1 starThey refused to issue a refund after I sold my car. The dealer and I made over 50 calls, requesting the cancellation on July 18. We received a partial refund in October due to their system issues. The refund was supposed to be $1,767.83, but I received a check for $1,617.76. I would attach a picture if possible. I'll also leave reviews on other platforms to alert others about their questionable practices.(They are certainly scam- save your money)Review fromEric H

Alpha Warranty, truly does not care about the customer. You purchase a **********************, thinking that it is a nice security blanket to have, just in case something goes wrong. But as soon as you need them, here comes ****************** of, nit picking and resistance. A person is already stressed about your vehicle being down. Then here comes the added stress of being slow rolled, and without your transportation way longer then you should have to be. Your claim gets passed to different agents, and you can't speak with the person handling you claim. They do everything possible to come up with a way out of paying for a claim. The way these contracts are written, should be against the law. How do you cover the components of something, and not the housing that the components come in. These contracts are deceptive and trickery, at it's finest.Alpha Warranty Services, Inc.

Dear BBB, an Alpha Warranty service contract provides repair coverage for the contract holder's vehicle. There are certain requirements clearly outlined in the contract. When a vehicle is brought into a repair facility, the mechanics diagnose the problem as best they can. Sometimes, that diagnostic process requires some disassembly in order to determine if the point of failure is covered by the service contract. In many cases, it is completely covered. However, in some cases, the cause of failure isn't covered and therefore, the disassembly to determine the problem isn't either. Alpha Warranty genuinely strives to help each contract holder because we understand that vehicle repairs are an area of stress. It's just that sometimes, the repairs are simply not covered by the terms of the contract.Review fromMike a

Dear BBB, we're sorry ************** was dissatisfied with the coverage he has received from his Alpha Warranty service contract. While a few of the repairs to his vehicle were not covered due to them simply not being eligible due to the terms of his service agreement, Alpha Warranty has been pleased to have been able to pay nearly $2,500 for covered repairs.Review fromJoseph H

Extremely misguiding throughout the claims process. I was told that I have a "Complete Drivetrain Warranty" on a 2013 GMC Yukon Denali. The vehicle went down 24 days after purchase. I was told the lifters and camshaft failed due to the *********** Management System in the vehicle, which is factory installed. Alpha dragged their feet throughout the process, after informing them of getting ahold legal representation, they finally granted work to be done, but only partial payment would be made. The rest is on me. Who'd come to the reality that GASKETS are not part of a repair on an engine??? I always thought that those were essential for the engine to work, oh, I don't know, properly??? Very dissatisfied and disappointed in this "company". One star is the lowest I can go, apparently.Alpha Warranty Services, Inc.

Dear BBB, we're very sorry ****************** has been dissatisfied with the claims process to have his high-mileage vehicle repaired. Despite his dissatisfaction, we are pleased to be able to authorize his claim for more than $3,000 for the repair he needs. When our claims team called ****************** and informed him of the authorization, he began to complain about the length of time the claim was in and we should've worked on it over the weekend and also complained about the limit of liability of the service contract he purchased. He was advised that we are closed on the weekends and that vehicle repairs are covered under the terms of the contract. Alpha Warranty relies on the repair facility to provide accurate diagnostic information in order for our certified mechanics to understand the nature of the failures and to determine coverage, so when there is a delay in receiving that information, the claim cannot move forward. In many cases, the repair is covered under the terms of the contract. In others, only a part of the repair qualifies for coverage, which is the case with ******************' repair. In every case, however, Alpha Warranty Services holds to the highest standards of customer care within the terms of the service contracts we sell.Review fromAustin Z

1 starEven though water pumps are covered under my warranty, I am being told that water pump "housing" is not covered. This is simply a part of the water pump and, when broken, requires the entire water pump to be replaced. How can one component of a COVERED part not be covered?Review fromMarina K

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!they're a fraud they make it sound so good at the time of the purchase of the warranty but when your car breaks down they drag it out play games and at the end you end up still paying out of pocket. I bought a used ******* from the dealer that promised me that this is the best warranty to have since it has no deductible and they "COVER EVERYTHING EXCEPT BRAKE PADS" Not only the dealer lied to me but the warranty did too. My car broke down within couple of weeks after purchase took it to the McLaren dealer and the head aches started. Not only did they not cover the full labor rates they didn't cover some of the repairs stating its previous damage. Long story short I paid over $4k out of pocket for repairs. Now fast forward 9 months and my car started overheating took it to the dealer again and again head aches started all over again. They cover the thermostats but don't cover a coolant. I don't know how you can change a thermostat without dumping the coolant. And the coolant for this car is $250. And I also have a transmission issue and they said they're not covering because the oil has contamination with coolant (which is caused because the car over heated). Long story short they are not covering the transmission even if they did they only cover $20,000 in total repairs which I wasn't told when I purchased the warrant for $40k. The price for the transmission is $65k. Even the smallest problems are an issue with this company. Currently in a process of filing a lawsuit against the dealer and then I will be filing with the department of insurance complaint and a suit for bad faith for Alpha warranty. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS WARRANTY COMPANY THEY'RE SCAMMERS!!!!!Alpha Warranty Services, Inc.

Dear ************************, were very sorry your experience with Alpha Warranty Services has not met your expectations with your McLaren 570S. The A+ *********************** contract you purchased is an item-specific product and therefore covers repairs as outlined in the contract. Alpha Warranty uses an industry-respected auto repair standard service to determine the average labor cost by geographic area. In your case, the repair facility that is working on your vehicle charges a higher labor rate than the average, which is why it wasnt fully covered. In addition, many of the repairs needed on your McLaren turned out to be pre-existing conditions that were present prior to you purchasing the vehicle and were identified by your mechanic. The other repairs needed on your vehicle that werent offered for coverage were not eligible since the service contract simply doesnt cover them. Having said all this, Alpha Warranty Services is pleased to be able to cover more than $6,500 with a $0 deductible towards the repairs to your McLaren.Review fromMarvin S

Dear BBB, the reason ****************** claim was not covered under the terms of his service contract was that the parts that failed on his vehicle are simply not included. Alpha Warranty Services consistently stands behind every service contract within the terms of the agreement.Review fromBrandi L

DONT WASTE YOIR MONEY! Wishing I would have looked here before I bought! The cost for the plan is more than it covers! All the verbiage they want you to see is 2years/24,000 miles coverage but in fine print on page 5 you will read the limits-which again are less than the plan costs once its paid off.Alpha Warranty Services, Inc.

Dear BBB, We're sorry this customer was dissatisfied with the service coverage on the high-mileage vehicle she just purchased. Vehicles with very high mileage are more prone to costly repairs than vehicles with lower mileage. In her case, Alpha Warranty was pleased to be able to provide $3,000 in coverage for her truck just a few weeks after she purchased it. However, she's correct in that with the second repair her vehicle required within a short time after the first one, the limit of liability she had paid for was exceeded, preventing Alpha Warranty from covering any future problems.Review fromJohn U

1 starTerrible customer service, I have the A+ policy and they basically told me my vehicle has to blow up before they will cover anything. GMC dealership/mechanic argued with 3 different claims adjusters that refuse to cover the pistons and rings that my policy is supposed to cover. ******** says rings are not reusable had to put new rings in but yet the warranty says that the rings are "good enough". Please nobody go through this warranty company
