Made the original investment and been somewhat satisfied with returns. However their live sessions are not live. Nothing of substance is discussed or disclosed. No idea what the investment in a media campaign is. The last campaign did not have a payout first time. But no responses to inquires. Have they shut down? Is it a Ponzi scheme? I am reporting it as a fraud to ****Customer Answer

I bought into a marketing company that took ****** of initial investment to participate in their marketing campaigns. A marketing campaign would last 30 days and cost ***** and then return at least ***** but always had a profit of up to ******. You cannot run successive campaigns. When one finished, it would take two weeks normally to be paid the 4k plus profit through Masspay. You could not run more than one campaign at a time. I signed a Client engagement contract with them and did a W9 to report income. I did 5 campaigns and the total profit was approximately $4500, but on the 5th campaign, they kept my *****. So I'm out for -$11,500. Here is the last email they sent to me and everyone else who bought a campaign: This is a notice from Online Academy:Online Academy has had to temporarily interrupt operations. We are working with our advisors and attorneys to resolve current issues around the campaigns and payments and hope to have answers for all investors and business partners on next steps by September 5th. We apologize for the inconvenience and will have answers as soon as we are able, but no later than September 5, 2023. We will be back in touch as quickly as possible. Thank you for understanding and apologies for the interruption.Online Academy TeamCustomer Answer

I entered into a contract with Online Academy LLC on 06/05/2023. Everything seemed to be going well and then I noticed in late August that links were not working. I contacted *********************** (co-owner) by text message. He said he was traveling outside the US until after Labor Day. Then I got an email from the company. Here is what they wrote:This is a notice from Online Academy.Online Academy has had to temporarily interrupt operations. No one is answering their phone, emails are not being returned, the website seems to be gone, and there is absolutely no communication from them whatsoever. They seemed to have skipped out on and with many people's money, including mine. I had invested $20,000.00 as did most others.Customer Answer

This is an online marketing company which entered into a contract specifying the following conditions: There was a $****** management fee to participate. After that you could fund one marketing campaign per month for $4,000 each and be guaranteed to receive no less than your $4,000 campaign funding back, along with any amount over that as profit, up to $6,000 over the marketing spend. It was also specified that if you decided to withdraw at any time, you would be refunded the $****** management fee less any profits you had already made through the program. I signed in May and funded three campaigns which did meet the commitment they made and the profits were approximately $2,500 total. I funded a fourth campaign which I never received any payment for, and while that campaign was ongoing, received an email stating that they were temporarily suspending operations and consulting with their advisors and lawyers, and that they would provide further information not later than Sept 5, which has come and gone with no further communication from them Based on the commitments made in their contract I am owed the ****** management fee back less the **** in profits received, and plus the guaranteed $4000 for the campaign I funded that I did not receive any payment for, for a total of $13,500.Customer Answer

BBB,On March2, 2023 I contracted (Lifetime Contract) with Online Academy for monthly marketing campaigns. The premise is I pay the contract fee, I pay the marketing campaign fee and Online Academy and I split the profit from the campaign. The worst the campaign could do is fail and I would be returned my marketing campaign fee for that month. This worked out well for five campaigns. You can see in my accounting that Online Academy paid the profit plus the marketing campaign fee back to me each month. Under their contract, I can terminate it at any time for any reason. The refund due to me would be the $12000 contract fee minus any profits paid out to me over the course of the campaigns. The marketing campaign fee gets returned each month with the profits. In August, I went to pay my marketing campaign fee and the link would not work. I sent Online Academy an email asking if there was an issue. I received the normal prompt reply that operations were temporarily suspended while they consulted with attorneys and amongst themselves I guess. Details and next steps would be sent to members no later than September 5th, 2023. That date arrived and passed with no details given out. I emailed on the September 6th, 2023 asking for an update. I texted the people at Online Academy that I had numbers for in my phone. No reply. I sent another email requesting a refund and a follow up email to that. I left a review on your BBB site. I have tried calling their phone number. I have received zero replies for all of this effort.I am currently owed $11984.40 by Online Academy per their contracted terms. $12,000 -$4015.20 paid profits +$4000 marketing campaign fee paid in July and not returned =$11984.40 I am seeking a refund in this amount.*****************************Customer Answer

I signed up for their program on November 28, 2022. The deal was that we paid $12,000 upfront for their services and $4000 for ***********************. They utilize the $4000 to sell products/courses online and they were to split the profits evenly with us. They guarantees that they would always pay us are $4000 back even if they don't make a profit. We were only allowed to purchase campaign per month. Things went well for the first six months and I received anywhere from $4500-$5000 roughly back each month. That was until the estimated payout on September 8th, 2023 when no money came in. At first I thought this was a mistake, and even went to go purchase another campaign. But the campaign payment link was not active, and all my emails to support were left unanswered. Then I realized it was a scam and that they probably never intended to pay back their customers. In total I am owed about $10,210 to recoup the funds that I put into ************************* company. I tried calling his sales representative ************************* and there was no response from him either. I believe a lot of people were scammed out of their money and they should issue us a refund.Customer Answer

I paid them $16,000 back in Feb 2023 under the promise I could request a full refund at any time. I've paid them a total of $40,000 since signing up and only received back $24,547. I've attached the contracts that online academy had us sign stating we could get refunded and be made whole at any time, which **** and his ********** swore countless times we had nothing to worry about. I actually believed **** was a legitimate business man, but that eventually changed into fear I'd been hoodwinked once I started getting payments that were way smaller than promised. I continued to try and give it a chance, but now they have stopped responding and are not processing my refund as promised. So if they are still unresponsive after my attempt to resolve this matter through BBB, my next call is to an attorney.
