I began services with Hawx Pest Control in June 2023. The contract was for 12 months with six months of comprehensive services to assist with a current mosquito problem because our property holds water. The first month was great, but I also homesteaded and had many fruits and vegetables. The contractor told me the materials were organic and would not damage the garden. During the 3rd service, the contractor informed me that the materials were toxic and he could not spray my vegetables. I was paying $80 a month for them to put in these pods that helped with the mosquitos and no longer spraying. During the last and final visit, the contractor came out to "spray" but told me that he did not have the pods, so I canceled the appointment and told him to reschedule once they received the pods. I did not think about it because it was the end of summer, and nobody ever showed up. Now, I am getting an "Early Termination" fee, which is double the amount I would have paid if they just did the service I was paying them to provide. When I spoke with supervisors, they kept putting me off until my account became "delinquent," once that occurred, they conveniently could no longer help.DO NOT USE HAWX! Their service could be better, their contractors and business technicians lie. Their calls say they are recorded but refuse to pull these records to confirm my truth. Not worth the time or effort!

BEWARE!!! Absolute SCAM! They came one time, never returned my calls or came again but kept billing me, FINALLY got ahold of someone that claimed she canceled for me, blocked them on my credit card, moved states, its been EIGHTEEN MONTHS and this morning I woke up to them SOMEHOW billing me $282!!! They are rude, they are a fraud, they are arrogant and ignorant, they should absolutely be shut down.Hawx Services, LLC

Beware of Hawx Pest Control. The last time my home was serviced was back in September of last year, and yet they continue to charge me for the ****************** *** spoken to several people in attempts to resolve the matter. They keep assuring me someone will come out to service my home, and yet no one does. They refuse to give me a refund for services not rendered, and instead prefer to give me credits in order to string me along. Ive called again today in attempts to cancel my service, b/c Ive had enough. In order to do so, they want to charge me $199 for early cancellation of contract - on top of all the other months Ive been charged for no service, lol! Crazy right? They insist there is no else I can speak to escalate the matter, they remain firm on the cancellation fee and no refund on services not rendered. This sounds to me like out right stealing, and they seem to be getting away with it. Reading the rest of these comments makes me believe there should be a class action lawsuit in place.Hawx Services, LLC

Don't!Do not sign up with Hawx Pest Control to be your pest control. I went there as there were great review online and they were slightly lower than the competition.So, I got a good deal but...The company should rethink what "pest control" means... especially ants as pests. Every time they will perform a service the ants will be gone for 1-3 days and then... invasion... way more ants than before. Even after multiple treatments still the same result. So the time came for me to cancel the services.Well, that is where the catch came... tried to cancel via the web, no success, via mobile browsers the same... so I had to call and ask them to cancel the services and close my account. Customer rep tried to "sell" me better deals instead of closing my account. Finally I got the customer rep to agree and close my account.Then few months later I started getting notifications that I have payments due. I called them again and found out that my account is still "active". They have been charging me in the mean time and ended up with a balance. Key note here: there was no service performed in the meantime, since I asked and was told that the account will be closed.So, I asked (again) for my account to be closed... instead, got a sales pitch. Declined and asked them to close my account. And then got the following response from the account manager: "In order for us to be able to close your account you will need to pay your outstanding balance." What????? What balance? You have been charging me after I asked and got confirmed on the phone that my account will be closed. Long story short... it was pointless to argue with the "account manager (a.k.a. salesman)" as they were simply not giving up. After very stressful couple of calls with them... I ended up paying and order to have my account with them closed. My advice, talking from my experience with Hawx Pest Control... go somewhere else!!! They have very manipulative sales and account management tactics.Hawx Services, LLC

This company is a complete rip off they send salesman through your neighborhood fast talking you into signing a contract that state general service $350 less $301 discount which would be ok if this was the yearly cost. Oh nooo this is for the first month get the heck out of here we can pay less buying yard treatment ourselves if we have to deal with bugs still. Why are we paying $650/yr $55.00 monthly to still deal with outdoor pest issues that you only treat 4xs the year. You want to charge the consumer $199.00 for wanting out of your Predatory contract. Companies like you should be ashamed for the way you treat individuals and your technician are not reliable either, they confirm appointments then never show up or half do their job and when you call customer service all they do is make excuses for them. Customers don't want to hear your excuses, but you surly make it your duty to deduct our payments timely and we can't seem to get the same in return. If you're charging a payment monthly then you should do a job monthly trust me it has never cost me $165 quarterly to treat my yard for any of the pests (ants, bees, wasps or centipedes) that you are charging people that still show up after your company has put out treat. Once my contact is complete I will never refer anyone to obtain your services or get myself again.You Live and LearnHawx Services, LLC

this company does not provide what they contract to do.....then they wait months before charging the credit card....they are a scam artist and they charge just enough that it would be the same amount it would take to get a lawyer and fight.it......so then whos gonna pay the same amount out to get back what was charged..Hawx Services, LLC

1 starAfter looking at the info below, my problems seem *****. But, I signed up initially for rodent control (attic rats), and the guy on the phone convinced me to include regular pest service (I live in *******, bugs and ants are a constant issue) in addition to their rodent control package, not sure of the name of the package. Let me say, the technicians that came to my house were very nice and did the best they could. The problem was that they weren't allowed to go up into the attics (we have 3), they could only go waist high, meaing they could only get a few feet into the attics. We have a large home, so this didn't seem like it was going to work, and it didn't. I ended up having to hire another firm to get rid of the rodent problem.My main complaint lies with the story afterwards. I tried to cancel all services, feeling that i was misled by the sales rep regarding their ability to remove the rodents. I was told there would be a $360 (+/-) cancellation fee! I've never heard of a cancellation fee to stop a SERVICE. I'm no lawyer, but I doubt it's even legal. Probably can't hire an attorney for $360, so I waited, waited, and tried cancelling again today. Was told I have to call back AFTER making the final payment and cancel then. Hopefully I don't run into the problems mentioned below of them continuing to charge my card after cancellation.I would recommend NOT doing business with this company. And HAWX, don't pretend to care enough about your customers to insult me by replying and asking for more details. Your customer service reps have made it perfectly clear that you don't care about your reputation. If it were possible, I would also give them zero stars.Review fromVin P

I have been billed for 5 months after last service and chasing for payment (out of which 2 months were auto deducted and billed for 3 more after cancelling credit card ). There was no explanation for the why the bill was services not rendered. Initial agreement was 4 years ago and there was no mentioning of monthly charges. Never expected such a mediocre service and scam practices from Hawx.Hawx Services, LLC

They charged me $199 for cancelling my one year contract before the year was up. However I never told them I wanted to cancel the contract. I told them they charged me incorrectly for something I didn't request. I wanted to be refunded for the $199. He said he couldn't do that but he would credit my account. I asked why he couldn't just refund the $199 he stole from me and said he just couldn't. This is robbery, taking money from someone without their permission. Very dissatisfied!!Hawx Services, LLC

If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible service since day one. Had to make multiple calls to get them to come back on multiple occasions due to pest issues that supposedly they resolved and sprayed/checked for! Our contract ended in October and theyre still taking money out for a service we no longer use! We dont do refunds. Bad company, bad service, and unprofessional. Youre better off spraying the big box store bought ************** than dealing with this company. No I dont need to reach out to no service representative, have already tried multiple times and just get the run around all to come back to the we dont do refunds, but how can we make it up to you? Give me my money back thats how!Hawx Services, LLC
