On 8-6-2024 ~5:20pm a Saela sales rep disregarded our No Solicitation sign and rang our bell. This is the second sales rep in two weeks to visit our home and ignore our sign. The first rep who came out last week was very flippant and rude. He admitted he saw the sign but knocked anyway, giving a lame excuse of "thought it was from a previous owner". That isn't a valid defense. If the sign exists, you must obey it. Despite that, he continued to try to sell me even after it was clear he was not welcome on my property.Saela must immediately and permanently stop sending sales reps. I am not now, nor will I ever be interested in Saela's services. The first sales rep guaranteed that the second he ignored the sign.Business Response

I have had issues with this company overcharging me on there first visit received the overcharge back to my account then they charge me for services that were not performed, this company is the worst customer ********************** experience in my lifetime I told them after the first incident they did not have authorization to go in my account without my consent I cancelled all future technician work from them I've had the service 2 week and I'm being charged additional fees I didn't agree toBusiness Response

08/01/2024 Saela Pest Control violates Consumer Rights Regulations, has aggressive and shady sales tactics designed to confuse and pressure consumers into unnecessary upsales, and has dishonest customer **********************. This ********************** makes it near impossible to cancel service accounts and drags out the process to do so. I was passed to multiple customer ********************** representatives each stating they could not cancel my service and there was no one I could be transferred to that could do so.Business Response

Writing to file a complaint on behalf of the entire city of **********, **. Saela Pest control has been repeatedly knocking on doors that have already refused their services including our home, refusing to leave our property, ignoring no soliciting signs and outright lying about their services and products offered and their costs. Our entire neighborhood and now other in the city have all been dealing with the same issues and same sales tactics. This has gotten to the pojnt where it has to be a violation of UDAAP and completely illegal. Saela Pest Control should be punished for their business tactics and obvious training for their sales department.Business Response

I was approached by a salesman for the pest company in June. I had explained to him I already had a pest company and he started to point out spots in my yard that needed to be taken care of explaining that my current company wasnt cutting it. He told me he could easily get me out of my contract if I were to switch to his company. He wrote up an email for me had me send it to my old company and told me they couldnt continue to charge me. He then ensured that I could cancel at anytime with them. I was worried about signing a new contract due to us moving not even half way through the 12 month contract. He said I could absolutely cancel at anytime free of charge. He then quoted me a price that was half of what I originally paying showing me the full price at 159 but told me on special right now only for 100 every quarter. They came back within a month to my house charged me the full 159 plus tax and refused to let me cancel when I called to request termination of my contract. I feel like they use slimy sales tactics telling you whatever you want to hear to get you to sign with them. Meanwhile Im being harassed by my old pest company still. The email that was generated for me to send didnt do anything to help me switch over to them. I have been with this company for one month and they have already gotten $300 out of me and requesting $400 more just to cancel when I was promised I could get out of my contract at anytime.Business Response

Saela Pest Control fraudulently signed a contract with my name for monthly pest control services and they charged me $119 for services I never requested or contracted for. On 4/12/2024 Seala Pest control trespassed on my property and serviced my property after I had called them on 4/10/2024 to stop service since my obligation to them was fulfilled. They made an unauthorized charge of $98.79 against my bank account. After calling them again and being put on hold for 30+ minutes I requested a full refund but they only offered half. I told them I wanted a full refund due to me calling days prior to stop them from servicing my property which they ignored and done it anyway.Business Response

Today at 5:47pm a sales rep came by my house. He explained that new builds have rats and bugs & that it would be worth it for me to have pest control. I explained to him that I already had an exterminator come out. He continued to pry for the service and explained that someone could come out tomorrow to get me a quote. I agreed. Then I did my research and see that I was probably locked into a contract I did not agree to. I just wanted a quote. Maybe one service. I do not want a big contract like many of these customers have had to face. I attempted to reach out to their customer ********************** and they are conveniently closed. I have cancelled my credit card because I am so terrified of this company. I do not want any services from them in the future and I was told that the card was only to be stored for the appointment. I do not agree to any future or recurring charges. I would like peace of mind that this wont happen because I have no idea what me giving my name and information to the sales guy just did to the rest of my lifeI have no copy of a contract and I just filled out my name and everything on the iPad. On 15 May 2024, a Salesperson from Saelapest came to my home and sold me a pest control package and did not mention the detailed stipulations of cancelation of the contract. I recently tried to cancel my service and was told I would have to pay an extremely high cancelation fee for the 1-year contract I blindly signed up for. Now I cannot even cancel an upcoming appointment without talking to a manager, which seems very shady. If I had known this was an annual contract I would not have signed up for the service. The salesperson was very deceptive in his explanation of canceling the pest service.Business Response
