  This company ruined a lot of 8th graders day! First we had to wake up and be at the loading destination and WE DIDNT EVEN HAVE A BUS OR DRIVER! Then yall found a driver and they offered to take us but yall wouldnt pay them overtime for the extra hours he would have been working.This trip was supposed to be fun but ended up bad and we couldnt even go.

  This is awful! Why are schools continuing to use services from these guys? I paid for my child's school trip. We wound up moving and needing to change schools. I bought the insurance program as well. They are not refunding my money in a timely fashion, and they are keeping $295.00 in "non-refundable fees", even though I am cancelling 4+ months before the trip. I've had to call customer service several times. They don't follow through with their promises.

  My child was enrolled to go to ********** on a trip with her school. Unfortunately she could no longer go, so I called to cancel her trip and get her refund for $1500. I was told the refund would go to the school, despite me directly paying World strides. After 2 months, neither the school nor I have been refunded. SCAM. My daughter earned that money and this company screwed her out of it. HOW DARE THEY! IF I could give negative stars I would.

  If I could give 0 stars I would! Due to a very unforeseen circumstance, we were unable to continue our trip. This was not through a school but was a trip that the program leader, who also happened to be a teacher, has done for over 18 years and had all the ins and outs of the whole trip down to a science. We felt very comfortable and in good hands going on this trip. That was until the program leader was arrested! No one cancelled the trip, World Strides made that call to cancel. The trip had only been booked for a month, only one monthly payment had been made and we were still over a year out from our trip so really, world strides hadnt done any work for the trip yet except to set up a trip ID and take a payment. I had paid close to $900 dollars for 3 of us to travel. I got $97 back for my husband and me and $53 for my kid so $247 total out of the $900 put in. Beware of all the legal speak and fine print when you book anything with this company. Very poor customer service for people using them, especially when they made the decision to cancel.

  If I can put 9 then I will do it. My son has been accepted to their The Honors Performance Series and they charged us $250 for deposit. We tried to find more information about the program, for example, the acceptance rate. But they said they dont have the number since they dont know how many people applied. What a joke! They dont know how many people applied! We asked refund at 10 days of acceptance letter. They refused to pay back and they said in the fine print: we have to do it within 7 days. There is no option of decline the program and there is no date in their acceptance letter. No sure what I can do to get my money back!

  BUYER BEWARE!! My kids school went through this company for a trip to Europe. Keep in mind that Trip INS was purchased too. We were so excited, however, the $4000.00 trip got cancelled and we were told that the money would be refunded. Needless to say, the company that wants their money ASAP does not want to give a refund or even a response about a refund at all. When I 1st called about the refund, they told me that there were no funds on my account to be refunded. UMMM NO, you can clearly look at my account an see the dates that money was paid to your company and for how much. After being on hold for quite some time and checking with his "supervisor" suddenly they saw that there was actually money on my account. I was told that the refund would take EIGHT WEEKS??? However, I asked if it could please be expedited to which they replied "YES". I sent an email to the company confirming our conversation and the requested expedited refund. I have followed up with the company regarding my "expedited" refund for 5 weeks now and have not been able to get a response from anyone at this company. I had been told by a friend that she had heard terrible things about this company and their School Trips. Needless to say, I wish I would have listened. I will NEVER do business with this company again. I wish I would have come here and read the reviews prior to booking the trip. It appears the service that you are paying for is nothing compared the the experience they are trying to sell you as upscale

  WorldStrides is the absolute biggest scam that I have ever encountered. After paying thousands for a trip, they put us in a community center that costed less than fifty dollars a night. There was barely any food given to us throughout the entire trip. Our tour guide, ******, had never even been to that part of the country before. She acted like it was her first day on the job and was absolutely awful at listening to our requests. It was someone else who finally got us moved out of a community center (because legal adults were staying in practically the same bunk room as us). WorldStrides did not come through on any of their promises for the trip, and is the biggest, most money hungry company I have ever seen.

  If I could leave a zero star review, I would. My daughter has not even left yet for the trip and this company has already swindled me out of money that I dont owe them. They harassed me for my daughters final payment- claiming it was never received (when in fact- I sent them TWO pieces of evidence from my bank showing it was paid AND received on their end). They said they can put me on a payment plan until they figure this out, so I begrudgingly agreed, but its been weeks and they still havent gotten to the bottom of this - as the customer service rep keeps telling me. *** already contacted my daughters school to inform them of this horrible business and to make sure they never use them again. At this point, Worldstrides is stealing money from me and this should be considered a crime. I now have to cancel my credit card to ensure they do not charge more of my money.
