The company first stated I was going to receive a free second ring with my order value of $195 or greater. They sent me a gray twig on a ball chain that my kid in grammar school could have made. On the day I received the ring I was flooded with calls e-mails and texts from the company telling me if I order now I would get 2 free rings with my order of one. Already upset and filed a complaint with them they said since the order was already full filled they would not honor the newer offer. I have asked for a full refund.Initial Complaint

The ring broke after wearing it for 4 days. I sent it back to them for repair a month ago and have not heard back from them since. Now, they have my ring in their possession and I have nothing and no information to go on.Initial Complaint

We placed an order in December for a men's wedding band. On the site was a well finished ring and what we received was nothing like the photos. The ring did not have proper engraving and was made incorrectly. When asked for a refund they refused stating that a jewelry maker won't accept "precious metals". The ring's actual metal content isn't even there.Initial Complaint

I had signed up for their notifications but I was getting alot of text messages from them so I went to unsubscribe from their list but the site would not allow me to unsubscribe. I blocked their number that I was recieving text from and then they started to call my phone more then once a day leaving two voice messages on my phone minutes apart from each other. I keep trying to block their numberds but they keep trying to call me and it is very irritating...Initial Complaint

Order placed on 9/6/2024.
It is now 5 weeks later. No tracking number, confirmation number or actual rings in the mail. I have reached out to customer service multiple times via email address provided on website and social media page for business. I just want my money back. We live in WNC and have been hit hard by a hurricane. My husband and I will be coming up on our 1 year anniversary soon. This is so sad and very frustrating. This business should have licenses revoked due to the lack of professionalism and blunt fraud they do with each unfulfilled order.Initial Complaint

The company advertises hand made rings as if they are individually created for you, by a single person. The very same rings can be found on Amazon for 50$. They don’t have a phone number to call. They don’t respond to emails. They claim they start to work on your ring right away which prevents them from cancelling or refunding orders.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Patrick Adair Design for their unacceptable business practices. I placed an order with them, and it has now been 16 weeks without any sign of my order being fulfilled. This extended wait time is far beyond what was initially promised.
Throughout this period, I have experienced extremely poor customer service. Attempts to contact their support team have been met with minimal responses and a complete lack of helpful communication. They have consistently failed to provide any updates or reasons for the delay.
Furthermore, when I requested a refund due to the excessive wait time and lack of communication, Patrick Adair Design outright refused to refund my money. This refusal is both frustrating and unacceptable, given the circumstances.
I urge the BBB to take appropriate action against Patrick Adair Design to address these issues and ensure that other customers do not experience the same level of poor service and unprofessionalism.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.Initial Complaint

I placed the order at the end of March was told it would take until the middle of May for the ring to be delivered. Here we are the middle of May and haven't heard a single thing from this company. I want a full refund. If the ring mysteriously shows up at my residence I will be sending it backInitial Complaint

On 1/30/2024, I purchased a custom ring from Patrick Adair. I met with them virtually prior to this purchase to show examples directly from their website of what I was trying to achieve for the ring, which was to be made from a combination of meteorite and carbon fiber. I wanted to obtain this prior to my wedding, which would take place May 4, 2024. I was told the turnaround would likely be around 6 weeks (the email later said 2-8 weeks). I received the order April 8th. The ring was lacking in quality, jagged, not smooth, seams between materials were not aligned, and the material was not at all as pictured on their website. It was not a slight variation - it was a drastic one. I emailed the company as soon as I could to express my dissatisfaction. While they did offer to have the item shipped back to them to try to re-work it or exchange it for something else on their site, the time until my wedding is just a few weeks away and there would not be enough time to rectify this. I did not want to have a different ring. I purchased this custom ring because we wanted something specific and because my fiance is allergic to certain materials. Due to the short turnaround, I was forced to buy a ring elsewhere, something different than we'd originally wanted, in order to have it in time for the upcoming wedding. I asked for a refund from Patrick Adair since there was no way to rectify this in time for the wedding and the error was theirs and I had not received anything remotely close to what was supposed to be being sold to me. They stated that they do not provide returns for rings with the materials used in our custom order. While I could understand this in the case that I just wanted to return it, I do not think they should be allowed to sell an item in this material, completely ruin the item and not provide what was asked for, and then refuse to offer a refund.
