We have 10 students booked the trip to ***** in this spring break. The teacher moved it to ****. As we never commit a **** education trip to *****, the **** trip is indeed canceled and were entitled 100% refund. However Worldstride wants to keep $399 in their pocket without fully refunded. This is unlawful. Please be careful of using this website in the future

When my daughters flight to her European trip was cancelled and would not be able to be rebooked for more then 36 hrs. World Strides advised those who bought the insurance through ********* to cancel stating we would get reimbursed. Now ******** is refusing to refund my daughter for her trip. We would not have cancelled her trip if we were not advised to do so.

Dear ********************* Thank you very much for reaching out to us and sharing your experience. We want you to know that we value your feedback and take your concerns very seriously. We are sorry that your childs trip did not go as expected, unfortunately, the flight cancellation was out of our control, nonetheless, our on-tour-assistance team did everything in their hands to assist the group and to book the soonest flight available. Looking at the details of your trip, the departure date was scheduled for June 28th, 2023, and based on the details of your account the cancellation was not requested until October 6th of this year. This was requested by you through an email after submitting your claim to **** ****, it seems this was submitted under the wrong reason. Since the trip was not canceled but continued, those who decided to continue with the rescheduled flights. The claim was to be submitted for a flight cancellation, not for the trips cancellation. We are reaching out to **** **** to assist you with your claim and will remain in contact regarding any necessary additional information. Please note that **** **** is a separate entity from WorldStrides, and we do not have any influence on their claims process and decision-making.Once again, thank you for choosing WorldStrides. We truly value your business and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future.Best Regards, ***********************

Horrendous customer service, and their cancellation policy is the worst I have ever seen. If I could give no star I would! They offer a $250 cancellation plan but when you are signing up it only states that "if you cancel" (which I did not) you have the right to a full refund, in other words you still end up losing $250, but if you don't read their full cancellation policy (which most of us don't do because we don't have time) then you might end up losing way more than $250 due to the school/organizer cancelling if you don't pay for their cancellation plan. I paid $1,400 and lost $799 to this bad company, but the school was also at fault for not making sure everyone was attending/signing up for the trip, because of not everyone attending the school cancelled without caring whether you lost money or not.

After spending over an hour on the phone I was more confused than I was before I made the phone call. The agent I spoke to phone continously cut out. When discussing financial assistance I was told they would give $210.00 on a $1299.00 trip to a low income child. When I asked her about the fundraising she couldn't tell me any information on it other than all the money would go to the child's account but the ****** payment had to be made for 5 months a $6 processing fee would be charged to the payment. Any money paid above and beyond would be refunded after the payment was processed at the end. I asked how long it took for the money to be returned she said 6 to 8 weeks. When I said what if I raise the total in a month. She stated I would still have to make the $228.00 payment. When the call began she told me before she could answer any financial questions I needed to set up an account. I gave her the information and after all this discussion she told me that she had not set up the account and I would have to do it all again. So I gave her the information again then she told me about the amount of monthly payment, down payment ect., once I started questioning why the payment was higher than the actually total again she told me she couldn't confirm the numbers until I had the account set up. It was a complete circus. After that and reading reviews on this site as well as others I immediately called the school and talked to the principle. I wouldn't send my dog on a field trip with these people. There agents are not educated on how this all works, they prey on attempting to confuse you. The agents barely speak English and lack the ability to understand simple math. I would not have anything to do with this company.

most dishonest and greedy company ever, they should be called evilstrides, they dont care about you , our school flight was cancelled with no notification from worldstrides. we had to figure it out on our own, 9 hours later most of the group left except for 4 of us parents had to stay behind do to no more room on that flight and we needed to take a redeye flight 17 hours later , after trip called to get refund on day missed and not using my hotel room or not utilizing the dinner either. they said that they had refunded me $100 for inconvenience fee, spent way more then that at the airport for food and drinks. and nothing more they can do and said you went on trip and the fees are set, I asked for an itemized bill and they said they don't have one the fee is the fee. I just wanted what was fair, I complied with my portion , but they didn't comply with theirs, I wanted $240 for day missed and my $299 full refund program fee refunded I felt that was fair. they had discounted $240 for a day they had to take back from before the trip. I had asked what did that amount consist of and they said they don't know. they just blame everything on the financial **** that they make all decisions, and of course you cannot get in contact with them , they should all be ashamed of themselves for taking all of hard working money, be aware and go elsewhere for history trips. I would not have given them a star but need to put at least one to leave a review

Stay away!!! Very dishonest business!!! They charge whatever cancellation fees they decide and then want you to wait six weeks to get a check in the mail when they have the credit card number on file (that you made payments with) to issue an immediate refund! CSRs could care less if you are pleased. They refuse to contact their supervisor regarding issues. They do not care that they have used our money for four years because of Covid cancellation(s). I would give this company a ZERO rating for their business practices.

They charge an obscene amount of money for their exclusive must be recommended to summer camps ( wrong you can just pay to go from website). Then you get your child there to find an unorganized system with unqualified staff members and no materials for the camp. Example: robotics- no materials ever came and they made the kids (teens) pretend to be robots. The food was served cold. The kids do not get to focus on what they picked as their main topic as presented in information. When contacted the company just doesnt respond. If you get through to anyone you are either passed around, must leave a message that is never returned, or simply disconnected. Emails are never answered. BEWARE and STAY AWAY!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. They are not honest with making payments and charge you fees for everything that are simply not fair. I will never use this company again for school related trips. STAY AWAY because they will tell you one thing and then do the polar opposite. Their sales pitch does not match what happens once you sign up. They really should be investigated for all the hidden fees that they charge and do tell you about upfront.

This company has been horrible to work with. My minor daughters luggage was lost on a trip and they refuse to help us at all and are blaming her for it instead of taking responsibility. Do not trust them to take your child on a trip!! They do not do what they say and are horrible to work with.

Awful experience. Beware do not use worldstrides. Company has declined significantly in the last year or two. Zero support if anything goes wrong on your trip. Lets face it part of international travel is the adventure of navigating challenges, we embrace it and make the best of it. However it has reached a level of it being unsafe and not delivering in what students pay for.
