There is a signed and verbal agreement between you and Fleetsmarts, which you were fully aware of before any filings were made. Publicly posting false and damaging statements like this can be considered defamation, and we reserve the right to take legal action if necessary.Weve noticed a pattern where some customersafter agreeing to our termstry to back out by threatening negative BBB reviews unless we cancel or change the agreement. Changing your mind does not void a legally binding contract, and using online reviews as leverage is not only unfair but dishonest.Were aware that some competitors are encouraging this kind of behavior, coaching customers to misuse the ******************** to pressure us. We take these matters seriously and will continue to protect our business from false claims.If you have a real issue, were open to resolving it directly. I looked at a few factoring companies and ended up going with FleetSmarts. Their rates are good, and their fuel card works at more places than some of the others I checked out. What really made the difference for me was how upfront they were every factoring company files a ***, but FleetSmarts didnt try to hide it or make it seem like something unusual. At first, I was surprised when I saw the *** filing, but my account manager explained that its standard for any company that provides factoring or a fuel credit line. I even checked with other factoring companies, and they all do the same thing. I appreciated the honesty instead of scare ********** far, everything has gone smoothly. They fund on time, got me a fuel advance right away, and even helped me finance my insurance down payment by breaking it into weekly payments. Their customer service has also been solid, I can actually get someone on the phone, even after hours, which has been a big plus.Fleetsmarts

Fleetsmarts by ************************** is the worst company. I've been having trouble with my account since the first deposit was made. The account manager asks questions and expects a reply back or he will ****** you till you answer yet when you asked a question, he doesn't reply back or never takes my calls. Fleetsmart we'll try to do what they can to keep you moving. Through fuel cards insurance funding for another vehicle, they will do what they can. To increase your chances of success, they have for me multiple times with all these options that I said.Fleetsmarts

BEWARE!!! Especially if you are starting your trucking business!When you sign for your DOT/MC number, you will get 100s of calls a day, it is insane! To the point that you start saying to these companies, "****, send me everything to my email." Trying to understand that they are also doing their job! But this company - they are GOOD - at scamming, manipulating, and trying to destroy a new company! Our experience: Fleetsmarts is claiming that WE are bound to a factoring and fuel discount/credit line agreement that we never signed. Furthermore, we are being prevented from conducting business with another company due to this false claim.WE have NEVER entered into a signed contractual agreement with Fleetsmarts for factoring services. As such, there is no legal basis for any obligation to remain tied to this company. Additionally, we find it highly inappropriate and unethical that Fleetsmarts is demanding a payment of $500 to release us from an agreement that does not exist.We have demanded the immediate release of any hold or restriction on Fleetsmarts, and they say that the two options are:Option 1: Proceed with payment of the $500 processing fee, and we will issue the Letter of Release (***) within 45 days of your original request.Option 2: We are willing to waive the $500 fee if you choose to try our services with genuine intent for 60 days. If, after this period, you still wish to discontinue, the *** will be issued at no additional ******* we answer back saying that we DID NOT want anything to do with them, and not they have the audacity to say that if we don't pay, there is no release letter. And again, WE have NOT had any kind of service with them and WE DID NOT have any agreement with them! They are scammers and charlatans!Fleetsmarts

We take all feedback seriously and would like to clarify the facts surrounding your account with **************************** a detailed internal investigation, including reviewing call records and listening to the full conversation, we confirmed that you spoke with our Senior Account Specialist, ********, on January 30, 2025, at 12:46:24 PM, for 13 minutes and 11 seconds. During that call, ******** explicitly explained the terms of service and our standard credit line procedure. Below is the relevant portion of the call transcript:********: Since you're in *******, I also wanna let you know that for us to be able to open up a credit line for fuel, we do file what's called the *** one, which basically registers us with the state as a payee and allows us to open that fuel credit line with no credit checks needed, OK?VALGO TRANSPORTATION SERVICES: OK dokey.********: So all of this information will be sent to you by email. So please, please do go through it.Your verbal acknowledgment of the ***-1 filing (OK dokey) served as clear consent to proceed. The documentation was sent to your email immediately after the call, as stated. At no time during or after this conversation did you request cancellation or express confusion about the terms.Let us be clear: Fleetsmarts did not scam or manipulate your company. This was a standard, recorded business interaction based on your authorization. Like many financial service providers, we file a ***-1 when opening a credit linethis protects both parties and is common industry practice.Regarding the $500 termination fee: this is not a random demand, but part of our standard termination process when a client decides not to move forward after agreeing to the setup.Additionally, we must highlight a recurring pattern we are seeing across many similar reviews. Some competitors are coaching carrierswho originally agreed to termsto later file misleading complaints and attempt to blackmail Fleetsmarts through negative BBB reviews unless we release them from their agreements. In your case, your team threatened to leave a negative review unless we waived the policy, which we cannot do for fairness and legal consistency.Lastly, Fleetsmarts is not preventing you from doing business with any other company. If another provider has refused to work with you because of a *** filing, that decision lies solely with them.We remain open to working with you professionally. After a rough patch of misunderstanding, my account manager Shemee, was more than willing to work with me to better serve my companys needs. For new MC or old, if factoring is what you need , I recommend that you look into Fleetsmarts for your financial stability.Fleetsmarts
