  William Casey B**** replaced the gas valve in our 17 year-old gas fireplace. Upon his inspection, he noticed that the flex line was placed too close to the burner which causes the valve to wear more quickly. He replaced the flex line with a much shorter line and completed our original maintenance in about 45 minutes. William did an excellent job of explaining what the problem was and then repairing our fireplace. Thank you!!!

  Derrick D***** came to my residence three times and I always found him extremely knowledgeable, respectful, helpful and absolutely delightful! He first came out to check why my unit would not shut off and diagnosed a non-working gas valve. He spoke to someone at the office and told me that somebody would get back to me with an estimate. I heard from nobody for five days and then started calling. I usually waited at least 10 minutes to get a human and was then told someone would get back to me. Almost two weeks later and several more calls l was told by the receptionist that it would cost me $1200 to replace it on a fireplace that was less than four years old and that l have been complaining about for most of that time (uneven fire, popping sounds, etc.) It also had been serviced a month earlier with those same complaints. I asked to have a manager call me which never happened. A couple of calls later the receptionist tells me that it’s actually still under warranty and so I only had to pay for a $300 service call. By the way, I’ve been paying a monthly service fee for these past four years for over $400 annually. I paid and a few days later Derrick came back and replaced it, doing an excellent job. Unfortunately, a few days later the popping sound was back! This time it only took two calls to make an appointment to check it. Derrick came again, adjusted a few things and stayed for a while to make sure it was working correctly. Let’s hope this time is the charm. Derrick is wonderful but customer service does not seem to be very well run at Cyprus Air. My four stars is for the technician not the company.

  David was on time. He serviced my gas fireplace and explained how to get the best use of it. He was friendly and when he was done, everything was clean. You couldn't tell that he was here.
