ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! I did a refi with Rocket Mortgage in October 2024 to get away from ***. The payoff check was sent on 11/04/2024 but was sent back because they said it wasn't the right amount. Took them almost 2 weeks to figure out they weren't getting what they wanted so now I have to make another payment to them while also making a mortgage payment to Rocket Mortgage. I almost had my house go on the auction block because they didn't make the property tax payment from my escrow account either. Still considering a lawsuit. They are a predatory lender and hope they are investigated or better yet shut down permanently. If your mortgage is sold to them got to another lender as soon as possible!!!!

I wouldnt wish this mortgage servicing company on my worst enemy. They literally cant get anything right. I pay into an escrow account that is supposed to pay my taxes and insurance. Neither of these bills have been paid. Now they have over $25,000 of my money sitting in account tagged to pay these bills but neither has been paid. I requested the money be distributed to me so that I could make the payments. Original request was submitted on Aug. 28. Its now Oct. 8 and they are telling me that they wont have an update until Oct. 28. Meanwhile my insurance has expired and my tax bill now includes late fees

Where do I even begin? My loan was switched over to *** and *** had all the wrong tax Information. After contacting them for months about this issue, they reassured me it would be fine, they managed to increase my monthly payments an additional $1000!! They now refuse to help with me an assistance program or any option, Im now going to be behind on my payments due to SPS neglect . The **** dont know anything, they cant help you. No supervisor on my account, they are an absolute nightmare and should be shut down. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible service, refinanced through a different lender and SPS did the closing recording incorrect which has lead to a lien being placed on the paid off mortgage. Been calling them for months and escalating explaining in detail that I need the recording corrected to pull the lien so I can get an equity loan through my new provider. They say give them ************************************************************** the documents then I received a copy of the original stating it was a valid recording but no correction so I'm still at a stalemate with getting the loan. I have called and authorized my closing lawyer multiple times to call in on the old account and when they called they are denied not being an authorized caller. I have been calling SPS and escalating for 2= months now with no real action besides ( We're researching it )

This is a very unprofessional company, I feel as though I am being scammed and really don't owe the debt. This loan was transferred from *********** a mortgage loan company as of July *******. and was informed it would take 30 days to set the account up. I received a statement dated July 31/ 2024. On or around July 30, 2024, I attempted to setup an on-line account only to get the message that the loan could not be found. I called *** and spoke with one of their representative and was informed me that a payment could be taken over the phone and to give SPS a few more days and the matter would be corrected. On August 23, I again attempted to setup an on-line account to make a payment only to get the same response that the loan could not be found based on the identifiers in which I was using. I tried using the loan number in which was provided from ***, I tried using my SS#, and phone number and still got the same response. I proceed to call SPS to inquire what the issue was, only to be told they would look into the matter and saw that a ticket for this issue had been issued on this matter and to give them a few more days and that Statebridge did not send them any of the identifiers which are used to setup an account. I was also informed that maybe I wanted to try setting up this account using my ex-husband information, which I do not have and inquired why it could not be setup using my information as I am the primary on the account and the one making the payments I received a statement from SPS dated 08/15/24call in to make a payment on the account, which is still not setup, I sent an email with a copy of my SS# asking that it be assigned to loan only to be told again that maybe I should try setting it up under my ex-husband SS#., I again inquired as to why this account could not be setup under my identifiers as again I am the one making the payments. On September 4, 2024 I received a call from *** about a payment. Please assist me. Thank

They call you one day after loan payment is due to see "how you plan to take care of it" even though it's not past due until the 15th. Here's the kicker..it's an auto payment and the reason it was a day late is because it was a three day holiday weekend. Poor customer service.. treat you like a collection agency

If I could rate SPS a ZERO I would ! I'm 66 and I am always making my payment on or about 9th to 15th for the current month and they would start collection calls as soon as the 5th of the month constantly calling for my payment. After 2 years of harassment I had to consult a senior advocate and demand for them to stop and so they they said they transfered my loan to ********, well Rushmore is now a part of ***. They try intimidating collections tactics when unwarranted by saying I am technically late as of 2nd of each month. FO SPS trying to foreclose or harass. Time for a class action suit !!!

Select Portfolio Servicing, Inc.P.O. Box *********************************** August 30, 2024 This is a complaint letter about your companys customer service. There should be improvements in your call center. The employees may know they are being reordered or not and if so it appears they do not care. The disrespect to customers, some are not knowable about the subject one is being asked about. If one does not know, say it and ask for help. A few months ago, I ran into the same problem with the agent ********, March 14, 2024 about 4:57 CST. I ask for a manager and or to have one call me back. Somehow the call was deconned, dropped and to this day I have not received a call from anyone in management. Most of my calls with your employees have not been pleasant at all. Major improvements are needed in your call center/customer service department. I would not recommend your company to anyone, but the consumer does not really have a choice because these loans are sold off time and time again. This company is a debt collector with a fancy name. I really do not know why Mortgage companies do this.Thank you,

They overcharged for late payments and took payments over the phone. They have owed me a refund check since May 2024. Every time I call, I get the same lie: We just mailed it. There is no need to record the conversation; they continue to lie to consumers.

My last servicer did not charge to make payment. SPS charges $5 to make a payment online and $15 to make a payment over the phone.
