      Like many others, I was duped into signing a 12-month contract on the iPad by a salesman. Fortunately, I read the contract after it was sent to me and it turns out you can cancel within 3 business days of when it was first signed. I sent out the necessary forms along with an email and got a confirmation that my account had been closed out and I wouldnt be scheduled for future services. A month later, I get an email for an upcoming scheduled service. I call customer service and explain I have cancelled and have the forms and emails as proof. The rep was very apologetic and claimed this was due to a glitch in their system. She assures me my account has been closed this time and I receive another email confirming this. A month later, I find out the card on file has been charged and the next day one of their workers shows up at my door for the scheduled service. I tell him I cancelled of which he told me he was never informed and left without performing any service. A couple days later I get an email of my upcoming service for the following weekend. Despite telling their worker I had cancelled, they went ahead and rescheduled for the following weekend. Its like talking to a wall. They refuse to take no for an answer (I see where their salesmen get it from.) Do yourself a favor and stay away from these clowns. I have filed a claim with my bank and will make sure these thieves dont steal any more of my money.

      I was sold a contract for 1 year by a door salesman in June, techs came 2 hours late and stayed for 14 minutes where as I was charged ***** July 16th was charged ***** for no services rendered when I called to question charges I was told that is the monthly charge even though no tech came out and would be charged monthly that amount I told them I wanted to cancel contract which ended up costing me ******. Watch out for this company, they are crooks in my opinion

      On about June 15 2022 me and wife were talking to a friend about ants all over our patio and he said he work for a pest control company name Hawx an he told my wife he would call his leader an see can we get a treatment for ants so he did but his leader said he would call back . Our friend gave him my wife name and my phone # so he call me to explain the treatment I told him I didnt want no contract so he said he would give us one treatment for $49.00 I said ok so the next day a guy came out to treat for ant but first they say i had to pay for the one treatment before he started , but it had to be check or card no cash so I paid for it with a card just for one treatment. I didnt sign no contract not did my wife they must have forced my wife name because she never talk to them and they gave her a year contract what we didnt want. We call the office talk to a lady she hung up on us we want out of contract which we didnt sign for.we ask for a copy of the contract which they say my wife sign, it had a line **** thru where you supposed to sign i like to know who forced it we just want out of this contract an no more Hawx treatment.

      Absolutely the worst customer service! Product did not work. They never came back to fix the problem. Said they were goi g to do entire perimeter and only sprayed for mosquitoes, which did not work. Tried to cancel and they charge more money to cancel. Would not recommend at all!

      A sales person came to my door on June 8th 2022 and told me they were servicing my community and were offering a special deal of $50 per month for 3 consecutive months for aunt and insect services around my house. After a lot of talking I finally agreed, only because he assured me it would only be a 3 month service for $50. So I pay the $50 and sign the receipt. It is now a few weeks later and I notice aunts all around the inside and outside of my house, so I call them to see when they were coming back again to service my property. Come to find out it was not a receipt I signed but a contract, and they would only come out to service my property every 90 days, but they have a free warranty service that they send out in between so they would send someone out for no change in between months. I explained to them thats not what I signed up for and that thats not what the salesperson said to me at my door. They didnt care and said I had a signed contract for $50 a month for 12 months and I would have to pay $200 fee to get out of it. All I wanted was a 90 day service and they tricked me into something I didnt want to begin with. I didnt realize I was signing a contract when was given an iPad to sign for what I thought was 3 month service and not a contract. ************ is a fraud and shouldnt be allowed to trick people into these contracts, or make you pay a fee when you call and realize someone from their company came to your house and lied about the services they were offering you. I live in ***************** and have no need for aunt services in the winter months, so who in their right mind would agree to a 12 month contract? No one. Thats why a agreed to a 3 month service and not a 12 month contract and should be held to that as stated by their salesmen. Shame on you Hawx Pest Control.

      I had a gentleman by the name of ***************************** come out to service my home for pest. Hr was very professional, polite, and respectful. He told me what he was going to do took pictures and sent them to me. Thank you guys for always doing right with me.

      We were approached by a young and friendly salesman named ******. He had stated that since they were treating our neighbor's home during a certain week, that they could pencil us in for a one time treatment at the cost of $65.We were assured that this was one time...we were charged for another month in June. When I called in their response, although cordial, was a complete disappointment. We were told we were locked into a 12 month agreement. I have two witnesses that confirm that not only did I ask ****** our sales rep if it was one time, but that he responded yes. They both confirmed this to be true.So when requesting to cancel the service, I was notified that their is a cancellation fee of $200. The difference of initial cost versus promotional price. Further they did point out that I had indeed signed the 12 month agreement.I admittedly did sign this agreement thinking it was an acknowledgement of service. Why would I consider it to be a 12 month agreement after being verbally told it was a one time treatment? So again, yes I did sign the agreement.The product did work fairly well. We did require a warranty application once for the ********* ants in our property. However after the second treatment they did die down to a point, albeit not completely.Everyone I've dealt with has been very civil and pleasant. Our issue is with the selling process and very obvious "miscommunication". There are two potential issues leading to this....one is that the sales employees quotas are so high they feel the need to be vague or misleading to fill these quotas....or that the initial training is either not up to par which leads to less disciplined behavior used to acquire sales.At the end of the day we are seriously disappointed, and although the product does work mildly well ....it is in no way worth $65 a month for 12 months.Leadership should seriously be involved here and take a look at this trend.

      I dont typically leave reviews for companies, but I have to after my experience today. **** came in & did a very thorough walkthrough/spray of my home while informing me of what exactly he was doing and what to expect in the future. He was extremely considerate, kind and professional the entire time he was in my home. This was the best experience Ive had with a pest company to date! Hawx did an outstanding ******* would recommend them to anyone.

      Salesman came to my door at 7:30 p.m. He gave his speech and I almost signed up. He took my card information and handed me a tablet so I could sign a contract. (He did not give me an option to see the contract until I requested to do so.) After reading through and seeing many discrepancies I started asking questions. He became condescending toward me and his attitude completely switched. The price in the contract was 3x what he quoted me. It was a 12 month contract which he said if I wanted to cancel it was about $100 to cancel. Reviews from others have stated up to $600 to cancel their contracts. He is on camera yelling at my neighbor after she told him she wasn't interested multiple times. From reviews I have read, the pushy, rude, and deceptive behavior is a common occurrence from salesmen for this company.

      Door to door soliciting with no permission from the village (no id badge), outside of said villages permitted soliciting hours. Specifically knocked at my door which had a no soliciting sign. Referenced our neighbors name which was not accurate saying they use the service and they are letting us know as a courtesy their products are safe for kids and pets and said he wasn't soliciting and wasn't going door to door however we watched them go up and down the block. Please follow village guidelines and respect those that post no solicitors welcome. I will absolutely call the police next time.
