      We recently visited Action Automotive Utah with the intention of purchasing a 2020 **** Escape Hybrid. Our experience started off great, thanks to our salesman ***** who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. There was no pressure, and **** did a fantastic job throughout the process.However, our experience took a drastic turn for the worse when we dealt with the Finance Manager. As soon as we mentioned wanting a lower price, his demeanor changed completely. He became obstinate and dismissive. He claimed there was no wiggle room on the price because they only make $500 on the car by selling it. When we asked to see the invoice, he flat out refused, stating it was irrelevant and none of our business how much profit they made on the car. He also insisted that they were already selling the car for a thousand dollars below the clean value.When I pointed out that the car had been in an accident and had structural damage, his response was shockingly rudehe told us to go buy one somewhere else. His tone was angry and mean, and I have never been treated so poorly as a customer anywhere.We were ready to buy the car that day, but after such an unpleasant encounter, we decided to take our business elsewhere. It's disappointing that one person's unprofessional behavior can overshadow the excellent service provided by ****. We will not be returning to Action Automotive Utah and do not recommend it to others based on this experience.

It sounded like you were asking for quite a bit off of the price of the vehicle which we just weren't able to do.       Bought a used Camry recently. Figured out the brakes were bad a couple days later. No questions asked Action Auto stepped in and made sure it was taken care of. **** was awesome to work with, extremely patient while we figured out which one we wanted. Thanks again for taking care of us we love the car.

      Sales rep ****** was very kind, patient, and helpful in finding the ideal car. We kind of knew what car we wanted, kept it within our price range and felt no pressure to buy a specific car until we found out the day of purchase that another dealership wanted the vehicle we were interested in, so I felt an underlining pressure to purchase the vehicle. We were told to complete the financing application for the vehicle online because it was fast and easy but we didn't know that there was an online processing fee at the time of closing. We were shocked that $6,237 have gone towards other fees, taxes, and a car warranty which all didn't seem like we had a choice to opt out of. My trade value amount basically went towards all these excess fees. ******* the finance Manager was able to lower the original pricing of the vehicle a little, replacing the tires that were a bit worned out, and detailed the car. The day after taking the car off the lot I also learned that one of our back window motors does not work and there is a constant clicking, pumping sound coming from the passenger side in which I reported but I didn't not hear back from anyone if they were aware about these issues. As a buyer I was worried that there would be more hidden problems to pay for out of pocket which I wished I knew about before fully committing.

      People were nice but I did not like all of the extra non-negotiable costs when it came time to purchase the car. These are items that are added later, that are not negotiable and arent included in the cost thats advertised. For instance, a theft recovery option, that isnt an option but adds $700+ dollars to the ticket price advertised. This is a cost that you are not able to reject according to them as its added onto every vehicle they sell. If this is the case it should just be included in the advertised price and marketed as a benefit the dealership provides to their customers. However most of us have good insurance and thats what we pay them for. Also, most vehicles that are stolen are better off not being recovered for the owner as they are trashed shortly after the theft or sold as parts. Three additional fees to look out for are a $696 dealer doc fee Must be an amazing CPA $116 Temporary permit fee$79 Online filing fee.If these are truly additional costs the dealership has to incur to run their business it should be included in the price of the vehicle so you arent waisting time at the dealership having to discuss these and are surprised with when you sit down to finalize the sale. Most of us understand businesses have costs and are out to make a profit. Your market price should be reflective of your incurred costs plus whatever profit you are trying to achieve. If you have to spring additional costs onto your customers last minute you run a shady business. Additionally, if your profit margins are this low, that to get customers in the door you have to spring these extra charges on later, you should find better buyers at your auctions.

      One experience I cant stand is buying cars. Every time Ive ever gone to a large dealer I feel like I am being taken advantage of. When I went to Action Auto it was completely different. No pressure, straightforward answers, great communication. We found ourselves going back to them and trusting them with our decision because we felt they were true honest

      My experience buying a car this time was very pleasant. My salesman ********************* was very helpful and worked hard to get me a good deal and reliable car. The sales manager, *****, was very nice and accommodating and no pressure about anything, which I loved. It was a stress free buy and I felt very good about my new vehicle when I left.

      Staff was amazing really loved their energy and work ethic. Only problem I had was the car wasnt fully inspected and has some issues but they said they would look at it and hopefully fix it for no additional cost.
