Dollar Tree knowingly advertises products for sale that they do not actually have for sale in their stores or online. I reached out to them, and they told me some ** about inventory being limited to certain stores for certain items. If that's the case, don't advertise the items that are not available in my area to me. Don't advertise items online that you don't have available for sale online. Basically, stop being an evil company, practicing unethical bait and switch advertising from your marketing department, and start being a responsible company that operates within the laws. Obviously this is a zero star experience, but the Better Business Bureau is forcing me to give one star. However, don't believe a single thing you see from marketing at the Dollar Tree because they're only goal is to get you into the store whether it's in violation of laws and ethical standards, or not.

      Horrible customer service.
CSR not reporting the issue then only got resolved after 3 phone calls and 4 weeks of misinformation.
4 Misleading emails. I have saved them as proof that no one knows what is going on with in their company.
      Store Manager completely incompetent.
      They have lost my $$$$$.
Theft betwee the warehouse/truck drivers/store personnel is overwhelming.

I visited a Dollar Tree store number **** at 1***** Merrick Blvd Queens NY 11434. I was in a crowded store with an upset employee. She cursed me out and told me that if she was to smack me she would be able to keep her job. I am a senior in the community and should not have to be afraid to visit my local Dollar Tree. In addition, no one from the management team addressed her conduct and she was wearing a hair bonnet and a jacket to cover her name tag so I was unable to get her name.

I bought some items that were labeled as being burlap.. after purchasing, and getting these home I saw the smaller print label that says it’s actually polyester. I did not have my reading glasses with me. I can’t use this to burn in a bee smoker because polyester fumes are toxic. I went to take the items back and they would not give me a refund even though I paid cash and had my receipt! They said they do not do cash refunds only store credit. I asked them where this was posted? The manager said it’s on the receipt! So it’s not posted anywhere it’s printed on the receipt. How are you supposed to know this is the store policy when it’s not posted?

I bought 7 boxes of aluminum foil. This is the DOLLAR Tree located in Poulsbo, Washington. Street address is 19689 7th Ave NE Unit 10.
To my Horror, there were tiny bugs inside the wrapping. I do not like it when restaurants bring me food with bugs on my food. And I certainly do not like wrapping my food up , at home, with bugs.
My next step is to contact the Health department. Please pay me back my 7 x 1.25 dollars plus tax for your seven boxes of bug infested aluminum foil I had to throw away. Please get the store fumigated. Customers come to your stores because of the terrific prices. Please keep bugs out of the items we buy.

03/15/2023 I went to Dollar Tree located at **** ******* Ave in Riverside CA.. I picked up some magnetic picture frames selling for $1.00 each, according to the sign over them.
At the register I wanted to make sure that I had only paid $1.00 for each. I asked the cashier, she said she had no idea. I asked if she can please check. She said that I had paid $1.25 for each. I told her about the $1.00 sign, She said she could not change the price. I asked if she could go check the sign, she called another employee. The other employee came to tell me that I could either take the items or leave them, that they were not doing a price check. I politely asked her to at least take the $1.00 sign off, she said she could not.
The cashier told me that she could not believe I was making such a big fuss over 50 cents. I replied that it was not for the money but that people were being taken advantage of.
As I was waiting for the cashier to complete my transaction, the other employee, came back and started telling me things. She said she was the manager. I said I was not talking to her. She got really close to me, into my personal space and threatened me by telling me that, what I was doing could cause me to get slapped. I replied that I did not understand what she meant. She walked away.
The cashier told me that her register had frozen and I was not getting a receipt. She walked away from the register and left me standing there. When she came back, I asked if my transaction had been processed, so I could leave. She said yes. I had no option but to leave without a receipt. Is Dollar tree intentionally mislabeling their items? Multiply .50 by 1,000 people a week, that's $500 additional dollars into their pockets. Who's the target? People who don't speak up and if they do they get threatened and mistreated.

They accused me of theft in front of all the customers. I’ve never stolen anything in my life. I’ll never never spend another dime in this store.

I received a mug for Christmas manufactured by Greenbrier International Inc. which states on the bottom of the mug that it is microwave and dishwasher safe. I microwaved some tea in the mug in the mug and when I went to take it out of the microwave the handle of the mug was so hot that I severely burned my hand.
This is extremely dangerous and this company should not be putting false information on their products. While researching online to find a way to contact this company I saw that they manufacture plates, cups, and other stoneware and that their products are sold in many stores, not just the Dollar Store. Buyer beware!
Is there no quality control or recourse from this company for putting false information on faulty products?

Opened product of Almond milk where it appears over a cup is missing.
Lexington NC has many people with disabilities. In fact it is a city of disabilities.
The camera needs to be ran back. People are opening products of drinkable containers. They are drinking from the containers and putting it back on the shelf.
I had to pour the container of almond milk away., afraid of what might be in it.
I think it could be am employee shutting down the camera that records what is happening in the store.
      This is SO GROSS..
There is COVID, STREP, PNEUMONIA, BACTERIAL MOUTH INFECTIONS.
I was a certified Nursing Assistant and certified EMT Basic in NC. The general public has no idea how dangerous this is.
