      On May 23 a salesman came to our door. I explained that we already had a pest control service (Greenix). He said that our current pest control company does not use "pheromone blockers" like Saela does which prevents pests from returning to the same spot time after time. I did admit that our current company was never able to prevent spiderwebs on the second floor wall from returning quickly. The salesman said that all Greenix does is wipe away the webs and do nothing to prevent their return. He promised me that with Saela their pheromone blocking treatment would get rid of the spider webs for good. I committed to trying Saela, at a higher price, based on this promise that their technology could succeed where Greenix had failed.

      On May 29 a technician came to apply our first treatment. We naturally pointed out the spider webs and what the salesman had told us. The technician seemed confused. He said they didn't use anything called pheromone blockers and they couldn't make any kind of guarantee about the spiders not coming back. He said that they really focus on the ground floor and not upper levels. He said the best they can do is wipe away the webs, but they are likely to come back. (Exactly like Greenix.)

      Saela signed us up for an 18 month quarterly contract and require payment of 50% of the agreed cost to cancel. They blatantly lied about the scope and effectiveness of their offering in order to convince me to do so.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is somewhat satisfactory to me.

      I am not happy.  Saela admitted that their sales person lied to me and that they are making efforts to correct this trend with their team of third party sales people.  That doesn't really help me who had already been duped.  

      Saela has given me a $50 credit for my trouble.  That does not fully cover the additional costs I will incur by switching to their service, but it does help.  They have also promised that their treatment will aid with the spider problem that they originally promised it would completely solve, but admitted that it will likely still be a struggle.  I have agreed to let them do their best and see how it goes.

      The contract I signed starting May 20,2024 which I insisted and got their agreement to pre-pay for the whole year. First problem, the sales person agreed to one price in person and they sent a bill for a different price. They offered to make up for the extra service with 1 additional visit. By the time the September 2024 rolls around, I have had to call them 2 times to refund billing me again for service I had prepaid. Each time I told them I do not wish to continue with the service after the end of the initial term. Because of the billing issues, I demanded to remove my payment card from their system which thankfully they did.
      The final dispute begins with an e-mail notice they sent on May 25,2025 that they would be coming to perform service on May 27. I had forgotten about the whole service before then, I replied on May 26, that I do not want want the service and to cancel/close my account.
      On the May 27th they send me a receipt for service performed, and May 28th sent me a reply to my May 26th e-mail. Six phone calls later over 3 days, my account is now (May 31,2025) closed but with an outstanding balance of $152.76. I left no payment method on record with them so I do not plan to pay but would like a clear and concluded contract for sake of sanity.

      This company has bad business practices to cancel subscription: must be over the phone (vs email/text) transferred calls and holds and delays to prevent cancellation. I haven't successfully canceled after 2 phone calls. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE OR USE THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT

      This company Leo’s booking us for services for a house we don’t live in and haven’t lived in since 2022. We noticed a pest control bill on our account and we called to ask about it and it’s for our old address. We explained we some live there any more and to please refund our money and delete our booking information. We were assured it was taken care of. I was checking our account and noticed another charge had appeared on our account. This company does not stand by its word and just bills whatever. We have now disputed all transactions with this company and blocked any payments moving forward. Beware of working with them and they have your credit card information

      I tried to cancel services with Saela March 2025. I was told that I had to complete a 12 month agreement. When I called, I got tons of pressure to stay with the company. Eventually I had my daughter call on my behalf (I'm 80). It was high pressure tactics and taking advantage of the elderly. My daughter finally got mean. They still won't confirm that my services have been cancelled. DO NOT GIVE THEM CREDIT CARD INFO....they just keep charging. So unethical.

      On May 12, a salesman approached me about setting up a pest control program offered by Saela Pest Control of Ft. Collins. I contracted for quarterly service for one year - total cost $169.00. The technician just left after the first "treatment". As far as I can tell, all he did was wash some cobwebs off my front porch. At the end of the "treatment" he wanted to show me something - an opening around where the pipes for my air conditioner entered the house. It looked very fresh - and smooth edged, like it had been cut away. - the area had been caulked and painted just a year ago and I do not remember seeing anything like this recently. He claimed the wasps had eaten away the opening and had gotten into my attic through the hole. He wanted to "inspect" my attic. He put a ladder up to the hatch in the roof of my garage, but never actually got into the attic so he could not have inspected the walls. Instead he tried to sell me more insulation for my attic and the area over my garage - total for both = $8134. I said I would think about it. I went out and recaulked the hole he created - he just left that. Then I started looking for evidence that he had actually treated anything. Imagine my disgust when I went out on my deck and found wasps still swarming and entering the space between the deck and the liner underneath it - the primary place I have had trouble with wasps in the past. I don't think he "treated" anything!!!! I would ;like this contract cancelled and my money refunded. I plan to never have anything to do with these people again and think others should be warned about them!

      I entered into a contract with this business at the beginning of 2024 for 5 sessions total. After the last session, I wanted to make sure we were done with the services and asked the employee if we were done with the contract and he said yes. A few months later (May 5), they continued to contact me for services, which I replied that I did not have a session scheduled and that my contract was over. On May 10, they messaged me again saying they were coming to provide service and were 30 mins away. They came to my house, supposedly ringed the bell, and provided service. As I was leaving the house I saw their van by the garage door and we talked. I told him that I have repeatedly told them that I didn’t have services scheduled and my contract was over. He acknowledge my response and left. On May 12, I noticed the charge for services on my credit card. I called them and they said that a manager had been trying to call me in order to stop the services because it can only be done through the manager and that services auto-renew after the contract was over. That is a scam tactic because I made sure I was done with their services at the last service session under the contract. I told them that I had communicated multiple times that I was done with the services. In addition, they said they provided services but didn’t even entered my house nor the patio to spray the premises.

      I made my last payment to Saela on Feb 10, 2025 and requested the pest control service be cancelled at that time. I was told it was cancelled and they would not be out again to service my house.
      On Saturday, May 3rd, I got a notice that Saela would be on on Monday to service my house. I immediately called Saela and told them not to come out that the service had been cancelled. i was given the 3rd degree as to whom I spoke with and what is wrong with the service. The woman said I had to speak with an account manager. I see this as the run around. I cancelled the service in February 2025. I didn't have time to speak with anyone.
      I later texted Saela and 2 of their employees to NOT come to my house that the service had been cancelled. I stayed home Monday May 5th to make sure they did not come to my home to service.
      I called Saela Tuesday may 6 to cancel, since it seems they have no record of my cancellation in February. I spoke to a man that just gave me run around and would not cancel the service as I requested. I hung up and called back gain. i got a woman who gave me the run around not wanting to cancel the service but to give me the 3rd degree about the service. I lost my temper and had to hang up.
      I let them know their service did not get rid of my ant problem.
      I don't want to speak with Saela ever again. They took advantage of a 76 year old woman and refuse to cancel the service.
      I shouldn't have to hire an attorney to halt their unscrupulous actions.
      Hopefully you can help me.
      I don't want them servicing my home. I don't want them charging me money. I believe they have my credit card information. I don't want them contacting me ever again.

      I have been a customer for years. I had them come out every 3 months to spray for pests. Sometimes I would use their free respray service where they come out for free before the three month appointment. Last year I tried to set up a respray and they didnt end up coming. So I made another appointment for it. They came 3 weeks before my regular scheduled appointment for the free retreat. I find out they are trying to charge me for the free retreat. I talked to the woman on the phone for an hour telling her Im not going to pay it because its a free service. She will not budge. I tell her fine to take my info and all of my credit card info out of their system and that I would not use them again. Fast forward and they not only come (hen we are gone and didnt know) and they show up for the regular appointment. And to top it off, charged an old credit card they shouldnt have had IN THEIR SYSTEM. This is so wrong. I am disputing the last two charges because they were charged illegally and the service done was done without consent. This company is shady and refuse to work with me then charge my card after I told them to take off my info! This is not okay!!!

      The company sold me a limited term pest protection contract that expired last year. I was not happy with the service after multiple applications of the insecticide (We still have ants) so I cancelled the service last Fall via email and discussions with the technician when he did the last service. Now the company is telling me that they have treated the house again and are claiming that I still have a contract with them for more applications.
