I order a scope from Sportsman's Warehouse on 23 July 2024 and paid for overnight shipping. I paid thru PayPal because I don't like giving my CC information out. The next morning I received an email that my order was canceled pending transaction verification. I called Sportsman's Warehouse customer service department so I could contact someone about the issue because my CC had already be charged. Customer service someone would contact me in a couple of days about the issue. I ask that my CC be credited so I could make the purchase somewhere else. I was told it would be 7 days before they could credit my account! I ask to speak to a supervisor and was told they don't have a supervisor or manager. I ask to speak to the Fraud department and was told they don't that information! Now I have no scope and $1,200 debit on my CC. I have received no action on there part to clear this matter up! Horrible customer service and apparently no manger's or supervisors to oversee the department.Initial Complaint

Company offered for sale a Springfield Armory XD-M Elite Compact OSP 45 Auto for a sale price and I attempted to purchase only to be notified item was out of stock. However, for two days following this, I received email offers for this same product at the same sale price only to have the same result occur.
This I believe is fraudulent sales advertising as it promotes buyers to go shop the company for items not available.Initial Complaint

Ordered on June 27 said it would be at store for pickup on July 3, a Birthday Present, did not come in, called July 3 was told item could not be located, told it was not in stock, but they charged my Visa and left it in PENDING for over a week. Never contacted me to let me know it was no longer in stock just left me hanging until it was past the Birthday the item was for. HORRIBLE customer service, aslo was to receive 10% off my purchase but and email had NO Stepulations but they refused to give me the 10% off after signing up for their rewards. So HORRBILE place no customer service, do NOT care about the customers! Very diappointed in this company!Initial Complaint

Ordered on website 5/28/24 selecting only items available in-store as I wanted to pick up later the same day. Once they started filling the order it changed to 4 separate days for availability. Called support to cancel as soon as I noticed (within 4 hours) and they will not cancel and refund money until all items have arrived at the store. They are holding my money hostage for 2 weeks and then another 5-7 days they state to return to my bank. It is unacceptable to not return my money immediately when I have received no merchandise.Initial Complaint

I purchased a sunntto compass from sportsman warehouse on 28 April 2024 order number ********** . With my debt card they debted my account for 75 dollars the amount of purchase. About two hours later they emailed me saying that the order was cancelled because payment verification issue I called my bank Wells Fargo they informed me sportsman warehouse debted my account already for the amount of purchase. I either want my money back or the item I purchased shipped. This is a extremely poor way for a reputable company to conduct business.Initial Complaint

On April 19, 2024, I ordered a pair of Salomon hiking shoes which cost $156.55. On April 23, 2024, I received a hair Buff, which cost $10.99 INSTEAD of the hiking shoes. I did NOT order anything other than the hiking shoes. They sent me the hair buff instead of the shoes. When I called Customer Service, I spoke with Whitney who not only told me that I would need to return the buff, but at my expense. I told her that this was THEIR MISTAKE, NOT MINE, but she insisted that I would not get my shoes until I returned the hair buff which is a fraction of the cost of the shoes and it wasn't my mistake. She confirmed for me that yes, I did order the shoes, but because I received the buff, I would need to send it back before I could have the shoes. I asked for a manager, but conveniently, a manager wasn't available. Supposedly they're calling me back, but I'm not holding my breath especially after reading the reviews on here. I have disputed the charge with my credit card, so hopefully they'll give me a refund because I'm sure I won't get one from Sportsmans Warehouse! They are deceitful and this shouldn't be acceptable!Initial Complaint

Between orders ********** and **********, I have paid for 2 Okuma 203 DLX fishing reels, made multiple in store attempts to pickup my items that were supposedly ready for pickup and currently have possession of none. I only want 1 of these items at the price the seller agreed to sell it to me. Company sells items and lists them as available to pick up from store with a suggested date for pickup, I Ordered and waited 4 days only to find the item is delayed with no explanation, upon contacting sportsman's they advised they were searching for inventory and it was unknown if I would receive the item. Stop selling things that you don't own. I will never use sportsman's warehouse again, online or in person.Initial Complaint

On 3/31/24 I ordered a pair of shoes off Sportsmans.com. I paid with a mix of gift card and visa debit card. When I ordered the shoes I ordered size 11 in men's and received a size 11 women's. The mistake was verified over the phone with Aubrey from Sportsman's Warehouse and she confirmed it was an accident on their end, whomever got the shoes did not follow proper protocol such as checking the bar code with the order confirmation. Now this inconvenience has been passed to me. Sportsman's Warehouse now expects me to re-pack my order, go to the post office, and send it back. After receiving the item they will offer a refund and I can purchase the order again if I still want them. I let them know I do not mind returning the wrong size or having to wait for the right size to come to me, but it is not my responsibility to go out of my way to the post office and re-purchase said item and wait for a refund. This has already cost me an hour and a half on the phone between Aubrey, Connor, and Ashley. Connor is another representative that answered the line and Ashley is the manager who was on duty at the time. All 3 wanted me to send the incorrect order back and wait for a refund and then purchase the item again. I just want the size shoe that I ordered and should not be held responsible for their mistakes and spend my time and gas money to correct it for them. On top of the issue described above, they would not let me talk to anyone else to try to resolve this, they hung up on me, lied to me, and were discourteous.
