I was tricked into believing I was working with the hotel directly. They emailed me a confirmation. I arrived at my hotel to find out there was no reservation. I booked again at the hotel desk. Now I see my credit card has been charged twice. Upon contacting Reservation Counter they refuse to issue a refund. This has been a scam from the get go.Reservation Counter, LLC

Do not book with this company!! Be careful when you are online and think you are booking with the hotel directly, be sure to ask who you are speaking with and who they work with. I asked for the lowest available rate. I was quoted a price and then I was charged an additional price for a booking fee that I was not told about. When I complained the representative booked another room for me at the same hotel for a lower price. I was told his manager would cancel and refund the 1st resv. That didnt happen, Ive been emailing back and forth for weeks now and they are still trying to charge me for two reservations for the same night. Very bad company!!!! I placed a reservation online with a Days Inn in ****************, **. Showed up to check-in and was advised that they were unable to check me in and if I wanted a refund, I would have to contact the 3rd party we used to book with. The attendant at the desk was rude and unwilling to provide me with any information. I sent 4 emails to Reservation Counter and made 2 calls with no immediate response. Finally, a month later I get an email from ****** stating -"We have reviewed your complaint regarding the cancellation policy associated with your reservation and found that our agent read the entire cancellation policy to the caller before the reservation was completed." I did not make this reservation over the phone; it was completed online. So, this tells me they have not "reviewed" anything. I believe this is some system generated response they send out. "******" then adds that "As a courtesy, our team has contacted our hotel partner on your behalf. However, they informed us that they are not willing to make an exception due to the cancellation policy that was provided and agreed upon by you at the time of booking. As a result, a refund was not granted."The rude clerk at the front counter stated they have taken NO MONEY FROM ME and I need to call the 3rd party company, "the issue of funds will be with them." My understanding is there is NO CANCELLATION POLICY - I DID NOT CANCEL. The hotel just would not check me in. At this point the money is not the issue. My issue is with how unethical all of this is. The company has taken my money and basically lied to me. They have stated they read to me the terms, but they have never spoken with me. This is a lie and quite insulting. They act as if I somehow don't someone remember what I did. If anything, I just want to warn others, PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING ONLINE AND DO NOT USE RESERVATION COUNTER.Reservation Counter, LLC

On June 26, 2022 I made reservation through this organization to stay at the ****************** in ****, **** for November *****. Unbeknownst to us the fee was deducted from our credit card on that date and then credited back to our account 2 days later. When we arrived at the hotel on November 20, 2022, it was closed. No one, neither Reservation Counter or ****************** had contacted us to let us know that the hotel would be closed. Clearly Reservation Counter had knowledge of this and thus had refunded our money to our credit card account. We arrived and the hotel was closed and we had to scramble to find another place to stay. I called Reservation Counter and they said they were sorry; they would refund my money, and did I realize they were not the actual hotel. But as I said they had realized something was amiss in June, but neglected to notify us of the situation. Also during that phone call the agent I spoke with didn't seem to have any knowledge that the fee charged for the hotel had been credited back to us in June. He said instead that he would have our money refunded back to us in 3-5 business days. This never happened and I continued to call and then finally checked our credit card statement to discover that it had been credited back to us in June. Finally the agent I spoke to at the end of December had the correct information. But you can see the miscommunication and lack of communication to us and the hardship that it caused.Reservation Counter, LLC

Worst reservation experience ever! Price quoted was lower than other websites. However after adding FEES and taxes, the price jumped over all other prices! Fee just for booking was $15.99! None of this was discussed before I gave my credit card info. Before hanging up I received the confirmation email and then requested to cancel my reservation. NO cancellations. Maybe (in 4 to 5 business days) they will decide to cancel my reservation! They were VERY deceptive!!!Reservation Counter, LLC

reservationdesk.com is part of Travelpass group and is the worst booking company ever. Do not use reservationdesk.com to book any sort of travel plans. You will get ripped off and will never get any sort of communication that makes sense. You will waste your money and hours of your time waiting on the phone to talk to someone and then they will transfer you about 5 times and each time ***** minutes wait time. If you are requesting a refund you will get no response and no money back. This is the worst booking company ever and should be listed as a scam. They answer the phone "reservation desk" so you think your talking to the front desk at the hotel. They book your room and take your money and then you will never hear from them again. They actually have a phone number but if you call you will be waiting a long time to talk to a person and they put you on hold, then the twiddle their thumbs for **** minutes (hoping you hang up) and then they say I have to talk to my supervisor and your on hold again for ***** minutes and then they come on saying the supervisor is on another call and please hold, this goes on for an hour but no action is taken and no refund is given. Had I gone online, I could have saved the $98.00 I was overcharged by this company. I used my cell phone to book this reservation and did NOT notice the tiny letters [ad]; I thought I was talking to the resort front desk. At check-in, I was told that the reservation was made by a third party [Expedia] and that the room rate was $220.00 per night, including tax. I was quoted an original amount of $450.00 per night -- discounted to $288.00 -- and had to pay another fee to the resort upon check in. Had I gone to Expedia.com, the rate was $229.00 per night when I pulled it up. Reservation Counter, LLC advertises: easy savings, excellent support, best deals. NOT TRUE!Reservation Counter, LLC

Our apartment was being fixed for an unknown amount of time and we were advised to book through the agency. I was advised by their agent we would be booked in such a way that if we needed to stay the full estimated days we would be set, and if we needed to leave early we would only be charged the nights stayed in the hotel. They said the only way yo do that was to book us directly through the hotel after I confirm with their front desk which we did. Then instead of booking us through the hotel they did it through a third party site which has made it impossible to get a refund for the days we didnt stay at the hotel even though the hotel is willing to refund, reservation counter will not admit they gave me false information and booked me through a third party against their own advice. My request for a refund for nights not used has been approved by the hotel itself but the three people Ive spoken to at reservation counter including the supervisor ******* have said my refund inquiry was denied and will only be refunded if they review the recording from when I booked which I said was fine then was met with an attitude about it may take some time for them to get around to that. They booked me for a hotel for 9 nights (we only stayed 2 of those) through a non refundable site against my wishes and then said that its not their problem that we only stayed two nights and that the **** dollar charge would not be reversed. They also charged me ***** without letting me know there was a booking fee. DO NOT USE THEM, Book yourself. Save yourself the headache, these people are incompetent and unable to take responsibility for their mistakes and will cost you money to completely s**** you over and mess up your reservation instead of making it easier as promised.Reservation Counter, LLC

They deceived me. When I did a search for Staybridge suites I pulled up the website that I thought was legit. It had the address and photos and then a phone number to call. I thought it was Staybridge Suites but it was Reservation Counter. They never said who they were when I booked with them. They misled me on the cost and rules of the hotel. I tried cancelling the reservation with Staybridge Suites which they did, but I got charged by Reservation Counter for not cancelling thru them. No hope of getting my money back. Next time I will be more careful. This fraudulent company needs to be shut down.Reservation Counter, LLC

This company is by far the worst I've EVER worked with. They are not willing to work with customers of the companies they make the reservations for. Also, they're listed on the main page of the hotels that you are trying to make your reservation with. BE CAREFUL ... MAKE SURE YOU CONTACT THE ***** DIRECTLY.
