      HOLE LEFT UNCOVERED IN WALL FROM INSTLATION WAS NEVER ABLE TO MONITOR SYSTEM ON I PHONE AS INSTAII0RS SAID THETY DID NOT HAVE WHATEVER WAS NEEDED TO CONNECT TO I PHONE.THIS WAS REPORTED TO RERESENTATIVE **** WHO AT THIS TIME WAS NOT INTHE STATE.HE STATED HE WOUID CONTACT PERSON IN CHARGE OF INSTALLORS AND ISSUES WOULD BE RESOLVED. ON 6 27 22 IN AN ATTEMP TO CANCELL CONTRACT AS NO ONE FROM ALDERS HAS BEEN BACK TO MY HOUSE OR MADE ANY ATTEMP TO CONTACT ME,WHEN I CALLED ON 6/27 WAS ON PHONE APPROXAMLY 45 MIN ASKED TO SPEAK WITH BRANDT NERDER COMPLIANCE MGT TOLD HE WAS OUT OF OFFICE. MR ******* WOULD LOOK OVER ACCT, AND GET BACK WITH ME.TRANSFERED TO ACCOUNTING ***** *** AQUIRREL)WHO WAS UNABLE TO HEPL TRANSFERED TO **** PASCL IN ACCOUNTING WHO ADVISED I HAD 3 DAYS TO CANCEL,ONLY OPTION NOW IS TO BUY OUT OR TRANSFER CAMERAS TO FAMILY MEMBER.

      Alder security has zero customer service. We were told that they would move our system free of charge when we moved well come to find out it will cost $100 to get them out to move the system. The fire alarm goes off for no reason and troubleshooting did not work nor did getting a new fire alarm installed. The contract is way too long and too expensive to get out of. I would not recommend this company at all. They take no responsibility for the equipment or for what the sales rep says to get you to sign the contract. They want your money but nothing else. To get out of contract you have to pay termination fee which is equal to monthly payments remaining on your contract.

      We have had problems with Alder security system for the last 4 months. The panel doesn't work, so I don't have any security for my home. The company saying they will send a technician and nothing so far. This company is not very reliable, I want out of this contract so bad. They told me I have another year and a half, which is wrong. It was supposed to be a 5 year contract and it should be up this year. They're lying to us and adding more time to our contract without notifying us of that. We have had problems with the cameras in the past. Our 5 years should already be up. I'm tired of paying for something that I'm not getting. Is there anything I can do to get out of this situation?

      If I could give zero stars I would! This isnt a legitimate company and is a huge scam! I have called and sent letters requesting them to cancel this service and asking where to send back their product. The product has NEVER worked. Instead of accepting that, they continue to try to send me to tech support for assistance however it hasnt worked! You can buy a better system on Amazon and pay a one time fee and be better secured than this crappy service. I finally spoke to a representative by the name of *** who didnt immediately send me to tech support. They stated that they only offer 2 cancellation options to include 1) a 90% payout! (For technology that doesnt work!!!) or 2) finding someone else to use their product and take over the account. (Which again doesnt work!!!) I cant believe one of my utility companies recommended this scam. Save your money and your sanity. They will not disconnect service, take their junk and are threatening going to collections. They will not get another dime out of me. They also do not have a manager on-site until 10am their time and they will not call you back. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!

      1 star because 0 is not an option. This company took advantage of me after losing my husband. They bullied me into signing a 5 year contract over the phone. After looking up reviews, I immediately tried to cancel. I returned their equipment unopened. I never even set it up or began using their monitoring service. I had to change my bank account to stop them from taking money from me every month for a service I NEVER even used. I have spent hours on the phone trying to cancel, sometimes only to be disconnected. After months of trying to cancel, I finally received a contract they want me to sign in order to cancel. By signing it, I would be agreeing to pay them $2,500 for a service I NEVER used. They call twice a day, everyday telling me I owe them money. They send mail constantly threatening to send it to a collection agency. THIS COMPANY IS A PREDATOR. THEY HAVE NO INTEREST IN PROTECTING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY - THEY JUST WANT TO PREY ON YOU.

      This was is the worst customer service, and equipment failure I have ever purchased in my life. The salesmen lied, motion sensors fell off wall twice, power failure of system due to bad transformer. I know I had canceled service, and moved to new house only after the system was 1 month old. They continue to charge me for 2yrs. They been taking money from my account at an address I dont even live at. I caught on my bank statement and stopped payment and called Alder and they wanted me to pay to cancel. After they never checked on my system for 2yrs. At a address I didnt even live at. That is breech of contact on thier part. I need help so this wont go on my credit.

      I went with Alder 3 years ago. Didnt have any problems until 4 moths ago. They said that I needed an upgrade and it wouldnt cost me anything. They didnt tell me that with the upgrade that my contract was being renewed (my bad). They finally sent some one out to do the upgrade. The person who did the work said Id had to call ********************** to program it. I have called them multiple times, talked to multiple people and it is still not working. They still billed me during the time it has not been working. The installer has been here 3 times and it is still not working. I tried to cancel my contract (not knowing that they had renewed it, without telling/or asking) and they said I would have to pay $598.00. They scheduled an appointment for today for someone to come back out to see if they can fix. I told them I would not pay the **** that I just received or any other **** until it is working and if I have to I would contact a lawyer.

      We have been with Alder since 2015 the first 5 years they were good at handling issues. When 2020 came we renewed our contract every since then we can't get anybody to handle issues we are having with our security system. We have been having problems with our sensors when we call about it they tell us to change the batteries. I have did this several times I am still having the same issues still not resolved. We have been having problems with our main panel. My wife called to schedule for a technician to come out. She cancelled her appointment to get this issue resolved. A technician was schedule to come out between the hours of ****pm on 7-11-22 no call no show. She called to see why the tech didn't show up. They told her he had until 5pm no call no show again .She called back again they told her he had until 8 pm by this time she was fed up no call no show once again. She called back again and kept getting the run around. I guess they feel as long you are under contract for 3 more years they can treat their customers any kind of way. My advice and experience if you see this company run away from them as fast as you can.

      I wish I had not bought In to there lies and scam. I did even have the service a month call 4 times in that first month to get help and I was told that someone would call me back I waited from June 23 tell July 11 2022 , I talk to Zach in customer service. Transfered to cancel **** that never called you back. July 12 2022 I was told by Honey , customer acct Manger, that I would have to buy out my contract, I told them to come get there equipment that was used to start with she said she was sending a cancel form in the mail. They can not get there story straight. Then they told me they call and my call was not answered. I waited all day no call. They scam you by unprofessional practice, and then charge you cancel fee
