      What the heck has happened to E*trade?!!!! I have been with them for a long time and this past week has been a venture through hell! Representatives not doing as the said they woould. Being liars, being deceptive and being very unprofessional! The **** representative called me a f...king idiot! I believe they have lost their minds. One thing is for sure, they are losing me as a loyal customer!Stay away from E*trade! I CANNOT trust them any more!

      I have personally traded with them and from ********* are their years of plausible deniability. Their "research" department allegedly seems to be in bed with our "honest" government. Three words: deceptive, shady, fascism.

      Ordered checks with Etrade bank several times and they have never arrived. **************** says they filed a case.. ..turned out not true. Will not let you speak with a manager. I have been a etrade bank customer for 20+ years. Last 6 mo has been horrible

      They are unprofessional and I think there is prejudice in how they treat their customers.They are also scammers and have a hold on my account and refused to let me have access after calling so many times.

      Do not buy stock with Etrade . Too many hidden fees . Even if you not active trading they will charged your account and refuse to close account .

      I have been an e-trade customer for over 30 years. over the past 3 weeks I have had issues accessing my account on-line, mobile and customer service over 5 times. this has ********************** impacted my ability to trade. I will moving my account ASAP. hopefully i will be able to do this without issues. The new E-trade is horrible!!!

      My father established an account years ago with my (then minor) daughter, and he has since passed and my daughter is now 19 yrs old. I've been communicating with Etrade reps for nearly a month while attempting to set up a joint account between she and I. At each contact I've been asked to upload identity verification documents (i.e., SS card (front and back) and Driver's licenses) for both me and my daughter, and at each contact reps have provided contradictory document request or claim the documents are not legible. My desktop scanner scans at 1200 dpi and they claim are not legible. As of today, I've had to upload photos of same documents via their mobile phone app and they still are not able or willing to validate the account and without it they will not transfer any holdings from my father's account. ***** and tired of dealing with them!!!

      Did not finalize setting up a Custodial *************** account after receiving all paperwork and required information. No communication, no email, no account messages, nothing. Called 4/15 because the contribution check had not cleared. Account representative assured me the retirement account would be opened and contribution check deposited as a 2023 tax year contribution. Today, I received my check back in the mail. Account not opened, deposit not made. I just lost a **** Contribution for 2023!!!!

      Be wary of this company. I haven't used my account in 10 years but decided to transfer 100k into my account this morning without issue. While I was on the phone with a very helpful Morgan Stanley Investment Rep setting up a savings account, my etrade account gets locked due to suspicious activity. I figured well its been dormant for awhile. I then speak to etrade and after verifying my social, address, 2 factor authentication code, address, birthdate, etc they ask me a security question "What was the first video game you ever played?" I dont remember what I put as the answer for that 20 years ago, so that is on me but I ask the etrade rep I dont remember can you ask another question, she tells me no but i can take 3 guesses. So I tell her just cancel my incoming transfer but she tells me she cant do that. I call my bank to cancel the transfer but they tell me etrade has to cancel it since it requested on their website. That makes sense. So now my money is trapped! So i proceed to jump through hoops and send a photo of my DL and signature to etrade. Now that wasnt good enough they had to get on the phone with my bank while online with me on the phone. I had to go through verification with my own bank and then etrade proceeds to drill my bank with "Is this account in good standing, is there any risk of reversal, has it been open longer than 6 months?" How embarrassing with me on the phone to a bank that knows me personally! Afterwards they finally unlock my account but i cant cancel the transfer now. As soon as my money hits etrade im moving it out immediately. I will NEVER use etrade again. Absolutely ridiculous! I advise caution with this company it is poorly managed and treats it clients like scam artists! Its their loss I will never do business with them again.

      E*Trade won’t allow me to transfer my money from my E*Trade savings account into my regular bank account. I already sold my stocks and wanted to withdraw my money and close my account since E*Trade is so user unfriendly. I followed all instructions and completed all forms multiple times and they canceled my asset transfer requests each time but there is no explanation as to why. They don’t answer the phone. They have literally stolen my money and I have no way to access it and can’t reach a person.
