor a cancellation fee. They are refusing to let me cancel their service even though they misrepresented their selves and lied to me and their product doesn't work.

We will have our area manager inspect and treat any areas of concern at a time you are available. We will close one subscription at no additional cost with the other subscription being fulfilled.       I am rejecting this response because: the solicitor failed to mention anything at all about a contract. If he had told me there was a contract I would have told him no thank you. I was lied to and deceived.

      Hawx was going door to door offering a service for bug spraying and said it was a one time $50 dollar fee. They did the service and I thought that was it. I am now being charged $50 dollars a month and they said that is how the service works but that is not what they said to me. They trick people into buying their service and tell you later how it works. I filled out my info but the document I received has a signature but it is not my full name or writing. I would like to discontinue my service as they are dishonest and sign you up without telling you what their service actually is. Their email also went into my spam folder and I could not cancel within the 3 days because I found it later than the date to cancel. I have attached their document without my full name signed or writing style and my real signature as evidence.

      Hawx pest control has been charging my checking account monthly for $39.99. They are supposed to be treating the inside/outside of my home for Pests. I have not received any pest treatment from Hawx since Jan. 13, 2022 but they continue to charge my account for services not rendered. I contacted them to close my account and get a refund since they failed to perform the second quester home treatment and monthly mosquito treatments. They are refusing to send me a refund l. Their reasoning was because they sent me an email in November 2021 stating it was going to be a monthly payment they do not have to provide a refund even though they did perform the services as promised.

      Signed up for contract yesterday on the 7th of July 2022. Told them I have fly infestation problem. They said they would take care of it. Technician came and Straight up told me that they don't. I was lied to and signed a contract. They are liars and cheaters. Don't sign up
