The sales person for Aptive Environmental rang my **** on 6/30/22 and told me there regular price for their service was $279 for the year for their quarterly service, but that if I signed up that day he could offer me $100 discount and I would only pay $179 for the entire year. I agreed and he said he could send his service people same day for the initial spray and inspection of my house. Before he charged my card I again asked if the $179 he was charging was for the entire year of service and he said yes. He said they would spray today and come back next month for a follow up and then it would be quarterly visits. On 7/25/22 they came for the follow up spray. This morning I got an email receipt for $190.86 for yesterdays service. I was confused so I clicked on the email which took me to my account portal. When I reviewed my billing I saw that I was charged $297.48 on 6/30/22 for the initial service that was supposed to be $179 and then charged $190.86 for the service on 7/25 that according to their sales person was supposed to be included in the $179 initial payment. I would like to be refunded for what ever I spent on this fraudulent business and I want my service contract canceled. After reading reviews on your website I noticed this is a pattern with this company. I appreciate anything that can be done.My account # is *******

7/22/2022 - An ****** aggressive, pushy salesman (Hunter) came twice to my home. Once during the day (which I didn't answer) and again in the evening at 5:30pm. I answered the door at 5:30pm and he started giving me his sales pitch. I let him know 6 different times that I wasn't interested, yet he continued to give his pitch, even while I was closing my screen door. I finally told him that he needed to leave my property, which he did not, and continued to give his pitch. I told him that my property was under surveillance and that I have asked him to leave. I let him know that he would be considered trespassing at this point. I had to tell him an additional 4 times to leave my property before he finally left. All while he told me to calm down, "its just bugs". As he was finally leaving my property, he grabbed his segway (which he had parked in my grass) and muttered under his breath "no reason to get weird about it".Google reviews are littered with similar instances and its clear that this company has predatory sales tactics. I called the company and asked to file a complaint. I explained what had happened, and even gave the license plate (MN plate ******* of the truck that was with him. At the time, I didn't catch his name until I reviewed the video back again. The company told me on the phone they couldn't do anything because I didn't have his name, but they were sorry that was my experience. In reading the BBB complaints on this site, it appears people are being added to the no solicitation list with the company. I want to be added to that list, so as to not have to ever deal with this company again. If they come back, I will be forced to call the police and file trespassing charges.
