      Aptive Environmental solicited us while we were working in our yard, and told us of their amazing pest control services. The solicitor was a friendly young man who was from ************** and staying in a hotel to help them here in *******, *******. The initial service is $79 and they would do a follow-up visit within 30 days after application. We agreed to use their service, and he asked us to sign the agreement on his tiny ipad screen. We texted salesperson after 2 weeks because the bugs and ants were STILL bad. About 14 days after 1st application a different person came out and left drops quarter size and smaller on floors along my baseboards. I asked him if he was gonna clean them up, which he replied they would dry. WHAT? I had to sponge mop all along the baseboards of my home. I asked him to please check the paper tents under my sinks for bugs, whick the 1st person left. When he pulled one out it was stuck to my dental floss package, ick!! He said he didn't have any replacements on his truck. We were then shocked to see Aptive had pulled another $115. out of our back account. After speaking and emailing with 3, different representatives over a period of several days Aptive, FINALLY refunded our $115. We were not made aware of the 2nd charge, ONLY the first $79.The 2nd application was a follow-up. At this time the customer service person offered us a $30. coupon which we could use for future. And we would have another return visit in 30 days, which would be $100. which we could apply that $30. I told them we would consider the value and she would phone to see what we decided. After 2 applications, we were dissatisfied with (NO) results so we called to ask the company NOT TO RETURN. We were informed that we would have to pay $199 cancellation fee to cancel the services!!The customer service person said she would allow me to use the $30. toward the $199. fee but this was not usually offered as it was supposed to be for future services.Read your agreement

      On July 27, 2022 a tech was due to come out and spray interior/exterior of home. I work from home and was home all day (actually in a meeting at the time the tech states he was at our home). I called CS (Heather) and sent a picture showing that the my cameras around my house did not have anyone from their company at my house. Heather sent an email that night stating the only solution was to re-service and $30 credit. We did not agree to that and the next day before I could call the company, they credited $30 but charged us $79 without our permission. Called back to CS (Dawn) who transferred and on hold then got pushed to a voicemail. Three hours later called back (Wan & Stephanie). Nobody contacted us to tell us what was going on. I called on 7/31/22 and spoke with Kia who said the refund was denied. I stated again that the tech did not perform any services, we want a refund, due to all of this we cancelled our contract on 7/28 and I stated if we cannot get this resolved through CS then I want someone who can. Kia stated she would call me back in a day or two and let me know if they would be refunding us and if not then she would have a contact person for me. We just want our refund of $79 for a service that was NOT performed and do not want them back out.

      More than twice in the past year I've had individuals soliciting for this business at my door. One came at 8pm and the other not much before it. They bang loudly on my door and despite my immediate we are not interested we have a pest control company we already use they are very aggressive. Being a single female homeowner they seem predatory and I am extremely uncomfortable. They do not have a public form available on their website to get people to stop coming. I want them to never come again especially not at these late hours with these predatory males being ****** aggressive.

      Despite no solicitation postings in compliance with the code in our neighborhood, Aptive (pest control services) continues to solicit. Ive asked now the fourth representative to come by our house to please take us off their list. They are rude and continue to ****** us despite polite requests to please leave.

      This company will not leave our neighborhood alone. They send aggressive salesmen that continue to come despite our declined response. They trespass on our property and ignore the no soliciting signs we just put. They won't take no for an answer and are extremely rude.

      It is Aptive's policy to respect No Solicitation signs and to never trespass on any property. Due to the lack of information regarding the location of this complaint, we are unable to follow up on the enforcement of these policies with the correct management.

      If this individual is willing to provide a street name and town, that should be sufficient for an investigation and enforcement of property Sales etiquette.

      On Friday, 7-8-22 an Aptive technician came to my house to spray inside and outside to remove an insect (flea) infestation. I called their company on Monday, 7-11-22, to tell them the treatment didn't work and I was still getting several bites. They came back on Thursday, 7-14-22, to spray again. I called the following Monday, 7-18-22, to tell them it still wasn't working, so they sent another technician out to spot spray my furniture, rugs, etc with a stronger solution. It still didn't work. I was told at the beginning that there was a 100% guarantee that they could remove the infestation. I callled to request a refund. I was on hold for almost 30 minutes, when the representative heard why I was calling she said I had to talk to the ****************** and transferred me. After 65 minutes on hold, a recording came on and said they would call me back. They didn't. Apparently, refunds are not a priority to be dealt with on a timely basis.Each time I called and asked for a refund, they talked me into scheduling another appointment. Now I want a refund.

      This company sent a group of men into our neighborhood and nearby neighborhoods to sell their services door to door. Our neighborhood Hills of Rivermist does not allow soliciting and has signs stating that. Many houses have no soliciting signs as well but these are ignored. It has been reported that some of these men have tried doorknobs and banged on doors or windows repeatedly in addition to ringing a doorbell. At my house I watched through my ring camera as a man knocked repeatedly at my door and stood on my front porch for some time. There are multiple reports and sightings of issues with aggressive behavior of these salespeople. To hear that one was trying a doorknob and another walked into a woman's garage while she was unloading her car is downright scary and threatening.

      Signed up for service 6/30/22. Service explained as quarterly. 1st service 7/2/22. 2nd service set up 8/1/22. Cost going to be 5x $129.00 for year not 4x $129 as described by salesman. Could not get resolution with customer service therefore terminated service which cost me $199. Did not get agreement till after the fact in signing up. Deceptive practice in telling you it's quarterly not telling you another service required a month later at $129. Refused to push 2nd service to 90 day after 1st service therefore I canceled.

      Repeated instances of pushy sales people coming to door despite NO SOLICITING sign. Irritating and rude.

      I called Aptive Environmental on 7/22 at 4:29pm to cancel my pest control subscription. I spoke with a representative who took my information and inquired as to why I wished to cancel. I stated that it's due to the fact that I have to purchase a new hvac system for my home. The representative put me on hold briefly and then returned and informed me that I would have to speak with a Loyalty Manager. I was again put on hold for a few minutes until the representative returned once again and stated that all of the Loyalty Managers were busy but assured me that someone would call me back. I have yet to receive that call nor should I need to speak with anyone else after I have requested cancellation. A tactic to avoid cancellation or prolong the subscription, I'm sure. The Aptive representative who initially visited my home, initialed and signed my name to the subscription contract, prior to emailing it to me the next day. I'm quite sure that this is yet another tactic to dissuade the customer from actually reading the contract. In *****************, this is known as forgery and is quite unlawful. Perhaps if Aptive were more honest with their customers, they would build a more loyal customer base.
