      **************** is very poor, just kept getting transferred to someone else for over an hour just to be told to call back Monday. Had nothing but problems with equipment sensor. Tried to cancel and was told I had signed a contract for 60 months which I do not recall or even have a copy of. All I want is out of my supposed contract which I have paid into for 4 years. Tired of the poor service and equipment. Trying to retire and move.

      Our security system has been failing for almost a year. They have told us over and over they would send someone out to install new sensors and update our system for the past six months and nothing. We agreed to another five years in addition to lowering our bill because my mother is elderly and has a fixed income. They have taken advantage of my elderly mother. Now we are stuck in this contract without any security coverage to our home. We've called numerous times asking for them to send out a technician and nothing. I am LIVID! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! If there is any way I could get my mother out of this bogus contract with these scammers, I would have done it yesterday. Giving these people one star is a joke. They don't even deserve half a star.

      Like other reviews I have read, if there was an option to leave no stars, I would! I got into Alder when I moved to a new place and needed 9 more door/window sensors from Cove and it was going to cost me $135 EVEN THOUGH there was a half-off sale going on so, I decided to get another system. In comes the nightmareAlder Security. Long story short, I had internet service and everything worked fine ( I bought 1 outdoor camera and 1 indoor camera and sensors). Then a few months later, the internet was transferred to me from the complex owner, and the cameras wouldnt connect. Turns out the internet has capability for 2.4G and 5G, but it automatically chooses which speed to use the device that is trying to connect. I have no way to manually change it back and forth between 2.4 and 5G. So I call Alder and tell them that their cameras wont work for me anymore and to cancel my contract. The first thing they asked-everytime I called to cancel- was I cancelling due to another security system. Wanting me to pay 90% of the contract I owe- ummm no sir I will not!! Neither of their cameras work on 5G- NOT MY FAULT, but Im still paying freaking $38/mo for this POS company!! They would rather have the money versus keeping you safe, for sure!! I have a lawyer involved and its still a beating! I even told them that I wanted to cancel because their equipment is inferior and does not work on the most popular internet speed possible! NOT MY CHOICE TO CANCEL- but my safety is important to me since this mess, Ive gotten wire fence panels, two chairs and a patio rug stolen from me! DO NOT HIRE THESE WEIRDOS!!!

      Horrible company they lie to you about services and the tech will cancel on you day of with no warning. I was charged for services that I did not have and was scammed out of money do to their cancelation policies. DO NOT use this company.

      They are horrible!! We are paying for a product that we do not have although they have promised to send us our security system multiple times! I cannot get a hold of a manager. We have gotten hung up on when we mention we haven't received our products. I am now disputing the charges every month, but it is very annoying that I have to do that.

      This company is the worst. The tech who installed the system broke the my adt panel that was 500$ that i have to pay for and They was supposed to issue a buyout for adt which still hasn't happened and when I follow up They say they have sent a check but can't give me any details on where the check was sent. The system doesn't work most of the time. The fire alarm keeps going off all the time for no reason and they say that it works fine. The fire department has been sent to my house for no reason because of it even though we cancelled the alarm. They have done absolutely nothing they have said. It's basically a scam. This company should not be in buisiness. Can someone please tell me how what they are doing is legal?

      ******* P ALDER IS THE WORST COMPANY I EVER DEALT WITH. THEY ARE DEBITING MY ACCOUNT FOR A SYSTEM THAT DOESN'T WORK. COUNTINUOUSLY CALLING THEM THEY KEEP TRANSFERRING ME TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE. THEN THEY SENT ME A LETTER STATING THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ******* TO CANCEL MY CONTRACT. I NEVER SIGN ANY PAPERS STATING THAT I HAVE A CONTRACT WITH THEM. THEY WANT ME TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE TO TAKE-UP THE SERVICE. WHY WOULD I PUT SOMEONE ELSE THROUGH WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH WITH THEM. I WOULD'NT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. THEY DON'T DESERVE ANYONE SERVICE. THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSSINESS.

      If I can give a lower rating I would, Ive had this service these last few months and the system has always been giving me such an issue. Ive tried to cancel 4 times and they keep suggesting technical support. Please do not use this service they do not care about there customers at all.

      Horrible Company!!!I was only trying to sign up for DIRECTV streaming services, then got pushed over to this company, and was told that my equipment was a trial. They sent me sample equipment not full equipment, and I somehow ended up with a five year contract. Because I did not need the security system I returned it unactivated back to Alder security. I asked for a cancellation and was told that I needed to sign some documents, saying that I would pay in full. After asking twice, the documents were finally sent to me only for me to learn that I was in a contract I dont remember signing. They asked me to pay $2484 to cancel the contract. I have never use the system. They sent me and sent it back to them having never activating it.They kept trying to push me to give my contract to somebody else in my family to take over. however, I said no. The agent basically to this said to keep paying the bill for a service I dont have/want.I do not earn enough from my job to cover any bills from alders security, and my mothers only source of income is her Social Security. With all the regular bills that we have to pay on top of medication for my mothers heart, and other conditions we cannot make payments for a system we never wanted, activated, or have. Since I return the product, I contacted them a few more times to try and get my account cancelled. However, they keep asking me to give it to someone else to take over or they could send me back the equipment and keep paying. After I did not comply, the payments were stopped do to my mothers card being shut down when unknown charges were made to her bank account.After that happened, I did not give my mothers card number out to anyone. Since the payments were stopped after explaining to them over and over about the situation, theyve been calling me nonstop about getting payments and sending threatening letters saying they will send me to collections. I dont remember signing a contract/ they wont show me the contract.
