      No contact lenses 2 months after they were ordered. They will respond to this and say there is a "supply chain issue", but check the receipts. People who made orders in 2023 had the same problem. That's not a supply chain issue any more - it's a company competence and reliability issue. Standard Optical fails by any measure. Even without the contacts I haven't received, I can clearly see that this is a business that needs to close its doors. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

      Something needs to be done. Ordered 2 pair of glasses and contacts. Was told it would be 7 days for contacts, no 7 days, made 8 trips to ***** for loaners. No glasses yet. ****** later we cancelled contact order, cancelled one pair of glasses, received 1 pair 2 months later, they had the wrong lenses, and now told it may be months for new lenses they ordered 1 month ago. So this pair of glasses is over a year now. This is unacceptable ! We paid nearly 2000 for all this and no working glasses yet. Dishonest business.

      Ordered glasses in November got them in April. Waited all this time and when I finally got them,they were the wrong prescription looking to file a class action lawsuit. This business has no business being in business!!!

      It has been since December 8th, 2023, that I have not received my $500.00 glasses. I just tried calling them and the phone would just ring until it hung up. I am wondering if they have gone out of business. I think it was all a scam they have taken the money and are going to run.

      4 Months, and I still haven't received over $1,000 in glasses. I feel like my vision has probably changed again since they were ordered! No one answers the phone, text or email, and when you walk in, they say "sorry". No way will I ever use the West Point location again. Buyer Beware!!

      Literally the WORST company. We ordered contacts 2.5 months ago and they said they would be here in 3-4 weeks. We are now out of contacts. They said they would send us another trial pair and they havent. They wont update you even though they say they will. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

      I purchased glasses from Standard Optical (Sugar House, **), October 9, 2023 and was told it would be 5-10 business days to receive them. It's now March 13, 2024 and I have not received them. I've reached out to their ***************** ****** and made in-person visits for an update, only to receive "we can't provide you an update". Incredible waste of my time, and very unprofessional firm. I've had to reach out to my insurance to provide a claim as well as reverse my benefits, so the headache continues. Hopefully I will receive my reimbursement without any issues.

      I and my wife bought eye glasses in Standard Optical @Lehi store. The date of the invoice is October 2, 2023. I have been going to the store multiple times and their people keep telling me within two weeks it should be ready. Looks to me the two weeks is going to be like years or a decade. We still not have my eye glasses and it's already March 1, 2024. I suggest the store should refund and change name to Optical Nothing or close. Who ever own this Optical Standard store is NOT doing a standard way of of business. What a mistake, a huge regret and a bad turn going to this store.

      MOST PEOPLE WILL PROBABLY WAIT MONTHS FOR GLASSES AND CONTACTS. THEY ARE NOT ON BACK ORDER OR MANUFACTURING DELAYS.I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY W-2'S OR LAST CHECK AND I LEFT IN JULY. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN STANDARD OPTICAL PRACTICES AND THEIR TREATMENT OF LOYAL CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES, WITHOUT THE 2 YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS.
