Sauna is filthy with people going there without showering or with the same gym clothes. Some are actually working out in the sauna. Today I finally decided to cancel after seeing the whole restroom/bathroom area full of excrements everywhere. And when I tried to cancel, I got this chat:Me: i'd like to cancel my membership ****: Okay we can cancel the account for you today. Any payments due within 30 days from today would be owed to cancel plus a $25 cancel fee. That would be ***** to cancel Me: wow VASA: That is owed per your agreement Me: well per our agreement, the restrooms at the gym shouldn't be full of excrements VASA: There is no clause about that. I am more than happy to send you the agreement if you want Me: true. i'll pay

Hello I apologize for any confusion regarding our cancellation fees. As you were previously told, there is a 30 day cancellation policy when cancelling the Membership as well as a $25 cancellation fee. It does look like the Membership has been cancelled. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist you.

My 17-year-old daughter signed up online because she wanted to use the pool for a month due to a surgery and she couldn't put weight on her foot. Of course she didn't read the fine print. She got charged $25 for the month, then $50 annual fee, and since the plan was to use it a month, another $25 cancellation fee. (That was after a $10 freeze fee since she signed up before surgery). So - one month of pool therapy at VASA (appr. $115). I guess by the fine print, **** can collect, but having it that easy for a minor to get a membership and then not waiving even a cancelation fee or an annual fee . . . pretty poor practice in my opinion.

I signed up for a 3 month training and was never shown the contract until I received an attachment PDF in email. I saw that they set the contract to auto renew! I was told I can cancel within 3 dsys by letting them know and so I went back and did so at the front desk. The manager in ***********, ** said corporate will send me an email in a few days? I doubt they will. The contract says I have to send a certified letter within 3 days to corporate. Who doors this? Why can't I just cancel at the desk or online? Pretty sad. I will never use them again and it was a perfect location and I was so looking forward to using it on a regular bad is. I just don't want this contract I now can't get out of.

I would give 0 stars if I could. First, their customer ********************** line hung up on me TWICE before I could even get to a human on the phone. Second, when I finally got someone on the line, it was through the Spanish line, and the man that helped me was VERY rude from the second he answered. He was condescending and talking back to me. Third, why doesnt **** give you the option to choose when to unfreeze your account?! I was charged in November after my account unfroze without me knowing. ***** business practices are predatory with the sketchy way they freeze and unfreeze accounts, the fees they charge for that, AND the fees they charge to cancel your membership. Its ridiculous and infuriating. I will never be giving **** my business again. You cant even get a good workout in because they sell more memberships than their facilities can house, so the gyms are always super crowded.

Hello,I have located your Membership, ***************************** - 7483004619133W. I apologize for any negative experience you have had with VASA Fitness! It looks like you placed a 3 month hold on your Membership through our app back in August, so the hold automatically ended on 11/18/22 and your billing resumed. The cancellation policies are outlined in the Membership agreement. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused!

I had signed up in August 2022 for a 3 month Personal Trainer plan. Upon signing up for the Personal Trainer (PT) I was told I would be notified when it gets close to the end of the 3 months (said by the PT.) 3 months has gone by (11/14) I have NEVER received anything in my email, on the app, or through the location themselves about wanting to renew. I messaged my PT about it, but he has YET to respond, so I got online (www.vasafitness.com > About > support) And chatted with a representative. The rep did help me cancel the PT sessions, and did provide me a copy of the contract that I had signed at the beginning of the PT sessions. When I had signed up, it was done on an iPad, or similar device, the sign up process went through it all and was done. Upon receiving the copy of the rep representative, I noticed an area that said "This agreement is Non-renewable if this box is checked" with a box next to it, that was unchecked. From what I can remember, I was never given the option to check this box. If I would have know about this box, I would have selected it, as I opted to do personal training just to get me in the habit of going to the gym and to learn about the equipment since I had not been to a gym since *********** (2013). I was always under the impression that I would receive something from my PT, the location, or Vasa in General

I was excited when I first walked in to Vasa, even though the employees kept bringing up how great it was for me to make first steps for my health as I'm very overweight. I know they're trying to be encouraging, but you don't have to keep bringing it up or make it a big deal because then you're just making me feel bad. But my problem is, I've ended up with blood clot issues, which my trainer knew about and then she completely ignored all of my messages to her until months later when someone else said they'd look in to it, I've had covid, and strep throat 5 times this year. I have to have my tonsils removed. I've been in the hospital so much this year and with my health and financial situation because of missing so much work due to illness, I have to move back home out of state. I understand not being able to cancel due to financial hardship, most places are like that. But to tell me there's nothing that can be done even with all of my unfortunate medical issues? That's crazy and sad. Worst experience with a gym I've ever had.

Canceled my membership in October using their website where I input my barcode ID and I also paid the 30-day notice. I was then charged 3 more times twice for Oct and once for November. I spoke to their customer ********************** in Oct. and was told my account was canceled but then I get charged again in Nov. Do not sign up for their gym membership. I will be filing a report to the BBB.

I joined VASA one month ago and added personal training for 6 months. At the time I was told I could cancel my membership anytime for a $25 fee. I decided I want to cancel my membership because I live too far away and I can only go there 1x/week, so its just not cost effective. *** tried to cancel through the app and it wont work, and when I called the ***** number they said that I cant cancel it because I signed up for personal training and they needed to bill me 12 times before I could cancel for an additional fee. This was never mentioned when I signed up. I was led to believe I can cancel anytime for $25 and thats it. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Hello, I have located your Membership, ************************* - 9378005030162W. It does look like you signed up for a 6 month Personal Training contract. The two ways to cancel while youre in contract are either due to relocation (if you've moved more than 25 miles from the nearest gym) or if you sell/transfer your membership to someone else. We do not have a medical or financial hardship clause for cancellation. In order to cancel due to relocation we'll need a proof of move, which would be a utility bill or lease/rental agreement in your name. There's also a $100 cancellation fee. Once we receive the proof of move and cancellation fee we can get the account canceled out. If you're not moving you can sell/transfer the account to someone else with a $100 transfer fee. The new person would pick up the contract where you left off. Many people sell their contracts on ksl.com or craigslist.com. Please reach out to ******************************** if you need assistance cancelling the Personal Training under these terms.

I've been trying to cancel my membership at this gym for about a month now. I froze my account for 3 months because I was contemplating keeping the membership and when my account got opened again, I was charged for those 3 months. That makes no sense at all to me. I have tried to cancel my membership on the app and it says that it can't find my account. I find it funny how they can't find my account, but they can keep charging my card for an account they "can't find". I have tried to call customer **********************, the wait time is outrageous. I've put myself down for a callback 3 times and not once did I receive a call back. I even went to the gym to have someone there cancel my membership and I was told they didn't have the authority to do so. So how is it that they have the authority to sign me up for a membership, but not cancel it. None of this makes sense to me and I've been getting robbed for my money for a gym I haven't stepped foot in for over 200 days. I would not recommend anyone to get a membership at this gym.
