Placed online order on January 4th 2023, for several items including solar panel for trail camera for 59.99 order number **********. Panel arrived someone around the 15th of January 2023, poorly packaged and flopping around in the shipper. Panel worked initially until Feb 17th 2023 then stopped working and internal battery won't hold a charge. Contacted customer service and spoke with Catalina who informed me she would not be able to assist me because it was out of the company policy by a few days. I questioned her lack of empathy or desire to provide me with any resolution under the circumstances and she simply said she could screenshot me a copy of the policy and email it to me. Poor customer service experience and complete lack of interest by this company to do the right thing and support the products they sell. I have had this item for less than 40 days and now it's broken and I'm out 59.99 plus tax. Company should do the right thing and provide me with an exchange. On 1/27/2023 I used the bank issued credit card "rewards card" store named that you can only use it in there store. Trying to use it and the on-line transaction fail saying different states 2 items . both the shipping address are in Delaware one is a firearm the other ammo. the firearm was meet to go to a ffl in my state by law so they were the same state as my address and state the ammos to go .so I call the bank behind the store rewards card issuer and it says 429 pending charge. So I called the on-line store to see if was processed and it wasnt. They could process it either . the on-line help said it received a message on there computer saying contact a on-line rep and she giggled saying I am a on-line rep. Now I can not process the action and have 429 pending charge on something that even the rep COULD NT GET TO WORK. wE EVEN TRIED PROCESSING OVER THE PHONE AS 2 SEPARATE TRANSACTIONInitial Complaint

On 12/17/2022 I received a item tracking notification email from Sportsman's that an item (Mossberg 88 Field & Security Shotgun) was in stock and available to be delivered to the Sportsman's store in Henrietta, NY by 12/26/2022. (see Back in Stock email attachment).
I immediately placed an online order for the item in the amount of $259.19 and received confirmation from Sportsman's (see Order Confirmation email attachment).
After receiving no communication from Sportsman's, on 01/08/2022 I contacted Sportsman's via their web site contact portal.
On 01/09/2023 I received two emails from Sportsman's regarding the cancellation of my order and responded (see Order Inquiry, Order Cancellation, and Response emails).
On 01/09/2022 PM I phoned Sportsman's Customer Service and spoke to Kirk. I wanted to know why the order was cancelled without my permission and asked that the order be fulfilled. Kirk would not fulfill the order or backorder the item. He suggested that place online tracking for the item. The order I am placed for this item was made in response to Sportsman's online tracking app, so that system did not work.
I am asking that BBB intervene such that Sportsman's fulfills my order
Summary
Sportsman's Warehouse offered an item for sale and I accepted, thus a contract was made.
The terms of the contract were agreed upon, and a Purchase Order was made (**********).
The contract consideration was in the amount of $259.19
Sportsman's failed to fulfill the order and cancelled the order without my agreement. No acceptable remedy was offered.
It is possible that Sportsman's has fraudulently offered items for sale that they do not possess. It is also possible that Sportsman's was negligent in their failure to fulfill the order because of a faulty inventory control system.
I am asking that BBB intervene for an acceptable remedy.Initial Complaint

I ordered a rifle at this store online a couple of weeks after they notified me that they canceled my order because it was out of stock so I ordered my riffle from some place else. Then a week after I received an email that my riffle was shipped when they said it was canceled and they charged me for it $1425. I ordered an item, they immediately said we can’t complete order but pulled 800.61 dollars from my account. I contacted seller and they said it’s pending and will reverse in a week. I applied for a credit card which was supposed to give me 0% financing for purchases over $999.00 there is a 12 month interest free period. I have learned that I have been getting charged interest for the account and the company is not cooperating. They told me that there would be a promotion notated on my account if I was supposed to qualify for one. In the credit agreement it lays out the zero percent agreement. I have had nothing but problems with this company from the very first contact. I need help to get them to return the money they owe.Initial Complaint

I had to wait two days to make this complaint because I was so devastated and emotional from my treatment. I ask that corporate pull the recorded call as the laughing cannot be communicated by this description alone. On 12/20/22 at approx. 5pm I attempted to complete my Christmas shopping for my son and grandfather after selling a ring for the remaining money needed to purchase two handguns I have been watching for months. I put my last $900 in my account and went through all the usual steps to complete an onlilne order. Upon clicking the button to complete my order I received a pink banner at the top of the screen saying there was a problem completing my request and to try again later or call the the 800 number for customer service. As I called customer service I checked my bank and was shocked to see that the $878 and change I was PENDING from my bank account. A quick check to my email and I confirmed there was no order. Upon connecting I attempted to explain that this error had taken my money and my ability to purchase gift DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!! After explaining my situation a completely monotone woman gave THE WORST attempt at fake sympathy and gave me NO SOLUTION AT ALL. I asked to speak with her manager and was transfered to Cameron. Cameron was not just terrible at feigning sympathy, she was actually snide. No attempt to contact any other department for options, no solutions, no attempt to complete my transaction. Bringing me to tears as she took great pleasure (completely unable to hide the laughter in her voice) as she gave me 10% off coupon that was not good for ANYTHING I WANT. When I asked for the corporate office number she took even more pleasure in giving me her own number again so she could answer the phone again in SMUG SATISFACTION to repeat herself again. My checking account is empty... i have nothing left to sell...., $$ STILL IN PENDING not even a reciept to show my son for a Christmas present and that disgusting woman had the nerve to LAUGH!Initial Complaint

They are false advertising, I was on the website shopping for Christmas because it clearly stated will get to you by Christmas. I got the 3-7 day shipping so it would for sure be here for Christmas well no. It now says it won’t be here until three days after which means the shipping I got was apparently 7-10 instead of what I clicked. They Atleast need to take that off of their website if it isn’t guaranteed. When talking to customer service they pretty much just act like you are stupid and nothing they can do.Initial Complaint

Sportsman’s Warehouse advertises their Explore Rewards Store Credit card very aggressively. They claim that you receive 5 reward points per dollar spent using the card instead of the usual 1 point. On 11/11/2022 and 11/12/2022 I charged $1400 to my store card. From $0 balance to $1400 in two days. This should result in 7000 points. A $70 value and the only reason I got the card. My account has 700 points presently. This is only after four separate calls, the most recent of which I was able to talk to a supervisor. On all four calls, they blamed another representative or the bank who handles the cards and told me that it would be taken care of within 3-5 business days. When I talk to them the next time, they say “I’m sorry. Looks like no action has been taken in this but I’ll make sure your case is resubmitted.” I’ve been told I’d receive a call back and never got it. One representative was very condescending implying that I’m simply impatient which was a contradiction to what the previous rep said. I want to get the points I’m owed. I feel like I’ve been lied to. They finally pushed the card on me which is plastered all over their stores and which they try to sell you repeatedly at check out and now they won’t fulfill their side of the agreement and give me the points I’m owed. One transaction was $700 alone and that transaction shows as $0 in my account page. So not only did I not receive the 5 points I’m owed, I didn’t even receive the standard 1 point they offer everyone. Obviously calling their customer service has been fruitless and they’re hoping I just forget about it. My hope is that BBB can help me to get the points I’m owed to fix this false advertising situation.
